I always enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for all of the information. I plan to visit Thailand in 2 years and then move permanently in 2030. I am a lesbian and I want to know, is there a way to meet other lesbian Thai woman online while I am in the U.S.?
I’ve only dated one Thai woman I met here working in 2009 when she was a 19 year old college intern. Celebrating 15 years together and 13 happy years of marriage. Never seen her raise her voice or get upset in all those years. Takes great care of me and I reciprocate. I think living in the U.S. for 11 years before moving back here really helped her understand our western culture. It also helped that she’s college educated with a business and finance degree and was fluent in English when we first met. Now after all these years of thinking she couldn’t conceive, we are expecting a daughter in July! A dad again at 64. 32 year age difference and it’s made no difference whatsoever over the years. Their paradigm of money is a bit different and you do need to educate them a bit on that, but it’s not really ever been a point of contention for us. I’m fortunate to be very well off financially and her wants have always been very basic. I do help her family from time to time. But I also took their college educated daughter out of the workforce as I don’t expect her to work. It took a lot for her family to send her to college so if you’re going to take their daughter away along with her income, of course you need to compensate for that in this culture. I take pride in providing well for my entire family. To me it’s what makes us valuable to a good woman and she will love you for it. That’s not just a Thai thing. Joy you are very beautiful! You’re being too humble. You’re a lucky guy Randy! I think you know that though!
You’re a cute couple and we can tell you are open and honest with each other which is so important if you want a lasting relationship. It’s so informative to hear a Thai lady’s perspective since it is rare on TH-cam. I’ll be looking forward to your next video.
Well done! You both handled a potentially difficult and sensitive subject with information and dignity. Tough to do and you did it humor and real world experience. Top!
Great video. Randy you’re very fortunate in meeting Joy. I plan on moving to S.E. Asia in a couple of years, maybe I will be lucky enough to meet someone like her.
Hi Joy and Randy. About 3 weeks ago I posted a long comment about this topic and I don't want to repeat myself here again. Suffice to say that in this video Joy made excellent explanations about expectations of Thai women in a mixed relationships. She was spot on and very sincere. Emotions are more important than money and at the same time you got to cover essentials. She said food on the table, which is particularly appropriate to Thais as their main pleasure relates to food . I have to add something about the provision of financial support which is essentially a cultural trait . In Thailand ,generally speaking the men are the breadwinners. The women are domestic managers . This is a couple arrangement which works well if everything aligns in other respects . One problem could crop up between the two parties if for whatever reason the man begins to feel he is taken advantage of or taken for granted . Usually this is expressed as being a walking ATM. Somehow this needs to be sorted out early in the relationship so when needs crop up for support, be it for her or her family , limits are set with some leeways. Many ,many times pressures are on daughters by the extended family for more support and she'll feel like the meat in the sandwich. She'll have conflicting loyalty issues . In a second marriage with a foreign guy she will probably have a pecking order where parents and any children she has maybe ahead of the husband . No by choice but by customs and pressures . In my opinion the foreign husband should make it clear to the Thai wife and through her,to her family , the perimeters of the financial help he is able to provide . This would head off any excessive expectations of the Thai partner and her family . Thais see Western men as rich, or in any case , hope so . The concept of rich depends what you're used to. It varies among Thais. Obviously it varies among us too and we tend to be more cautious in finances than Thais . There is a very bad domestic debt crisis in Thailand whereby people are owing a lot of money due to bad financial management . Before you make a commitment to a Thai lady you should find out her financial situation. Joy also made a very good point about what kind of men are preferred. Not "butterflies". They already had Thai men who cheated and abandoned them. They don't want a repeat experience . There is a lot more to a successful mixed relationship with different cultures . The ability to be tolerant , compromising and adapting will help . From both partners . The idea that you should abandon your culture in favour of hers because you live in Thailand is not fair. It should be a mutual meeting of cultures where both partners still maintain their essential traits. After all that's why you were attracted to each other.
Wow. I've told you before I think, you should be doing these videos instead of me, 555. You are much more insightful. As always, Tom, incredibly articulate comment, and very helpful to those who read it. I'm going to steal your "sandwich" line about how a Thai woman can feel with conflicting obligations and loyalties, between family and husband, with some families.
Yes, he is very insightful on Thai culture I have found. And I appreciate his comments above. And your video and joy... You did a good job the two of you.
Hello Tom, this is an a good channel happy I found. As you know I never experienced most of what you say however very aware it exists. The few Thai women I have known their family is more concerned about their happiness and wish they find a good partner. Just serendipity of whom I have met and always appreciate your views so I understand the lay of the land surrounding me. For my health and simpke life we are looking at the Ban Krut area to live. Wish you are doing well avoiding that cremation urn. Take care 🙏
@@smileoften-ft3hq if it's Ban Krut ,south of Hua Hin,it looks good. Away from the tourism area and serene with Beach and Mountain and Big Buddha to practice Vipassana . Should be healthy for body and mind . Go for it .👍
I'm an old single guy moving to Chiang Mai in July. Thing is, unlike the stereotype, I am not going looking for a relationship or dating. I won't avoid it, of course, and should I meet a woman I like that would be nice, but if I remain single the rest of my life and enjoying the Thai culture and all it offers, well that's nice too. Not a girl bar kind of guy, so that definitely doesn't apply to me. Thanks for this, I'll definitely keep it all in mind should I meet a woman I like.
If you plan to enjoy the Thai culture, I hope you get used to being xenophobic. There are many dark sides to Thai culture for which few westerners really know. You might want to read articles from Thais who have been exiled from Thailand for speaking the truth.
Your the kind of "old guy" that I find inspirational. Go for peace of mind and enjoyment but also open minded should she find you. Good luck on your travels sir. I'll be a year behind you. (BTW, what are your plans for the burning season? I'm quite worried about that as i don't think I could tolerate it).
Great content & looking forward to part 2. You both are naturals in front of the camera. Honesty, love, generosity & commitment are all part of a harmonious relationship. So happy you have found each other🙏👍
I love you both for the thoughtfulness and goodwill contained in your videos. Thank you. There's always something to learn and think about in them. From a soon to be retiree in the kingdom
As usual very informative. I have been with my Thai partner for 4 years. She is 35 and I am 61. We are both very happy and have a very loving relationship. What you say is spot on.
