Lost Mom on April 9 of last year. She had a stroke and lasted for one month, 28 days and went home on Easter morning. All the way to the end she remembered Jesus. Love you, mama.
My mom passed away on June 13 of this year after battling dementia. I've always loved this song and it has become an important part of my grieving. One week before she passed I visited her in the hospital. Her and I have been big Gaither and Homecoming Friends fans for many years. She wanted to listen to music so I pulled up my gaither favorites list on TH-cam music and started playing it. I started singing with the music, singing the songs to her. I'm no American idol but I've got a good voice. The transformation she underwent was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Her face shown of pure joy! She definitely remembered who Jesus is. I'll never forget that time I had with my mom.
My mom had Alzheimer’s too. She never forgot the name of Jesus or my dad’s name. Jesus said I will not ever leave you or forsake you. She could still remember most church songs from the hymnal. She would smile at us, but couldn’t call her children’s names. It was true, He was there with her the whole time.
I’m 80 yrs. And an only child and losing my blessed mom and dad just broke me. They gave me a Christian life and God along with my mom and dad were my rock. They were here for me when I lost my husband to a brain tumor at 52. We were a family never to be broken. I will join them soon. Love your ministry thru you precious music. Thanks for lifting me up. Live in Va.
I wrote She Still Remembers Jesus Name in tribute to my great grandmother Marie Redenbaker ❤ who had Ahlzheimers the last two years of her life 💔. She was the mother of Orville Redenbaker and a sister of Vestal Goodman.
Mom has gotten to where she doesn’t talk much. Once in a while we can get her to say hi or hi to whichever daughter is there. In January of this year she still knew us and talked. They shut down the facility to families for about a month because every resident tested positive for COVID except Mom. When they allowed us in again, she no longer spoke except for an occasional word. It’s sad watching her go downhill like this. She’s dying inch by inch. I did receive a gift yesterday; she kissed me goodbye. 🥰
Such a beautiful song! My mother will soon be 98 and suffering with Dementia. She has forgotten a lot and is failing. This song says so much about her life, her faith and her close walk with Jesus. Thank you Jesus!
It's truly an inspiring song. After almost 40 years as a missionary in Japan my mother-in-law developed Alzheimers. She was such a sweet lady and I loved her as much as I loved my own mother. There were eight missionary couples that served together in Japan...my mother-in-law and her husband being one couple. Four of the eight missionary ladies developed Alzehimers. Maybe one day Jesus will let us know why things happened as they did. My heart goes out to all those who have loved ones with Alzheimers. May the Lord comfort your hearts with His peace.
This is a beautiful song, He always leave His mark on her heart she never forget tell us about Jesus, every Sunday we to go to church and Sunday school.
What a great song. I have an aunt with Alzheimer's now. It is so sad. I can remember always calling her if I was down and out she would always pray with me. Now she don't even know her children but she still remembers GOD! I shared this song with my cousins they said it was such a blessing to them. Her sister also had Alzheimer's. This song really touches our family. God Bless you guys.
This is the story of my Mom and how I've found peace after she passed away. I praise God for this message of hope, consolation, and so thankful for the gift the Booth Brothers have given to us through this song. God bless those who composed this piece and shared it with those whose family members struggle with this insidious disease.
When my dad was in the care center his dementia was bad. All through the years, though, he had memorized volumes of scripture word for word and he could still quote scripture even in his debilitated state.
My husband passed away from Alzheimers, 2/21/15...one week ago tonight. This song gives me such comfort! Palmer, you are forever in my heart. Rest in Jesus loving arms!
I never fall short of amazed when I hear our residents in the Dementia/Alzheimer's unit complete the Lords Prayer word for word, or sing not just 1 verse of their favorite hymn or hymns but all of the verses. They may forget who we are but they never Forget Who HE IS!! God Bless all of the family members who are dealing with this. May the Lord show you comfort in the midst. Love you all!!
Oh Jesus is absolutely amazing! He never ceases to amaze me at every turn. Best decision I ever made was turning my life over to Him. I know, no matter what, I will Never forget His name. God bless you for being a caretaker. I couldn't imagine how hectic it is to do it professionally. I'm currently caring for my dad full time. He has white matter on his brain, but he hasn't been diagnosed with anything further yet. It hasn't been too long since we found out about it. Anyway, thank you for what you do as well. God bless anyone who reads this. 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
My mother had dementia. She didn’t know us but she could sing hymns when she heard them and on her last day she recited The Lord’s Prayer with our pastor. 🙏🏻❤️
I wish they would sing this at their concerts. My best friends husband has Alzheimer’s and she said he still can quote scripture and talks about the Bible. My mom has it now and she always wants to go to church. Just about everyday she gets up ready for Church. You guys are amazing your songs hit homes so much!
I heard this song about 2 months after my husband passed away, He was a Evangelist he even blessed all of his seven grandchildren even doing Jesus work. I used up about 4 boxes of tissues that day. He still remember what was important in life. The first part of the song says her husband died this past fall. That also was my husband he went to be with the Lord. September 30 2015. After hearing this song I had to buy it. Thanks for a beautiful song.

