I'd say not reckless but taking some risk. Prediction is a must have on a stall team. He just happened to stumble upon a smarter player.

Also, all these people complaining about stall... Just like crits and other shenanigans, it's just something you have to prepare yourself for. And honestly, stall seems to be SUBSTANTIALLY weaker this gen, so if people are still griping about it I dunno what else to tell them.
Scald removal and Recover nerf definitely harmed Stall a lot. Also, nerfed stall is usually only prevalent in VC and AG anyways from what I've seen, so there's not much reason to complain. Especially considering how many counters to Clodsire and Skeledirge and other threats there are in Gen 9 too lol