That was one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. Having your girlfriend give her Thai thoughts was gold! I can’t wait for the next vid. BTW, after a horrible divorce; I have been in Thailand and for 2 years and didn’t date. But, I’d love to find a real Thai woman like your girlfriend! Gives one hope.
What a brilliant video! My brother lives in Hua hin and I'm communicating with a couple of girls on a dating platform...This has laid some of my fears to rest..
Great Lee. Hua Hin is a nice place btw. Joy and I did a vide of our visit there. Good luck in your dating. Did you see my "Freelancers VS nice girlfriend video? Some helpful stuff in there too. Best wishes!
Great video. I’m looking forward the next ones. I met my wife in Chiang Mai and she came back to the US with me. We will retire there in about 5 years.
Randy and Joy, have you ever read the book "Thailand Fever" (roadmap for Thai-Western Relationships)? If so, do you find it accurate? I found it after I returned home. I also bought a copy for my Thai GF because the left side of the book is written in English, and the right side is written in Thai. It's good to have the same information in the native language. You and Joy could write an updated book in a simular fashion. I would buy it!
Nothing is more beautiful to me than gorgeous morena skin, almond shaped eyes and the soft pleasant personality of most SE Asian women. I have been to Thailand 30 times since 2005 and I never get tired of listening to a Thai woman speak Thai (but not the way Joy did when she was the angry girlfriend).
That was fantastic, thank you for your honest and refreshing insight Joy. I look forward to your next video. I have many, many Thai friends and they never give such insights, but that ไม่เป็นไร.
I am coming back to Thailand this week for 3 months .I was there only 7 weeks ago where I met a lady who was a bar girl. we spent 4 weeks together and have been talking every day whilst I am back in Australia so she is waiting for my return. She has gone back to her family in Korat while I have been home .So I am going back to see where the relationship is going to go so your video was fantastic it gave me a insight into what Im in for. We are the age so it hit home. Thanks Dave
Thanks, David. It is a tough call with bar girls. Many likely come from villages and/or poor families and they do the work they can, and many send support to families. But the Pretty Woman scenario that is imbedded in many of us westerners can be illusive. I've heard of guys who have created real relationships with bar girls - and bar girls come in many levels of professionalism in what services they provide and how often and to how many - but for many men and women from that world it can be a tough road ahead. When relationships start with money, it can be hard to turn into a real lasting and healthy relationship. Trying to me helpful and hope I am not coming across as offensive. Good luck to you and if this does not work out, try meeting normal Thai women: the nurse you meet at the hospital, the clerk in a store...
You two produce such perceptive and informative videos. As a recently widowed, older Englishman planning to live in Chiang Mai (except during the burning season!) your content is a hugely valuable addition to my own experience staying there for 2 months earlier this year.
Great video! I am an American woman in my 50s who lived in Chiang Mai for many years. I think your video was accurate and realistic. I have many farang male friends happily partnered with Thai women. Joy, you are very smart and funny! The two of you are a great couple! I moved back to the U.S. in 2017 for love, and we plan to move to Chiang Mai in the next few years.
Where have you been!!?? We have missed you!!! I guess that's an indication of just how much we have come to enjoy all of your content. And BTW, thanks for mentioning LGB relationships... most content creators fail to mention the tricky ( and often dangerous/"illegal") aspects of simply living our lives in most SEA countries. As always, will eagerly await your next video. Ciao!
I am Thai and more attracted to western men. I met my husband when I was 24 and he was 27. He was a young engineer and I was an international student in MBA program. He works as an engineer and I works in financial sales. We are both very financially independent but still share the same checking and saving account. I make more money than my white husband but that does not matter to me. We got two kids and been married for 23 years. I personally won’t get married with much older man that is just my things and please don’t take it personally. The most important thing is if each individual can be independent financially then no one can judge or say anything about you. It depends on family too. Sometimes, wife will just have to stay home to raise kids. So whatever it works for your family. I would not care what other people think. Just live your life .. lol .. they are not paying your bills. We live in the US and I can’t work in Thailand anymore. I am too westernized with a freedom of speech mindset ✌️ Although, it does hurt to hear people in the US said Thai girl married western guys for the sake of money. That is not always the case. So I show them the example of my marriage. I understand things people see and talk about but I just don’t want people to generalize that everybody is the same. ✌️
Thanks for this perspective. I am living in the USA with my Thai wife of 17 years. We have been in the US for 10 years. We are returning to Thailand full time this summer. My wife and two step daughters have their US citizenship giving them more options in life.
Hi Randy and Joy, another interesting video, just a cheeky question are there bars in Chiang Mai popular with nurses.? I am very fragile from previous experience over the last 9 yrs but on my next visit which is really more about learning about Chiang Mai for my retirement but would be nice to have friends and company for meals and drinks
Omg...so funny video😂 i was in TH in Feb. Had a blast. Retiring next yr and will visit for a few months. Scuba diving and friendly culture were big draws for me
Cannot say how much I loved the opening! Hilarious with you doing your Falang Thai bit and Joy doing the ‘stereotypical’ Thai woman bit. Informative sure but as always greatly entertaining with a positive vibe 😄
really intelligent and sincere video, from a very pleasant couple. i have spent 40+ years in and around asia. your words apply to other cultures too, as you said. i would say that, in a broad brush, modern-era western women proceed from a feeling of entitlement whereas asian women proceed from responsibility. thank you, you deserve way more subscribers.
Great video as always! Always a pleasure so see a new video from the both of you! Next year I come to retire in the land of smiles. So your videos are very welcome. Thanks!
This is just awesome content you don't see anywhere else. Like you said, all the other channels just talk about all the horror stories. Granted, there's some truth to it, but it's good to know that it's possible to find and date real Thai women as well and build something that's genuine.
I moved to Thailand after my wife of 58 years passed away. Was not looking for a serious relationship, but one happened. Have been with my loving Thai wife for six years and could not be happier.
Nice to see more of Joy in your video......Good video......If you do the next video with the subject matter you indicated......you may move from a travel channel to a dating "How To" TH-cam channel.......Smile......Keep on doing what you are doing and we'll see how your channel evolves......
Hi It’s all about communication that’s why relationships fail you cannot build a solid base without communication and understanding so you are a very lucky couple thank for the video
Hey Joy and Randy !! I just found your TH-cam channel today and subscribed. Your love and complicity is so beautifull and so evident !! It's a pleasure to see that. What's more, as I'm a french man, I practice my english thanks to you. I'll come to thaïland at the end of june for a month, and I'm impatient to be there !! Thanks for your full of joy videos, it's so inspiring for me.
