- After having called it a day due to his ongoing battle with a flu virus, Baz heads back out to pull the two fleets he missed the day before and pull the four fleets he did managed to bait up and reshoot.
There was a bit of excitement when the Dunbar Lifeboat and the HM Coastguard helicopter were spotted conducting an exercise just off the coast and Baz went for a scramble on the harbour wall to recover his lost fender that had lodged itself in amongst the rocks.

Another great video Baz, don't worry about the accent mate, I am a good old Norfolk boy and I understand ok. I love the sound of Helicopters as well and was a member of our local Coastguard team and when in training had the privilege of being winched up in both Wessex and Sea Kings, the Wessex was fun as they shook like hell and you could see all the control cables working inside. I'm comforted that you really are human. Going out to sea in minimal clothes impressed me and the stamina of a Scottish fisherman; but then you get the flu! A tiny little virus, flu or Covid is a very humbling message from nature!.. Best of good fortune this coming year and the 5 yr survey (we all love those).

Gday mate good to see you on the mend ,you never said how many you got total but 4 is better than none . i still get excited at the sound of a helicopter i flew in the now defunct huey uh1h that was used in vietnam first intro to helicopters at 22 on a lighter note when i joined the army at 21 you were 6 years old how old am i now take care mate .

That James is a " day signal"
It's used to warn other water users that I'm a fishing boat, and I'm actively fishing.
In the old days, the fishermen used to put a prawn/ fish basket on their mast to show other water users of their activities, but alas, that didn't please the office workers and with one stroke of a pen all that tradition was lost 😢 😞 🙄🙈 to the double ended cone we have today.
