In my head canon the hunter discovered material that has a volatile response to sound waves and they crafted weapons out of it. They use monster parts to channel ki through the material but largely ja a sound sensitive element. So when they bash the monster then do an aggressive solo what they're doing is stabbing the monster with an anchor of that material and then aggravating it with loud sound causing heavy damage to the monster.
@@gaijinhideout Yeah, we already know that the way they channel the elemental energy is through ki (or a form of it) that's shown through the spirit gauge and demon mode. The idea that the monsters bodies all carry with them a primal elemental ki which can be channeled using the wielders ki is basically what I imagine. It stands to reason that an element that can use sound to channel that ki could be manipulated in all sorts of ways.
So it wasn’t shown but at 10:51 this solo move lets you input 5 buttons/notes during each head bang, and if you time it right it does more damage and of course you line up 5 notes very quickly. You play guitar hero, basically. Horn is getting a whooole lot of love after 20 years
At least HBG has been hilariously busted for almost as long as it's existed in the game lol 😂 it'll be ok. For some reason I've noticed that no matter how strong the guns get, they don't see super high usage. Maybe people just like the weapons with fuller movesets more than gunner style gameplay?
SWAX is easy to use, satisfying to use especially the Zero Sum Discharge, stabbing the big sword to the face on monsters and saying "GIVE ME THAT NECK" while doing the ZSD xD

@@Youtubian392 nice, that makes it sound way cooler

@@Youtubian392 oh that's a good point. yeah seems plausible. theyve never commented on that aspect of the lore officially?
@@gaijinhideout negative unfortunately.
@@Youtubian392 oh wow, that seems notable enough to have included some information somewhere. maybe they havent decided on the lore details yet lol

My top 2 picks that I'm super hyped for are not super popular 😅
HBG and SNS 😂
I just tried SNS on stream this week, it was a natural fit for me!