Wow that's really amazing I know this song is going to touch the world. I listen to this song everyday but still like the first time.. well how are you doing today?? Please I'm hoping to get a response from you okay
God bless you and thank you for this song. My momma had dementia just before she went to be with The Lord. Try to remember how precious every moment you have with a loved one while there with you. Show love and kindness & respect for the elderly, there vulnerable, and just need to know there needed and treat them respect and dignity. One day my mom and I were going in and out an elevator and as quickly as that happens to the man she said 'REMEMBER JESUS'. Hope to see him There and you all! Shalom&Marantha
Losing both my in-laws to dementia/alzheimer's My mother-in-law this past June. This song was a Godsend for us. The word to the song describe well what your loved one does. My father-in-law would be calmed by reading the Word and quoted scripture you were reading to him. Word s to hymns came from my mother-law. Yet she could not remember family members gathered around her. Thank you Phil Cross for your vision and Thank you Booth Brothers for doing an incredible job on this powerful song.
Wow! This song really got to me. I spent 19 years as a nurse in an Alzheimer's unit. I also have a Grandmom in her mid 90's with dementia. This song made me cry. My Grandmom still remembers Jesus' name. The last verse of this song is the best. It will help with the hurting when she does go home to be with the Lord. Thank-you for posting this song.

😭 😭 😭 😭 oh praise You our precious Jesus! This song has me tearing up 😢 just thinking about others going through this. God bless you.. and may you draw closer to the Lord during these times and always. 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
Thank you for capturing your Grandma's heart for Jesus and my mom's. She remembers little of day to day, the past, people or events, but we sing the songs of the LAMB together every day, and she rarely misses a word. Thank you for your music and your hearts.
Thank you Booth Brothers, your beautiful singing has done so much for me and through you I have found Jesus again, God Bless You for that. I lost my precious granddaughter 4 years ago aged just 3 months, our faith saw us through the pain, but gradually I stopped Jesus in my life ,why I don't know, My Reverend Liz shouted when I went to church you are back, Praise The Lord. Amen. Thank you. With God Blessings to you and your families.
amazing song. I lost a mother to Alzheimer's and am presently dealing with a cousin and a life long friend, who both have advancing Dementia----but they both remember Jesus !
We just used this at my Mom's funeral this past Thursday. Thank you for such a beautiful song, and the immages it helps to leave in my heart of her.... RIP Momma, Grace McCrickard 8/22/1922 - 1/20/2015
I know all too well the pain your in and go though, may God bless you and comfort you. My mother was murdered when I was 13 and I was raised by my grand-parents and I just lost my Grandma January 31 of this year 2017, my dad is dead O.D'ed (Meth) and all I have left in this world is my Grandpa and he is 81 but feisty as ever :). my sister is on Meth and has 3 warrants and robbed me so many times I couldn't have her around anymore. Stole my meds made me suffer greatly but I still love her and I pray God will help her and guide her to Him. My health is horrible, I have had 2 heart attacks and I am only 33 with more illnesses then the doctors know how to help with. I pray for God to come for me and End my suffering every night. Though all my hellish life I still believe and Love the Lord with all my heart and soul, He is my everything. God Bless you all, May your holidays be bright and happy and may your lives be happy, sending you all much love.
@@kalisamaes5818 thank you very much I'm really moved seeing this your comments well I tell you today the Lord God knows your pain 🙏🙏 just be at peace with yourself okay ❤️❤️
May God Bless You And YOUR whole family. This song really hits home. Just loss my cousin at 65 because of dementia. A good friend of mine took care of his wife. She was in her early 50s. then lost her battle with dementia. I'm sure she remembers because they were really active in their Church they loved so much.
We are Gospel Dj.s playing in the Nursing Homes , room's packed for an hour or more each month for thirteen years all free. We get a blessing with these sweet people they know the song's sing all the way through the the old songs, when we go in they call us music greeting us with big smiles . Through these people I see my Mother, a Dad, sister and some ones brother . biljongospeldjs in Va
Wow! Just heavenly! I love the music, the singing, and the lyrics. Thank you Booth Brothers for sharing this with us. To those listening to this song in 2024: If this doesn't uplift you, nothing will! Love from Malaysia!