Vous etes tres gentil. Je vous merci. I love France and lived a year in Nice in my early 20s and was an English teacher, and I visit there and Paris often until 7 years go when I stitched to Chiang Mai, originally because my daughter moved there. I love speaking French, or trying to anyway. Thanks for your very nice comments. Joy and I swnd our thanks. Maybe bump into you in town in June...
Great interview and conversation. We can see you are a well-connected couple. My insight is that the foreigners who fail or complain it’s just a transactional relationship search their partners at the wrong place or come to Thailand mainly to have fun, but fall in love with the wrong type of girl. You have a better chance of having a great relationship in Thailand when you come with a long-term mindset and take the actions needed.
Hey guys great vidio and interesting subject just returned from a month trip to Thailand very enjoyable. Loved the fact that you can enjoy the company of women with no strings attached. This is perfect for me as just want to have a good time whilst travelling and for the girls its a financial arrangement that they are happy with. Looking forward to your next vidio about the subject. Thanks
Damn interesting and great perspectives. Your focus was on dating, but one aspect not stated was marriage. Does Joy and other Thai girls consider marriage the goal and not just a long term relationship?
I want to commend the both of you for having the confidence in your relationship to make this vide. You were lucky to meet ,you seem to make make a great team. Now I know why you have the time to respond sometimes to my comments as you don't have enough followers on youtube. Still here following you from France.
Hello Randy and Joy. That was a great video and covered many of the things westerners think about and Joy covered the things that thai women have on their minds. It was covered in an instructional way and no one felt put off with your comments. And fellas you might find some bad thai ladies, but don't give up. I found bad, but I met my own good lady named Joy 😊.
loved to see Joy taking the lead in this one. Joy, you are a beautiful woman, do not doubt yourself. interesting content. look forrward to the next one
A well made video & enjoyed watching this. I met my gf online as you know December 21. I visited her in bkk October 22 for 2 weeks .. then it was great and we got on well & better , I rolled the dice & as I said before , got off the ‘hamster 🐹 on a wheel ‘ & moved here March 23.. so far so good. She knows the score with money. I help her for sure financially but not extravagantly , I told her from the outset I am not a money tree. She enjoys working & earns modestly but contributes a fair bit , we are pretty happy so far .. 🙏
@@RetiredGlobalLife yep agreed. Thank you 🙏, Knowing where the land lies is crucial , I’m kind hearted , generous but sensible & no fool , love can be blind they say but .. 😀
Question for Joy - I started an online friendship with a woman from Chiang Mai. She speaks little English but not much, so our conversations are not deep. It’s been several months, we say hello and good night almost every day. She’s started saying “I love you” and “I miss you”. I’m confused about what she means. We’ve never been together although I plan to visit in January. Can you help me interpret what she’s saying? Thank you.
Joy says: You are her hope and her future, so she wants to motivate you to come. But feelings of love can't really be stated until you meet in person. I will add that this is not uncommon in Thailand so move slowly.
Started watching you guys a few months ago & your communication skills are excellent and I enjoy your content, I visit Thailand every year and can see myself settling there, perhaps with a nice Thai lady, not to young, best wishes. Graham UK
Joy is a beautiful woman; you’re a lucky guy 👍 I think the hard part for a westerner is meeting a woman who isn’t a bar girl. Whereas a western guy hears that the man is expected to support the woman’s family.
Thanks for Joy's compliment. Not hard to meet a non-bar girl if you spend time here with Thais and not just with westerners. Just living a normal life...
Hello folks. You look like a great couple. There are too many negative stories on the internet about bad relations between Thai women and western men. We need more positive relationship stories. I have a wonderful partner in Mae rim and feel very fortunate being with her in an exciting city and truly amazing culture. Cheers.
Great video, my thai wife Jeejee 47 and me an American 70 years .We agree with you guys content 👏 But please.. the no money on hony is true all around the world. If you cant support your "family " you need to stay single.
I am 74, and am a retired single American seriously considering moving to Thailand for the rest of my life. I don't have financial worries but have some illnesses for which I might need specialized care from doctors and hospitals. Can I talk to you or someone else to get a better understanding of my options? I would like to make my move before the end of 2024. Many thanks for creating honest and interesting videos!
Sounds like the key for you is health care, which is truly excellent and affordable, but also insurance, which is not really viable re pre-existing conditions and getting to your age. In my Why We Leave there is a excellent ins agent listed you can contact to get a real view. There is excellent care facilities, quite affordable, for you to check out for down the road. Or some just hire a live in woman to cook, clean and care for you.
@@RetiredGlobalLife Can you give me the contact info of the insurance agent and I will contact them? As you said, insurance may not be a viable option for me and if so, I will self-insure. I just want to "escape" the toxic environment in USA!. As to live in helpers, are they available easily? Thank you.
I have literally met about 8 Thai women in the last few years, online and in person when I was visiting the Kingdom, none of them are bar girls, not to my knowledge, most of them have jobs or their own businesses but they are still in debt or so they said. I have help most of them out of compassion. I didn’t hear from them once I told them that I wouldn’t send anymore money.. One of them is still texting me to try her luck. I guess perhaps it’s just my misfortune to experience all these bad vibes. It is quite true, no money no honey, to me it is so far. I will visit the Land of Smile again fairly soon. FYI, I’m the VIP in Remitly😂 Lastly, good show, thank you ❤
I believe you. Unfortunately each woman I met in countryside ask what they get to date me before we even get to know each other. I will never date in Thailand. Instead so many available without that attitude in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam. The dating in these countries is much better for me in these countries
I have a Thai girlfriend in Phuket & she's the nicest woman I've ever met. We've been together for 2-1/2 years now & I'm 72& she's 52. She told me after we'd spent some time together that what attracted her to me was that I had respect for her & didn't just want sex. She loves that I open doors, walk nearest to the traffic, etc.We do have some communication problems but nothing major. I don't speak Thai, maybe a few words. Zoey is the same & thinks I'm good looking, I'm not!! She on the other hand is gorgeous!! I'm planning on moving there in a couple of years. She lives next door to her parents & cooks dinner for them almost every night. When I'm there I eat with them often. Thais are just the nicest people!!
@@RetiredGlobalLife Thanks & I'm definitely going to look into the insurance. I have Medicare Priority Health here in Michigan & don't know if they participate. I might have toswitch.
