My wife (Gordana) who was born in Serbia and I (we now live in Texas) went to Sokobanji last October and found it beautiful & relaxing. We were disappointed to find no hot mineral baths in the hotel which we stayed (the alternate hotel was booked which had them). There are plentiful parks to walk along the river and in the hills and the food was delicious. We are heading back this summer in late July for 8 weeks. I'm learning more and more how to speak Serbian each time I go back.
