Back in 1986 is wasn't corny at all !!!!! It filled your heart and soul with pride. Super Bowl CHAMPS giving back to the fans ! It gave me goose bumps then and gives me goose bumps now. There are some of our best players in that group. Do you know who they are? The BEST ! Hail To The Yeah !
Back in the '80s when no one got offended and there was no such thing as WOKE it's crazy how this team was one of the highest selling merchandising teams of all the NFL because of the mascot in the logo all the people who did not purchase tickets to games or buy merchandise or support the team in any way or the ones that say they were offended I say screw them and bring back the Redskins name!
Featured Redskins: Jeff Bostic, Todd Bowles, Shawn Burks, Gary Clark, Ken Coffey, Monte Coleman, Steve Cox, Vernon Dean, Clint Didier, Darryl Grant, Darrell Green, Keith Griffin, Russ Grimm, Derek Holloway, Joe Jacoby, Anthony Jones, Mel Kaufman, Dexter Manley, Charles Mann, Dan McQuaid, Rich Milot, Art Monk, Tim Morrison, Terry Orr, George Rogers, Alvin Walton, Don Warren, Barry Wilburn, Doug Williams, Ken Jenkins, Max Zendajas. Music Video : The exciting '86 Redskin Players; NFL Footage;
Wow... I should've been a Bears fan for life, as I live a coupla hours south of Chi-town and even had a record (that's vinyl, y'all) of their Superbowl Shuffle when they won their only championship of the modern era; HOWEVER, I was allowed to "gamble" the next year (at the mature age of 7), and I "put" $5 against my grandpa on the 'Skins vs. Elway and the Broncos... The 'Skins won, I got $5 I never had, and I became a 'Skins fan for life... Yes, the past 20 years or so have been like watching a 4-month train wreck; we've had a bunch of WTF since the days of Art Monk and Mark Rypien, and it's a damn shame that RG3 ain't the answer... I believe he could've been if they'd let him play like he could (i.e. let him go Vick on mo'fo's), but I'm not a 'Skins coach and therefore can't tell anyone that RG3 NEVER WAS A POCKET-STYLE QB... Why the hell they saw him as such is beyond me, but best of luck to KC1 and the rest of'em... Anyway, got feels of the Bears' shuffle here, and good to see that the 'Skins had a similar deal; this may be less-known, but it led to thrice as many Superbowl championships!
The Washington Redskins pay tribute to their fans, the 12th man, for fifty years of support. They have combined their talents in this video and are proud that a substantial portion of the revenues are donated to the National Challenge Committee on Disability. Challenge brings together people, organizations and events in support of the movement toward independence by persons with disability.
Joe Theisman giving his speech before '83 Superbowl. "Nobody can beat us in (something) and it's worth $70,000 and a big ring!" 2:58 Guess Joe really needed the money.

I hope you refused to support the “commanders.”

As a redskins fan, I am embarrassed of this.
Why? It was all in good fun. You need to stop pretending you are cool. You’re not.