Being an Africa American moving to Thailand you didn't really talk about how Thai women feel about black men? Are they predominantly attracted to white westerners? Very good and informative video. You guys seem like a great couple!
Thanks and good question. Hard to discuss all issues. The blunt answer is that being a westerner of any color seems to be seen as a plus. You are perceived as more worldly, educated and successful. But their odd desire for extreme whiteness seems to mean that they admire the whitest people, even among Thais, the most. Of course, all this is general.
@@RetiredGlobalLife I do understand the whiteness thing in Asian culture as I was married to a Filipina for 7 years. I laughed when you guys talked about it because I know how true it is. Keep up the great work!
I really like your video. I watched a lot of content creators in the past. Acting very disrespextfull. It's simple ...you have bad and good people all over the world. Generalizing is so wrong. This video was wholesome to see. Made with respect and seen from both sides . I wish you the best and now i'll binge watch all your content 😁. Subbed 👍. Ow, before i forget ..i'm 46 and planning to relocate in the future . In februari i'll visit Korat region. Met finally someone online i think is worth the effort of meeting and spending time with. The last 6 months i learned a lot about Thailand. Traditions, culture and so on. I also learned that takling to other people in my country about relocating ...they judge very fast without knowing. I Ignore them. I'll relocate ...if i meet someone or not. But you'll know the saying...happiness is only real when shared😉. The best to you both and greetz from Belgium🙏.
I was just there on vacation in February and can see why most men feel like it is all about the money. Everyone I dealt with was very nice but it does seem like it is more about the money than a relationship. I realize what you are saying about everyone being different, but the hard hurdle I would have is wether they actually care about you or consider it a job and say what you want to hear to keep the job. In America the woman can still be expensive, but usually you have a conscience that you like each other. You just have to watch out for the gold diggers. My feeling is you just roll with a Thai girlfriend and just never know how they really feel about you as long as you are happy. I would be interested to know what both of you think on this topic. Thank you 🙏
Thailand is basically a poor country, so people there have basic needs westerners take for granted. A car is a luxury. You see mainly motorcycles mainly because it is affordable to the average person where a car is not. But I think the key is where you meet someone. I believe the average Thai woman you are not meeting in an "entertainment" venue, has great values, but due to their poor English and westerner lack of Thai, these women are not available to most western men.
I think the Lanna Thai culture in the north might make for a better chance for a match between a westerner and a Thai lady. More of an old school view .
Nice and informative video. The real unknown is the woman's family. Sometimes she is great, but happens to have greed parents or siblings that are always strapped for money, and you end up getting into a problem. You cannot separate a Thai woman from her family. You should never ask her to chose between you and her family. You will lose this battle. So, before you fully commit, do your due diligence as much as possible. Don't ignore red flags. On a light note, be prepare to spend years convincing her that her tan skin is prettier than our pale complexion. 😀
have been to Thailand quite a few times to visit my Aussie friends , most of them are in a happy relationship with a Thai lady . An interesting question was asked to me by their Thai partners . 1. How much do you earn & have you been married ( which I felt ok about answering and I did ) 2. How much money do you have in the bank ? - this question I was reluctant to answer , basically I felt that I was “ dropping my pants “ and being totally exposed - without not even met a lady & had any time or connection with Thanks Joy & Randy
That seems an odd question, yes. But I find Asian culture different. They talk of how much they paid for their houses, money details, as if to brad about their status, while we westerners consider it rude ask or brag about such things.
@@RetiredGlobalLife Morning Randy Thanks for the reply Certainly a culture thing - I’m not offended , we are all learning , but of course we need that little spark to start off and a connection - Happy Thursday to you both 👋👍🙏
Thank you so much for making this video and touching on the subject of skin color that most people are uncomfortable talking about. As an US American, skin color has been a part of the history of my country. What I have always understood is that it has been used as a caste system to maintain a hierarchy of status and wealth. There's a NY Times best seller written by Pulitzer prize-winning author called, "Caste: Origins of our Discontents." It explains the unspoken caste system in the USA that shapes our lives even at present day. I understand that skin color is part of Thai culture and Asian culture in general, but as a non-white I am put off by it and find it backward thinking. What I find profound is that much of that has been turned upside down. Caucasians are spending time and money altering themselves to asymalate brown people in looks and skin color. You have Asian cultures doing the opposite. From skin bleaching, long sleeve shirts, to umbrellas doing everything to keep the sun from darkening the skin. So, Caucasians want to appear more brown and Asians want to appear more white. I find it profound. Joy may have been somewhat joking, but I was really put off by the, "Just look at him. He's white. He's attractive." In my opinion, this is the same type of cultural brainwashing that has been a part of the fabric ofAmerica since its existence. From a Westerner's point t of view, I believe most Western men find darker skin Thai women attractive. It is my opinion that they are viewed more as Caucasian women with a "beach" tan. I am an attractive guy. I have dated many beautiful women of different ethnicities and complexions in my lifetime. Many of them have been Caucasian. I have dated a few women in Thailand. They have all been of lighter complexions. I find Thai women of all complexions attractive, but I am most attracted to the darker skinned Thai women. I absolutely love their beautiful brown glowing skin. Sadly, I find it difficult meeting darker skinned Thai women. Perhaps they think I am not attracted to them, or my own darker skin color is a reminder of the negative perception in Thai culture. I would be very interested in Joy's perspective. Thanks again.
Very nice comment and quite astute. Yes, we whites get skin cancer sitting in the sun while the Thais laugh at us, staying out of the sun til late in the day to stay light. Beauty is so different for all of us. I've always hated my very white skin and found darker women attractive. My ex-wife was Hispanic but so dark she was sometimes taken for black. Is it so simple that a lot of us are attracted to opposites in certain things? Was it in Bulsworth that Warren Beatty's character said to end prejudice we should all be the same shade of brown... But then there would be more things to discriminate with... Joy tells me bluntly that Thais tend to prefer guys, and women, with lighter skin as a general rule re attractiveness, but that they are much more open than in the US for example, and really do tend to see the person more. So she thinks being black in Thailand is not a negative issue at all, without the problems that result for a black man in many parts of America. Best wishes.