Beautiful song, my moms brother and sister has passed from ALZ a few yrs ago and now my Moms Sister husbands passed from Covid and Parkinson and Aunt Pauline slowly is getting ALZ along with covid, I praise God that my mother took the gene test and will not get it. Bless you all, come back to Dayton, Ohio when Covid is over,
for my aunt Ginny who cannot remember anything but can quote scripture and talk about Jesus all day long. It hurts she doesn't know us or gets us confused but as long as she remembers Jesus it's all okay.
Love this song. We wish that my dear wife's Mother would still know her name and Jesus name. We're going to visit her at the nursing home tomorrow and bring a birthday cake for all to enjoy. You see she just turned 93 on Jan. 18, 2013. They always have a social hour on Sundays for the residents and family and friends.
This Song is so moving. My Uncle suffered from Alzheimer's & he squeezed my hand in the Hospital. Even though he was in a Coma. I wish I could have held my Brother's Hand when he was on Life Support 💔😢
What a beautiful voice Ronnie Booth has and instills the living spirit in any lyrics. The group is phenomenal and always brings such joy and love from their presence in music. I am blessed by the Booth Brothers.
Although my family has never experienced the devastation of this terrible disease, I cry every time I hear you guys sing this song. My prayer is that my faith would be as strong and my love of Jesus so deep that I would NEVER forget Him, and would be a witness of His love and grace to my last breath. Thank you so much for your commitment to spreading the Gospel to the world. Our family loves your music and never misses the opportunity to see you when you are in California. Merry Christmas!!
So many times I think of my mother-in-law. She is 94 and most time does not know us but she does know Jesus. One day her memory will return and the first person she will see is Jesus. Love you so much Nancy Moore
I can't get enough of this one. Great words and and enjoy the scenes. My dad died with memory problems 4 years ago at 92 but could still pray to Jesus before a meal.
This song, 'She Still Remembers Jesus' is so real to me at this time in my life because my husband has PD & with it he has Dementia, Hallucinations, & Delusions...BUT...he still remembers Jesus...he still prays...& he remembers when Jesus saved him!! I am so blessed for all that & love the song! (He also loves 'Ask The Blind Man') Thank you, so much!!! Cody, WY
What can I say? A unique, touching song sung by the very creme de la creme of gospel singers. To know the Booth Brothers is to love them! This is because they make it so evident that they love Him! Thank you, Ronnie, Jim & MIchael for what I hope to be the first of many more videos to come.
This song perfectly describes my mother. At 88 years old, she suffers from Alzheimer's. Much of her memory is lost but she can still sing the words to all the old hymns and she is still completely anchored in the truth of her faith in Jesus Christ. She may not recognize the friend or neighbor that has lived next door to her for 20 years, but she still knows Jesus. Thank you Booth Brothers for this gorgeous song and putting into words what is very hard to express.
I lost my mama 4 years ago this October to ALZ. It broke my heart when she didn't know my name but i know where mama is i miss her and i guess if i tell THE truth im kind of mad at God .i know its wrong how do i fix it with him. June 14 1934 to OCTOBER 2 2016
This song describes my Mammaw before she passed away. She could pray the sweetest prayers at meal times, yet she had no clue sometimes as to I was. She often thought of me as her sister instead of her granddaughter. She was one of Godliest women I have ever known, and God truly left His mark upon her heart.
i have a good friend that has alzheimers she is about 70 some it brakes my heart we use to go out to walmart go out to eat clean house for her now its hard to go see her i try to keep tears back i love this song so much it touches my heart
Never was a song written that was my mother. Virtually every word of the song described her. She went on to meet her Saviour last year. We played this song at her funeral. Thank you to the songwriter and The Booth Brothers.
My hubby just died on Feb. 16 of this disease, but I don't know if he remembered Jesus name for sure. He was a Christian and before he got so bad he was praising God a whole lot. He was 91 when he died. This song made cry also.
Sometimes it seem so hard to listen to this song. I lost both my parents to Dementia in the last two years. I can hold the fact that both were saved and now in Heaven. But the pain doesn't go way.
My grandma passed away on December 14th and suffered from alzheimers. Her health declined rapidly in her last few weeks on this earth. This was one of the songs that was played in her video of pictures at the funeral followed by I can only imagine
@@smithmikeson8065 I'm doing good. Since then I have suffered two miscarriages but my husband and myself are at peace because the Lord has a plan for us. One thing that helps make me feel at peace is that they are with my grandma

