They own a vast fortune, including the Grosvenor Estate, which is one of the largest private estates in the UK. The estate includes much of London's Mayfair district, as well as other valuable property in the city and throughout the UK.
The Grosvenors made their fortune in the 17th century when Sir Thomas Grosvenor married Mary Davies, the heiress to a wealthy London merchant. Sir Thomas invested his wife's fortune in property, and the Grosvenor Estate has been growing ever since.
The Grosvenors use their wealth to support a variety of causes, including education, healthcare, and environmental protection. They also own a number of businesses, including Grosvenor Property, which manages the Grosvenor Estate.

@@MoneyInfluencePower That's wonderful I love the Rothschilds and their story it's so fascinating. Also, I wondered if you have any videos on Boston (Massachusetts) based wealthy families. The reason I ask is that I grew up watching Frasier and I always identified myself with Niles. Come to think of it I have a crush on Emma Watson and I do see some similarities between me, Harry Potter and Tom Hanks.
I'm the sort of person that loves to learn languages, read about literature (classical) and listen to Classical Music.
Interesting dialogue. The visual element, however, is often totally unrelated to the scene(s).

They just pass this fortune on from generation to generation without ever paying tax the world is such a lovely place
6% INHERITANCE TAX every 10 years on discretionary trusts. Plus income tax which they are transparent about. Less ruinous and a better deal for HMRC. IHT was a way of destroying the aristocracy by making them pay fir two world wars. More should have created trusts.
They pay inheritance tax at 6 % of the estates value every 10 years.

the word Marquis is french in origin, so their pronunciation is technically correct
in Blighty that particular pronunciation will get you ID'd as "not knowing", trust me. If this was primarily a story about the French nobility, the pronunciation would be as was stated. Not on the Sceptred Isle.@@yo·aan