If you feel you are both attracted you have to be open , honest , appreciate both cultures & try to overcome language differences and meet in the middle somehow 😅
Western guys all seem to fall for that classic line that Thai men are bad and Farang men are good. Thai men must be doing something right because the vast majority of Thai women continue to choose Thai men, sometimes even after marrying a Farang. There simply aren't any formulas or generalities that work as each individual pairing is unique.
That “classic line” hides a lot of alterior motives. Trust Thai women to look out for number 1…and you are number 2. They also adhere to another classic, “to thine own self be true”. And I’m saying there is nothing wrong with that as long as you recognize the reality.
Yes each is unique but I hear the "Thai guys cheat" so much from so many it must be true. Much harder for a Thai woman to connect with a western guy when their English is not good and the westerner does not speak Thai. So that's the main problem.
@@RetiredGlobalLife No doubt you hear that in your circles but of course women hunting for Farang men are going to have nice things to say about you and negative things to say about the men who don’t want them.
Who’s attacking Thai women?!? When I said “ And I’m saying there is nothing wrong with that as long as you recognize the reality.” does that sound like I disapprove of their self interest?
Interesting topic. I was in South East Asia, including Thailand, for two months recently and I spoke with a number of men and woman on the topic of skin color. The locals told me that light skin was a sign that the person most likely worked in an office setting instead of as farmer or outdoor laborer. Therefore they equated skin color with higher economic status. I did not get a sense that a dark skinned man would be shunned by Asian women. As an expat what been your observation?
No, it sounds crass to even discuss, but the reality is in general, a westerner is seen as a higher rank of person, much like the caste system in many countries. That applies to westerns of all colors. But white westerners are elevated by many even more so. I'm not saying it is fair or right it is just what most Thais will tell you.
@@RetiredGlobalLife Thanks for the response. I was taken aback by all of the skin whitening products in the Philippines and Thailand. Some people were even taking medications regularly to keep their skin artificially lighter. Seems ironic when many of us in the West spend countless hours on the beach trying to get more tanned. LOL
@@gary4451I'd like to point out that a well tanned white man wouldn't have any problem with Thai women. A naturally coloured person is probably a lesser desired man. I think Randy alluded to this. Having said that I've seen quite a few such couples. Just like you see in other countries,in the US,UK,Australia, just to mention a few . But generally speaking given everything equal white is more preferable. When it comes to racial types,Japanese and Korean are well liked . Chinese are good too .
Don’t know whether you can or have made heads or tails of the Thai expat tax situation but that might really impact what you’re talking about here. Lots of good Thai women but that uncertainty does make me ponder coming there for a relationship .
Much fear about the tax law. I predict it will not affect 99% of expats or foreigners due to the double tax treaty. Only untaxed revenue in one's home country will be taxable in Thailand, not pensions. The gov is after rich Thais dodging taxes.
Nobody can give you an authoritative answer right now . Any tax payable won't kick in until March 2025. For the current fiscal year . We're in limbo now until it's tested . In the Thai system they often float an idea only to abandon it or tweek it In any case the announcement was about funds transferred to your thai bank from offshore . Will they ask banks to apply withholding tax? Then ask you to lodge tax a return to claw back funds they're not entitled to? Who knows and they mentioned subject to country tax treaties. They didn't clarify details . There are a lot of retirees here and more to come, maybe you , so I doubt they want to discourage this segment that's very beneficial to the country . That's why I think they'll tweek it and people who live here on the retirement funds or pensions won't have to lodge returns . I think this is probably about Thai citizens or dual citizens who earn money and don't want to pay taxes anywhere. Don't rely on any professional advice now as nobody knows anything for certain. Maybe next year it'll crytalise .. One defensive step you could take. Transfer funds to your Thai bank and clearly label it as capital/saving/ pension. Not income. It's still a grey area but we'll see. Other than that you could get a family member to send funds to you from their account and label it either loan or gift. My gut feeling is that they're not going to bother retirees. It would be commercial suicide .Imagine you want to retire here and want to buy a high end condo, say from a developer for 15 million baht and pay tax on it ar 35%.? The new PM is a real estate mogul, he would never allow this .
I Randy and Joy me I'm from Canada and I love Asian woman and l look a lot of video of youtuber about Pattaya and me I'm looking for true love and one youtuber say it's not the place to find true love he said that's is rare as snow in Pattaya so where I could go to met a real nice Thai woman.Thank you.
Yes, Pattaya is known as hooker central, not to put all women in the same basket, but it's the reputation. Bangkok also has a big element of that but only parts. Almost any other city has plenty of "normal" Thai women. I think the north, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai are good bets.
@RetiredGlobalLife Thank you so much and I will consider to go to Chiang Mai and visiting Thailand to enjoy and I will continue to watch your video they are very instructive and you know about your talking thanks again Randy and Joy have a nice day .😃💥💥💥
I am 74 and I'm married to a 45 year old Thai woman. When she was 18 years old she had a very serious motorbike accident and pretty much lost the use of her right leg. But I kept going down each day and flirting with her for about 7 to 8 days back in April of 2019. On our first date I realized that this was a good woman who had a very tough life because of her leg. And then Covid came and she lost her cashier job. By then I knew I needed to step in and help her because I wanted her to have food on the table and a roof over her head. I have made 6 trips back to be with her as much as I can. We are applying for a spousal visa, but those take longer than a year and a half to get now. But she is one remarkable woman and I was not going to let her get away,. Good luck to both of you,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I'm curious now if you have seen a western woman dating Thai man. And if yes, how did it go? 👀 I saw pretty guys around a bar on my vacation and assumed they were working, but probably for male customers. As a woman, I just pass those places quickly just in case it's not safe for some reason. But it also made me wondering what if I was rich and wanted an adventure, or just normal relationship with a regular thai guy. How would be possible to do it... and not die. 😅
There are young handsome guys on the dating sites and they make clear what they are offering, though not nearly as common as women for men. But just go meet some nice Thai guys in everyday ways, like shopping, schools, businesses, instead of bars etc.