That last verse....... An incredible song. After working in an Alzheimer's unit for 19 years, and having two family members who had memory loss, one of whom knew the LORD, that last verse is truly a comfort. A sad disease, but it can't wipe out the memory of JESUS

LYRICS:
Time has cast a shadow on her memory
And age has robbed her mind of dates and names
Seems the pieces of her past are lost forever
And the old home place just doesn't seem the same
Faded pictures taped into the family albums
She tries in vain but can't seem to recall
That the handsome man was once her loving husband
Who went Home to be with Jesus just last fall
But she still remembers Jesus and His amazing grace
He left a mark upon her heart that time cannot erase
She can tell you who He is and what He did and why He came
Yes she still remembers Jesus' name
Still her children come most every day to see her
Behind their smiles they try to hide their pain
But at times its hard to keep the tears from coming
When she asks her first born child, "Now what's your name?"
Yet she knows every word to "Rock of Ages Cleft for Me"
You can feel His presence in the room when she quotes John 3: 16
Though she was just a young girl when she first knelt down to pray
She remembers when she met Him like it was yesterday
Yes she still remembers Jesus and His amazing grace
He left a mark upon her heart that time cannot erase
She can tell you who He is and what He did and why He came
Yes she still remembers Jesus' name
It's a comfort to her family and it helps to ease their pain
That she still remembers Jesus' name
Jesus' name

Yet she could not remember family members gathered around her. Thank you Phil Cross for your vision and Thank you Booth Brothers for doing an incredible job on this powerful song.
Hello how are you doing???
Thank-you for posting this song.
to God be the Glory
am surely adding this song in my
its precisely in line with my life and experience I hard in prison
MrsEgrit it is well
Time has cast a shadow on her memory
Jesus' name
😭 😭 😭 😭 oh praise You our precious Jesus! This song has me tearing up 😢 just thinking about others going through this. God bless you.. and may you draw closer to the Lord during these times and always.
🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
Thank you for capturing your Grandma's heart for Jesus and my mom's. She remembers little of day to day, the past, people or events, but we sing the songs of the LAMB together every day, and she rarely misses a word. Thank you for your music and your hearts.
this song reminds me of my aunt she did not know her own children but she remembers jesus and sang jesus loves me
That's amazing absolutely a gift from God!! Well how are you doing today??
Thank you Booth Brothers, your beautiful singing has done so much for me and through you I have found Jesus again, God Bless You for that. I lost my precious granddaughter 4 years ago aged just 3 months, our faith saw us through the pain, but gradually I stopped Jesus in my life ,why I don't know, My Reverend Liz shouted when I went to church you are back, Praise The
Lord. Amen. Thank you. With God Blessings to you and your families.
amazing song. I lost a mother to Alzheimer's and am presently dealing with a cousin and a life long friend, who both have advancing Dementia----but they both remember Jesus !
Beautiful song beautifully done.
We just used this at my Mom's funeral this past Thursday. Thank you for such a beautiful song, and the immages it helps to leave in my heart of her.... RIP Momma, Grace McCrickard 8/22/1922 - 1/20/2015
+Annette Cole My mom suffers with severe dementia and this song made me wept! I feel your pain!!!
Beautiful song and beautifully done. Cried through the whole song. Booth Brothers are the best.

