Lyrics:
Tell me just what you want me to be
One kiss and boom you're the only one for me
So please tell me why don't you come around no more
Cause right now I'm crying outside the door of your candy store
It just takes a little bit of this
A little bit of that
It started with a kiss
Now we're up to bat
A little bit of laughs
A little bit of pain
I'm telling you, my babe
It's all in the game of love - เพลง

I listened recently I haven’t listened it for more than 15 years, now it’s on my mind everyday.

Me, 2024 and until the end of time!
Ain’t heard this in years. Who’s here in 2024?
me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@user-hl2xq9gl3l And ME!!!!! Simply one of the best tracks ever recorded, not over-produced, just two of the best. A regular track in the car for long journeys, keeps me going for the run from Scotland to Kent and back every couple of days.
Never gets old!
It popped in my head. I can't stop singing it now.
just heard it on the radio during a trip home. this song just doesn't get enough play. up here its winter, and this song just sounds like summer.
Its already May in 2024. Who still listening this song?
I am 58 years old and still rockin with this music still today. Totally love it! Love it when it first came out and still cant get enough of it!
Oh yes June 2nd
It is amazing that Michelle Branch's vocals flow with Santana's guitar. One of my favorite rifts still now in 2024. Who's with me on this!!
That song still melts my heart since the day it came out😍😍 What a duo those 2
I wish they'd recorded a full album together, they'd make excellent collaborators as they clearly have a lot of musical chemistry. And like you said, her voice and his guitar combine to form an irresistible blend of silky smoothness. Awesome duo.
amen to that
Michelle Branch kinda looks like Olivia Rodrigo now back then
I definitely agree
Who is listenning in 2023? Such a track!
One of the greatest tracks of all time
I'm listening now and tomorrow
Yes!!!In Brasil!!!
The best!!
Man, I'm since 2011 looking for this tune. I finally found it!
I love the fact that these two got a Grammy for this song. They so deserved it!!
Wow, both of them got a Grammy.
A worthy appreciation for their talents
Gregg Alexander wrote this song and got the Grammy for it.
and if i'm not wrong, carlo and michelle meet for the frist time when they made this video, all did]t she lipsic this song on natiaol TV?
Actually this song is not the original, is originally from New Radicals
@@kelvynmartinez4261 Kinda. He wrote it, but it was never officially released but still got credit for writing it.
I don't know about the hate on Santana.but I was born I 62 and he's always been a spiritual influence among us Mexican Americans.Paved the way for many.
Even successfully made playing electric guitar in Mexican music work and sound good!
THIS SONG IS TIMELESS. Her voice, the guitar, the musicians all make this an amazing song.
Santana some call him !
You don't exaggerated, there was so much better, in the World of the Music, Santana wrote and makes solo with guitar so much better, Cheers.
One of my best choices for a singing to dancing to having fun song ❤
Thank you Gregg Alexander for writing this gem of a tune. And to Carlos and Michelle for bringing it to life.
It has that 70’s feel to it just like ‘You get what you give’
I think that’s why this song (and “You Get What You Give”) is among the few songs from the last 35 years that I actually like.
I love Gregg Alexander’s musical genius ❤

Carlos Santana is a legend. Michelle Branch is a creator. Best song when we need to remember to care about each other. All in the game of love.
Love others the same as you love yourself. Right?

Carlos Santana plays with such passion. That's the sound of his soul.
It's all about soul
Just makes u wanna dance from the soul
I am sometimes called Carlos Santana when my friend Rasmus says hello to me or writes to me
Today is September 23, 2022 and this song is 20 years old today!
A great collaboration between Santana and Michelle Branch which came about because Tina Turner didnt want to do a video..
A 19 year old, Michelle, gets a call to fill in and sings her heart out with perfect symmetry to Santana's Riveting guitar...and what you get is Wow!!!!
May God Bless you All, and May you all win .....The Game Of Love!
No shit?
Best ever!
Filmed in Chicago
Wow i did not know that.. and I was wondering if that was Chicago. Simply beautiful
It really brings back memories of going with my mom to the mall 🥲

This one and "Smooth" are iconic collaborations. "Maria" too.
"I'm Feeling You" as well, and "Into The Night"
You have to listen to "Everything's coming our way"🙏
Hell yeah, I honestly think this one should've been Album of the year like the one that had Smooth... that summer Smooth was all over every damn radio station and I don't remember being in a single damn car where they didn't crank that shit up to 11!! It was so spot on as well as Maria Maria too!!
Dont forget " why dont you and i" guys
Alex band or chad kruger version both are very good
Damn I'd give anything to go back to 2002.