Maybe you have comment on this? First - good video with you and your loved one interaction ❤ I came to Thailand with a strong Theravada Buddhist belief and thought I would discover this in the culture. My first observance was the huge amount of importance a farang believes education is one way to evaluate a thai, then money plays in, then age and sex, etc and the mamy farang repeatedly repeat this in their comments and I do not know why a farang requires to put a level of this what appears to be a form of bragging. So I started looking at this from a thai lady point of view and she may naturally not talk about her beliefs as she would assume she needs english and education to appeal to a farang. So point is I came in through a different lenz prestudying culture and living as Buddhist Zen with Japanese, later following Theravada. So as you may well have guessed, typing this sort of comment gets zero farang interest. Now I have found a lovely thai lady, raised on temple grounds, and we share our beliefs and commonalities and forward thoughts about life. Just to complete my query for comment, I dont know what to think as she is 50 and I am 70, she went through a marriage and the man cheated and left, she is strong willed and alone now for years, not educated not rich however a good manager position. I am proceeding so that is not the question as a man I will make my choices. Some thought as she is younger and the pure physical attraction for her is strong. I rambled on about a much more complex subject, I was just pondering if you have any comments. Thank you. Wish you both a happy day ❤🙏
To be more clear, we have known each other for two years, a very loving caring understanding relationship I am blessed with. I know and accepted all her life, financial, fears, loves, beliefs. I am at the stage of marriage and confident although at times I think just give her money and let her find a younger man and not be greedy with my desire for youth. Just the way my heart works wanting her happiness. Why I type this on here? Maybe articulating helps me listen to myself 🙄
Interesting life you live. For me, a big difference in age matters a lot if one partner is very young, like under 30, as they may not have a lot of life experience, but when one is at least 40+, there is not a maturity difference, just more life experience in the older partner. Each has had enough time to know what they want in live and what they want to give. So as long as they share the same values and find each other attractive to be with, what does it matter at all?
@@RetiredGlobalLifethank you 🙏 I sort of clumsily blundered through with what I was asking, wish not to offend anyone, everyone will place different values on what they prioritize. You understood and I quite appreciate and value your answer in its calmness of statement. When I met her I admired how through our choices we each found individual happiness through open mind and knowing our self first. Together we took our time to develop a plan together, ensure we had a plan we liked through understanding the words of each other, implemented action towards this goal. I fully believe we shall continue our life being happy together. As a child in a residential style school, escaping to the street, learning what is important, saving and being blessed with a good career later in life, to be at this point with all the anger gone I wouldn't change a thing and will honor my next journey in the beautiful kingdom of Thailand. You are good people, shall keep you in my prayers wishing you peace and happiness always ❤🙏
I'll be in Thailand June 1st. Been talking to this one lady who is a school teacher with a bachelor's degree since February. I got cold feet after a while thinking maybe she was just looking for money. After a couple days. I regretted it and continued to talk to her on a almost daily basis even though she didn't answer me. I sent her pictures of flowers and things that I was doing and what was on my mind. On my birthday. She did wish me happy birthday and then we started talking again. I really like her and I think she's beautiful. By Thai standards. Maybe not so much and I'm sure a lot of Western Men would think she was only average which is just fine with me. Friends have said to me why would you want to one woman when you can have many. It's not me I say. Never been that way. I understand completely. How their feelings about money and foreigners can be. It's tough in Thailand unless you come from an upper class family with a lot of money. I'm not rich but compared to the average Thai I'm much better off than they are financially. Even if my bank account was empty, my social security every month would more than make up for it. And yeah I'm tall. I'm fairly good looking. I seem to be in okay shape, although there's definitely room for improvement and I have a good sense of humor and appreciate life. I decided that alcohol was probably detrimental to my health in Thailand, so I've given it up. I wasn't a heavy drinker but I don't need it. I don't want to put myself in with situation where I'm not thinking clearly at all times in Thailand. It wouldn't be good for me and it wouldn't be good for any woman I was in a relationship with. I visited Thailand in February for 2 weeks. My first time in Southeast Asia. While I was there I met some bar girls and we had a good time. It wasn't what I was looking for long-term but I was on vacation. I have a lot of respect for the bar girls I know. Their life was hard, is hard. They're good people. I'm not saying they all are just the two that I know. Just no future there. And they know I'm coming back and they would like to see me. But the woman I am pursuing has been cheated on in the past and had a short-term abusive relationship with a farang. She doesn't need me to be that too. One thing that concerned me was that she has a daughter. If you would ask me before I went to Thailand would I ever date a woman with a child again? I would say no way. And yet strangely enough I'm actually looking forward to it.. and now my biggest fear really is will Her daughter like me and accept me? It would be very important to me that she Does. And as far as other family is concerned, if I have extra money I would have no problems sending some to her mom once in awhile. When we go to the village to meet her family. I would have no problems buying the pig and all the other stuff that goes with it. I've watched the videos. Know what to expect. I have no problems with that. Especially if they like me and they treat me good. Or at least respectful. That's not necessarily something we do in the west as it's usually the other way around with the parents supporting the children sometimes well into adulthood. But with no real social safety net or retirement that is a living retirement wage. Thailand is different for sure. And yeah Randy, I get pissed too when I hear some of the comments that are bantered around about Thai women. Just wanting money. You know some of these guys have gotten burned pretty bad and that's why they feel that way. But then again what are they going after? You reap what you sow. And in the middle of your video, And while I was writing this she video called me on line. Getting ready for work. It is 7:00 p.m. local time in Philadelphia where I'm at right now, 7:00 a.m. her time and still she took the time to call and say hello and check on me after I just drove 1,400 km. In 2 days. So I guess what I'm saying is I'm head over heels with this woman and I really hope it works out. I think it's going to and I think it's going to be great. I'm a year younger than you are and she's a year younger than Joy so it's kind of the same age difference. I asked her. Is that a problem for you and she said no. Just be respectful. I can do that. I can do a lot more than that. Thanks for the video !
Hi Rob. We communicated before on another thread . I told you that your lady seems like a good prospect for a guy like you. I am hopeful that when you arrive she'll turn out to be everything you hoped for . She is 43, gainfully employed as a teacher and her daughter is probably still in school . That situation is not going to change for quite a while so I hope it'll suit you . My guess is she'll be a bit on her guard at the start seeing she was abused by a farang before. You both need to be patient. I am not experienced with pig farming but I don't think a pig is too expensive in Thailand. However if we're considering a traditional village marriage a bit later I don't think a pig is acceptable as dowry given by a farang . Never seen that before but hey, there is always a first time.😂
A very nice and thoughtful comment. We are wishing you a great visit when you return. Is she from the Issan region? Many farmers there. Water buffalo a common gift and commodity. Not heard of a pig but anything is possible.
