I love when I see the older models! The best 690 ever made I’ve got 14 had it for 4 years, I had the sm 2007 for couple years as well what lovely bikes man! Great video!
the older models sound so much better than the new ones. the 1st gen sounded the best. I had a 2004 640 e with a leo vince. was loud as fuck but good. a 2006 640 sm with dual akras. mate, was beautiful. Now i have a stock gasgas 700 2023 and it sounds like shit.
Probably all the restrictions lads and how lean it is. And efi and no pumper carb. If I could put a fcr on a new one I'd be happy. Feels like the throttles set for high rpm yet the bikes made for low a mid.
@@MrEnduroVlogs yeh you are absolutely right, seriously. I’ve totally forgot how far we’ve come and how many restrictions are needed to actually have these bikes put in market and ect. How can I forget aha I love older bikes just feels like better quality to me. My old 1998 Honda hornet never missed a beat I’ve seen new bikes die out for no apparent reason most likely suffocation to the engines it self.

Totally agree! My mate has 2024 version, sucks a**, dunno wtf happened there. Thanks for watching :)
Bro im trying to figure why the latest models don’t sound as crispy as the olders ones. Maybe the balancing shaft?