2002 me hace recordar El colegio
Michelle Branch was 19 when this song and video came out...Of her young age, Santana said "She has an old soul"
thank you- he would know too. She has emotive and dynamic music style.
Woooow they were already awakened . Blessings to all. Thanks for this comment. 🙏💙💞💥
Age of music. Someone know?
The only thing Santana should be thanked for is giving us the founding musicians of Journey. He’s the most overrated guitar player ever.
@tom now she's 37 yo. is she?
Michelle Branch is one of the most underrated musicians of all time.
What's happening with her? Great voice, great face.
Yes she is
She is one of the most underrated singers/musicians of all time. I don't know if she still sings or not but I remember back in the early 2000s when she was popular for a little while then everyone just stopped talking about her. She is a very talented singer.
Not underrated at all…
She strums simple chords on a guitar. Even _I_ can do that!
2002 Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals!
I heard Tina Turner, Gregg Alexander and Macy Gray version of this song and THANK GOD they chose Michelle Branch, this song is so perfect with her voice.
What I love about Santana , he is so connected to his hippie roots.

+Colonel Dav I dont know maybe Mr. Dong has a point.
Yes .. No .. Well, he's like Zonker with a guitar. Except that even Zonker draws the line at needless mysticism and related flightiness.

"The most valuable possession you can own is an open heart. The most powerful weapon you can be is an instrument of peace." - Carlos Santana
Santana has forgotten more than most guitar players know.
Listening in 2024, awesome track
People hate on Santana because he's a blues guitarist but this was the song for me that woke me up to his masterful playing. His guitar was singing in a duet with Michelle. Not many guitarists can do what he does. Respect , will love this song all my life.
People hate santana?
Generally most people love his music but, as of late there have been people throwing shade at him.
Brandon Robinson who in the heck hates on Santana
Many in this young generation like to talk bad about the master.
He's not a blues guitarist
LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. Way better than today's music. I was like 12 or 13 when this came out. Great memories

@@hawaiianparadise3084 so true. No emotion
This is one of the songs that came out when I was in the middle of High School, and I would hear so much on the radio that I would get sick of it. Then I heard it today at work and it made me think of how simple everything was back then. It makes me miss a lot of these songs that I didn't care for back then.

Old songs is better than the new songs right now.
Agreed
The soul is completely gone. I think that's what's wrong with the music today. Oldie but goodie is what I call them, a song like this..they make me feel good inside. This music really moves something. 💜
Preach
Without a doubt
True!
I am going to see santana this summer
I hope he has a good singer for this
Peace & Life Everlasting with Jesus ❤️
Pray for guidance and wait Patiently ❤️
Michelle is a such a great singer. Carlos killed it on that solo! Perfect song
The problem is that each and every musician who performs with Santana is upstaged by his mastery.
agreed
Santana 's brilliance brings out the best in whoever is performing with him.
BECAUSE HE IS A STAR AND HIS AURA IS SO BRIGHT...
gwd109 - important part of that mastery is he collaborated with the best since younger days onward and promoted upcoming talent in many ways because he's an "old soul," more wise than most.
ask each of them, bet they would all say "no problem Carlos you go for it"
I’m listening to it today in the year 2024 and this song is still so beautiful and good. I remember hearing this song when I was a kid back in 2005. I was about 11 or 12 years old when first heard this song I was in the 5th grade and I enjoyed it than and I’m still enjoying it now a days and I am now in my early thirties. This song doesn’t age.
I agree with you, this song never gets old, I'm 67 and grew up with Santana. He has so much music but this is one of the best and I have fallen in love with Michelle's voice. So even though you are only in your early thirties you will still love it when you get to my age! Something to look forward too!! Wish you the best!
What a great collaboration, Santana is my best on Strings.
Another great song that didn't get a lot of exposure from ~2003-2004. Although it's Santana's song... I mostly think of this as a Michelle Branch song.
***** Have you heard any of his demos? They're, in my opinion, just as amazing as any New Radicals song. The only problem would be the sound quality, but still, Gregg is amazing and so were New Radicals, which was a band consisting mostly of him and guests.
Agreed!
are you kiddin!? they played the hell out of this song!!
GlennCocoGuitar They did? Well where the hell do you live then? Because really....they didn't! Like seriously didn't! Santanas song with Rob Thomas, "Smooth" was played all to hell, the moon, Mars and back compared to this. Sorry, but true and I'm right. haha
***** I'm from Portugal. I was quite young and I remember both of those songs being played a LOT. :)
One of the coolest songs from the 00's.
Santana in the guitar, Michelle in the mic, and Gregg Alexander in the pencil and behind de board.
Awesome song great vocals and Santana's guitar is the icing on the cake
Its a cover

Santana has a knack for picking out really talented singers that seems to fit a peticular song
The funny thing is that Michelle was the third singer they got for this song. Santana originally wanted Tina Turner or Macy Gray to sing it. They were both uncomfortable with the circumstances yet it ended up being the best version!
Actually it seemed that the talented bunch of young people sought out Carlos. The result was magic!
music label made him use Branch, he wanted Tina Turner, and he eventually released this song with her instead.
Tina's version is god awful.