I miss Ronnie singing with the guys. Beautiful song 💕
for my aunt Ginny who cannot remember anything but can quote scripture and talk about Jesus all day long.
Beautiful song with Jesus there is comfort and peace that passes all understanding I witnessed this in person PTL

This is the MOST Beautifulest song I've ever heard 💯❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💯So beautifully sang ❤

You guys have gone way over the top on this one your video the song everything about it is just so beautiful so emotional and meaningful
(He also loves 'Ask The Blind Man')
Thank you, so much!!! Cody, WY
My Sister has Alzheimers. But she remember some of these words. She sings like a bird. I love her so. ❤❤❤
What can I say? A unique, touching song sung by the very creme de la creme of gospel singers. To know the Booth Brothers is to love them! This is because they make it so evident that they love Him! Thank you, Ronnie, Jim & MIchael for what I hope to be the first of many more videos to come.
They did pretty awesome I'm truly moved❤️🖤💯 well how are you doing today?
This song perfectly describes my mother. At 88 years old, she suffers from Alzheimer's. Much of her memory is lost but she can still sing the words to all the old hymns and she is still completely anchored in the truth of her faith in Jesus Christ. She may not recognize the friend or neighbor that has lived next door to her for 20 years, but she still knows Jesus. Thank you Booth Brothers for this gorgeous song and putting into words what is very hard to express.
Beautiful and amazing song ❣️ well how are you doing today?
I lost my mama 4 years ago this October to ALZ. It broke my heart when she didn't know my name but i know where mama is i miss her and i guess if i tell THE truth im kind of mad at God .i know its wrong how do i fix it with him. June 14 1934 to OCTOBER 2 2016
This song describes my Mammaw before she passed away. She could pray the sweetest prayers at meal times, yet she had no clue sometimes as to I was. She often thought of me as her sister instead of her granddaughter. She was one of Godliest women I have ever known, and God truly left His mark upon her heart.
That's really great well how are you doing today??
i have a good friend that has alzheimers she is about 70 some it brakes my heart we use to go out to walmart go out to eat clean house for her now its hard to go see her i try to keep tears back i love this song so much it touches my heart

I love this song so much 💕🙏
Never was a song written that was my mother.
Hello how are you doing??
Sometimes it seem so hard to listen to this song. I lost both my parents to Dementia in the last two years. I can hold the fact that both were saved and now in Heaven. But the pain doesn't go way.
Ron, you have outdone yourself with this song. So, have the others in your group.
Love this group!! Best combo of BOOTH BROTHERS
My grandma passed away on December 14th and suffered from alzheimers. Her health declined rapidly in her last few weeks on this earth. This was one of the songs that was played in her video of pictures at the funeral followed by I can only imagine
That's really amazing may her soul rest in peace 💔 well how are you doing today??
@@smithmikeson8065 I'm doing good. Since then I have suffered two miscarriages but my husband and myself are at peace because the Lord has a plan for us. One thing that helps make me feel at peace is that they are with my grandma
@@emilybushong9344 that's absolutely true dear
@@emilybushong9344 My prayer for you this day is that before you call one, hundreds will arise to favour you. I see people falling over themselves to divinely favour you. As you keep trusting the Lord, He will favour you and elevate you to heights beyond your imagination.you just have to be strong the Lord is you and your family okay 🙏🙏🙏 well where are you located??
That last verse....... An incredible song. After working in an Alzheimer's unit for 19 years, and having two family members who had memory loss, one of whom knew the LORD, that last verse is truly a comfort. A sad disease, but it can't wipe out the memory of JESUS
