Him also saying she didnt resist last night its like eww ( even rape victims dont fight throughout their ordeal). Ive seen a few good ones where she was clearly consenting or not resisting ( the director prob did a good job and actress). this one was too much of the old trope no means yes? ML having his way... Its hard watch. Ive prob missed a lot as had to FW a few scenes *love actor and actress

This is a very nice drama, as usual, both leads did an amazing job. This Ml I can watch anything he is in Ml's mom and her (not sure what to say, except WOW. The way the two of them fought for other love was really admirable. Guys no drugging, no attempted rape, no family abuse.

But the age gap doesn't make sense, if he is 30 now then he would have been 23 when he fell in love with 16 yo her but they both were not adult at that time. The makers really miscalculated the timeline.

That's Chinese mini-drama. There's nothing wrong with her marrying her step uncle. There's no blood relation and they knew each other before the sister and dad hooked up. ML explained the two green teas. Did the step mother break up the 'happy' family? And seems to me it wasn't all that 'happy' to begin with. How original mom deals with the breakup is not the dad's fault or anyone else's. She's responsible for her own response to the marriage breaking up.

The issues this family has over their relationship isn't really a big deal, in all honesty. Because of the fact that they are not related in any shape or form, there is nothing remotely like incest or any other negatives connotations about it. These people are overreacting to an extreme but I digress because I am aware that it is considered "taboo" in some cultures in spite of the fact they are, in reality, from two different unrelated families that just happen to merge by marriage. Just my two cents.

I have seen at least 2 dramas of Wang YiRan that is sweet, protective and understanding. It's the one where he's a pilot and the other where he's a professor slash hidden heir to a conglomerate. Found both dramas here on TH-cam. 😊
If I didn’t like the two actors, I couldn’t watch this. It is a rough drama. Still, it is acted very well. If you can get through the first part, it is worth watching.

I don’t know I have dire feeling for this ML, most of his dramas are filled with abuse, rape, forced sex and many more.
And his selection of scripts are always very male dominant ones.
I have never seen him giving any sense of security to the woman he loves in his dramas
As an actor he is good but in dramas, he plays vulgar characters
I have seen at least 2 dramas of Wang YiRan that is sweet, protective and understanding. It's the one where he's a pilot and the other where he's a professor slash hidden heir to a conglomerate. Found both dramas here on TH-cam. 😊

Bro they act like she is her real niece the've known each other way before FL father started to hook up with ML sister , so according to ML mother standard it is ok for her daughter to date and married an older man who cheat on his wife divorced and abandoned her in fragile mental health state but it is a sin for ML and FL who are single and no blodd related to be together 😂😂😂
The hysterics shown by the ML's mother made her look like a crazy old woman who doesn't make sense. The girl is very kind, she can still smile and respect the woman who destroyed her family, and made her mother suffer from mental illness. The old woman should be grateful that the girl didn't throw dirt on her daughter's face.

Honestly, the CP are the true villians of this story. Like, I'm sorry but their relationship has changed and even if they arent blood related, its still weird and the mom and everyone is right.
The true villains was the FLs father and MLs sister. They had an affair and the leads were in young love. It was the betrayal by them that convoluted the relationship. I wish they had addressed that more.

Again, what is it with smoking MLs all of a sudden? Did the Chinese suddenly think it's cool? Good drama because it mostly focused on FL/ML's relationship. Yeah, we had a couple green teas, but they were pretty harmless and didn't get much screen time. Of course, ML's ma had to do the Fred Sanford routine and clutch her heart when ML/FL refused to end their relationship. Glad to see timid FL finally stand up for her own happiness instead of letting 'the elders' browbeat her into submission. There's no blood relation and it's not fair to FL/ML who knew each other first just bc FL's dad and ML's sister jumped the gun and got married. Honestly, what did ML's sister see in FL's dad???? I could understand if he were a good-looking older guy, but this guy wasn't. Loved how ML didn't let anyone push him around and he outsmarted mom a long time ago! 😂

This was like a bad train wreck I could not look away from. I really had to see it through to the end. This made me very uncomfortable tho with all the rapey undertones it had with the forceful kissing scenes and the sexual scenes and the fact that he is 30 and she is 23 and he has liked her for 7 years so when she was 16 and he was her age 23.
