Hey! Vegas local here!! These rides “close” and “open” due to the winds. You’re so high up that if the wind slightly picks up they will close the rides for safety reasons. Hope this helps!!

I did the sky jump and all the rides at the top of the tower. It was so much fun. Not scary at all! It’s the anticipation that makes you nervous. The rides aren’t scary.

Too bad they removed the Coaster and the power shot tower. Was lucky to ride those when Stratosphere opened. The rotating restaurant underneath is a great place for lunch/dinner.

Thank you Alex for posting this, if you heard of the sky jump off the sky city tower in Auckland New Zealand I did that it was fun and its like the jump off of that tower.
I wouldn't mind going up to see the rides and all that stuff. But to go on? Nope! I think it be too scary for me. 😨 And I couldn't get on the spinning because getting severe vertigo as it was.

The thing that really sucks about the x scream is it doesn’t do that dip anymore which really sucks. It used to dip down a few times after it would almost come off the edge. My next thing I would love to do is skydiving

great vlog! Fellow enthusiast from Arizona here haha We paid for the Groupon that was only $107 for the skyjump and unlimited rides at the top. However when we got there to do our jump, we were informed that they only had the shot tower open, so thankfully the skyjump people said they can keep our unlimited rides on file for a later date when more than just 1 ride is operating, so we just did the skyjump. And boy was it amazing! 😎
I hate going up there on stratosphere… but like watching videos…. so if u don’t get to ride all the rides or take ur camera… my trip to the strat was ruined too…. I’m so mad rn