@@consulthaiYes I remember. I saw a video where a foreigner went to the village with his Thai girlfriend and had to buy a pig to feed the village. That's what I was referring to LOL. I am very much looking forward to the lifestyle that I am envisioning. Life is better with someone else. That's what I believe. I can't find that in the west anymore. Oh, maybe I could but not enough time left in my life to find the needle in the haystack. Instead. I think I found her in Thailand. As far as marriage, it's not really something I would be looking forward to when I think of it. As a western thing. In Thailand, I think it's different. I can commit to a woman for the rest of my life. I don't need a piece of paper with the government stamp on it to tell me I'm in that relationship. However, if it was important to her then I would be agreeable to it. It's been a long time since I've been with a woman that I really cared about and I'm even including some of my years of marriage and that. What I feel for this lady is something I have not felt in a while. Time would Tell but as I told her it takes more than just love, takes mutual respect, admiration in time. I think we have the first two. The third will have to wait because that's the nature of time LOL.
@@RetiredGlobalLifeshe was born in Si Sa Ket... When she was young they moved to Bangkok. After her father died she moved back to Nonthaburi. I sent her a link to your video and she watched it. She said to me. I hope when you watch it, you will know more about me and understand me better. She is unlike any woman I've ever known. I feel very lucky. I am looking forward to the future. And your next video. Although I don't really care about the sex trade in Thailand.
@@RobFomenko Ah,ok. The pig was for the wedding feast, not the dowry. You won't have to legally marry if you don't want to. A traditional ceremony will suffice . As she was married before the sin sod( dowry) shouldn't be substantial . Even that ceremony isn't mandatory with a divorced woman. You seemed to have established good basics from afar. You're smitten, in love , sound like a fairytale romance. I hope she is everything you imagine she will be . Not long now and I know what it's like when you first meet after months of cyber world romance . Good luck to the both(3) of you . The clincher will be the daughter. You're the second farang so she'll need to adjust. Keep us posted.

Joy is a joy to liste to. Keep up your the interesting conversations
She says thank you for the nice compliment, and yes I am lucky. She and I tell each other that all the time. Congratulations on your upcoming baby!
BB it's very nice to read a good news story like yours
With a 32 year age difference you must have taken a lot of crap from people in the west. Congrats though!
No judgement in Thailand? You must know that any woman engaging in PDA is judged to be a bargirl.
I'm a married woman and loved this video. Great and informative video. Beautifully covered.
Thanks, Glory! Best wishes.
You’re a cute couple and we can tell you are open and honest with each other which is so important if you want a lasting relationship. It’s so informative to hear a Thai lady’s perspective since it is rare on TH-cam. I’ll be looking forward to your next video.
Thanks so much. Hope you visit again.
Great job as usual you guys, the best channel for intelligent and balanced information about living in Thailand.
Glad you think so! Appreciate it, Andrew, thanks!
Well done! You both handled a potentially difficult and sensitive subject with information and dignity. Tough to do and you did it humor and real world experience. Top!
You are too kind! And too wise! Thank you.
Great video. Randy you’re very fortunate in meeting Joy. I plan on moving to S.E. Asia in a couple of years, maybe I will be lucky enough to meet someone like her.
Thanks, and you will. Nice guys can finish first in Thailand.
I am raised in America and now connected with my birth mom, and I support her $250-$300 per month. I paid off her townhouse in Ayutthaya.
Ah, she has a good daughter!
Go for it .👍
Thank you. That is the place. I am going for it 👍
I'm an old single guy moving to Chiang Mai in July.
Great plan, Brian. You will meet her at the grocery store or in a coffee shop, when you least expect it. (:
Great mindset
If you plan to enjoy the Thai culture, I hope you get used to being xenophobic. There are many dark sides to Thai culture for which few westerners really know. You might want to read articles from Thais who have been exiled from Thailand for speaking the truth.
Your the kind of "old guy" that I find inspirational. Go for peace of mind and enjoyment but also open minded should she find you. Good luck on your travels sir. I'll be a year behind you. (BTW, what are your plans for the burning season? I'm quite worried about that as i don't think I could tolerate it).

Thanks! I have heard of that book but not bought it.
Haha, yes, she did not like me asking. her to do that scene.

Sorry about your loss, David and thank you. We hope to see you here on the streets of CM.
Awesome! Thank you!
Ciao!
So nice of you to say, so, thanks!
Guys, you produce great content. thanks
Very nice of you! Thanks.
Thanks so much for that message. Something people need to hear and believe. Thanks!
Beautiful video! Thank you for a honest look into life abroad..Congratulations to both of you and your future

I don't know that nurses go to bars a lot. But you can certainly interact with them when you visit the hospital. (:
Thanks for another great episode. Moving to Thailand soon. Looking forward to the next. Joy is suey mak !!
Yes she is but shhhhh, I don't want her to know. Only kidding. Thanks.
Omg...so funny video😂 i was in TH in Feb. Had a blast. Retiring next yr and will visit for a few months. Scuba diving and friendly culture were big draws for me
Great scuba and snorkeling in many areas. Thanks for the compliment!
Cannot say how much I loved the opening! Hilarious with you doing your Falang Thai bit and Joy doing the ‘stereotypical’ Thai woman bit. Informative sure but as always greatly entertaining with a positive vibe 😄
Thank you so much!! Appreciate it, Rebecca.
Great topic, its very cool to see Joy come out of her shell. Cheers.
Haha, she has never been in a shell. Just getting a chance to talk more.
really intelligent and sincere video, from a very pleasant couple. i have spent 40+ years in and around asia. your words apply to other cultures too, as you said. i would say that, in a broad brush, modern-era western women proceed from a feeling of entitlement whereas asian women proceed from responsibility. thank you, you deserve way more subscribers.
Very astute observation re entitlement vs responsibility. And thanks for the nice compliment. Hope you visit again.
hah really enjoyed this video and the love sparkles coming off of it
Hey that is a very nice comment! Thank you.
Great video as always! Always a pleasure so see a new video from the both of you! Next year I come to retire in the land of smiles. So your videos are very welcome. Thanks!
Great for you! And thanks for the nice compliment.
This is just awesome content you don't see anywhere else. Like you said, all the other channels just talk about all the horror stories. Granted, there's some truth to it, but it's good to know that it's possible to find and date real Thai women as well and build something that's genuine.
Nice of you to say. Hope you come again.
I moved to Thailand after my wife of 58 years passed away. Was not looking for a serious relationship, but one happened. Have been with my loving Thai wife for six years and could not be happier.
I'm so happy to hear about your great relationship. The best things often happen without trying...
Always great content, really appreciate your direct and thoughtful content.
Super nice comment, Michael. Thank you.

Thank you, John! Yes, I agree, Joy is sweet.
Nice to see more of Joy in your video......Good video......If you do the next video with the subject matter you indicated......you may move from a travel channel to a dating "How To" TH-cam channel.......Smile......Keep on doing what you are doing and we'll see how your channel evolves......

Thanks and you are right about the communication issue.
Outstanding, keep it up guys!!!

Bad acting? No way! she scared me, haha! Excellent acting 😃
Haha, yes, Joy was not enjoying the experience. First time I heard her yell. Teaches me to never actually get her mad.
What a great video, down to earth and common sense. It is why I became one of your new subscribers.
Thanks so much, and glad to have you.
100% right.
Good show, now hurry up with the next video, I am curious.
We will do our best. (:
Hey guys great vidio and interesting subject just returned from a month trip to Thailand very enjoyable. Loved the fact that you can enjoy the company of women with no strings attached. This is perfect for me as just want to have a good time whilst travelling and for the girls its a financial arrangement that they are happy with. Looking forward to your next vidio about the subject. Thanks
Nice to hear from you. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Your video has effected a self re-assessment, and adjustments made thereof, of my Thailand dating M.O....thanks, "Butterfly 8"
We are glad it was helpful! Thanks so much for the comment.
Thank you both!
Damn interesting and great perspectives. Your focus was on dating, but one aspect not stated was marriage. Does Joy and other Thai girls consider marriage the goal and not just a long term relationship?
Good question, the next video I think will talk about that...

Nice comment, Jon. We all have different things to contribute. We all get so wound up over money.

Hey, super nice compliment for us. Thanks!@
Thumbs up 👍 Randy & Joy
Always appreciate hearing from you, Mr. Mango. Thanks.
Graham UK
Great to hear, thanks, and glad you make it every year.
Joy is a beautiful woman; you’re a lucky guy 👍
I think the hard part for a westerner is meeting a woman who isn’t a bar girl. Whereas a western guy hears that the man is expected to support the woman’s family.
Thanks for Joy's compliment. Not hard to meet a non-bar girl if you spend time here with Thais and not just with westerners. Just living a normal life...
Great job you two been wanting to atleast visit for a month or so just haven’t started the steps to do that yet
Thanks for watching and commenting. (:
Hello folks. You look like a great couple. There are too many negative stories on the internet about bad relations between Thai women and western men. We need more positive relationship stories. Great comment.
FYI, I’m the VIP in Remitly😂
Lastly, good show, thank you ❤
Thanks for the compliment and sorry to hear you have not met the person you hope to.
Great video thanks
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Glad you found your happy place! Philippines and Cambodia easier than Thailand due to so many speaking English there.
Thanks for such a nice post and message. Continued good luck.

@@RetiredGlobalLife Thank you sir!! Love your channel.
Thanks for your very nice and thoughtful email. I wish you success and happiness.
Love you Guys! ♥
Very nice of you. Thanks!
I think the Lanna Thai culture in the north might make for a better chance for a match between a westerner and a Thai lady. More of an old school view .
My experience in life is mainly the north but from what I see I think they do have the friendliest people in Thailand.
You are right on with both points!
have been to Thailand quite a few times to visit my Aussie friends , most of them are in a happy relationship with a Thai lady .
An interesting question was asked to me by their Thai partners .
1. How much do you earn & have you been married ( which I felt ok about answering and I did )
2. How much money do you have in the bank ? - this question I was reluctant to answer , basically I felt that I was “ dropping my pants “ and being totally exposed - without not even met a lady & had
any time or connection with
Thanks Joy & Randy
That seems an odd question, yes. But I find Asian culture different. They talk of how much they paid for their houses, money details, as if to brad about their status, while we westerners consider it rude ask or brag about such things.

Morning Randy
Thanks for the reply
Certainly a culture thing - I’m not offended , we are all learning , but of course we need that little spark to start off and a connection - Happy Thursday to you both 👋👍🙏
Thank you so much for making this video and touching on the subject of skin color that most people are uncomfortable talking about.
@@RetiredGlobalLife Thanks for the response. I was not trying to be negative. Just having dialog. Thank again.

If you feel you are both attracted you have to be open , honest , appreciate both cultures & try to overcome language differences and meet in the middle somehow 😅
Yes, language can be huge, happily not an issue for us.
@@RetiredGlobalLife for us at times can be , but if have any misunderstandings I count to 3 and try to say slowly .. 🙏
And are you number 1 looking out for yourself? Many are that way and it's somewhat normal. Why attack Thai women?
Joy you are so lucky have a boyfriend like Randy 😊
Yes!!!!!! Finally I am appreciated!!!!!! Haha.
Joy is very charismatic and charming 😎✌️✨
For sure!
So the interest on municipal bonds shouldn’t have to be declared there since they’re not taxable in the first place in the US. Makes sense ?
Nobody can give you an authoritative answer right now . Any tax payable won't kick in until March 2025.
For the current fiscal year .
We're in limbo now until it's tested . In the Thai system they often float an idea only to abandon it or tweek it
In any case the announcement was about funds transferred to your thai bank from offshore .

Good luck to both of you,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
And good luck to you and your wife. Thanks for sharing.
hahaha, that was fantastic!!!
Very nice of you. Thanks.
Randy you lucky have Joy!
Anna, you are right! Now I need some people to write in and say she's lucky t have me so she does not get too conceited. (:
I'm curious now if you have seen a western woman dating Thai man. And if yes, how did it go? 👀
I saw pretty guys around a bar on my vacation and assumed they were working, but probably for male customers.
First - good video with you and your loved one interaction ❤
I came to Thailand with a strong Theravada Buddhist belief and thought I would discover this in the culture.
@@RetiredGlobalLifethank you 🙏
I sort of clumsily blundered through with what I was asking, wish not to offend anyone, everyone will place different values on what they prioritize.
You may want to file with USCIS and she can hang out at Thaitown in Hollywood and with her acting ability maybe she will be discovered!
She has her heart set on Bollywood, haha. Thanks.
Great video! Hope everyone can handle truth! lol!
Thanks! Good to hear from you.
@@RetiredGlobalLife I'm "hooked" on your info. Hope you're having fun! We will be there maybe sooner, rather than later!
