Having great vision is so important - to go along with your active feet, hands and head portion. Being able to use your peripheral vision to see ball and man allows the player to stay in a good off ball stance and not get their head full turned away from the ball or their man.
    Really enjoy your work! Thanks!

You mean a lot to my development as a basketball player. As a 29 year old, there is a lot more that I need to learn on my own. And you are giving me no excuses to not succeed. Thanks a lot, coach@

Got one more for you. Keep somebody in front and don't give up straight line drives. Some programs have rule, if player needs less than 3 dribbles to beat you, you "do not deserve help." Also now with more programs switching learn how 3/4 post on any position, front post, and as a big how to use length to stay in front of faster guards.

Nice, I'm learning as much as I can to help teach my son and possibly become a coach down the road if I can absorb enough of it.

Good video, however it would hard to believe that stopping the ball by taking a charge would not be of high value. It's a natural part of rotating.

Thanks! That’s a good point. One thing I will say about taking charges (which I believe is a very valuable thing) is they just changed the rules on what is required to take a charge because they’re trying to eliminate the amount of attempted charges. So, as much as I think it’s important - the game is moving away from them. Thanks for sharing!

Guys in the pro's don't play like this anymore, maybe certain individuals, but not many teams play great team defense, they just stand around on defense and sometimes walk up the court and not get back on defense the IQ is horrible, they also don't have their hands active or up as much either, defense is a lost art in today's game particularly in the pros but i also college player putting in the effort, great video though 🏀👍🏾

Do you even watch the pros? If you did then you would realize this isn't true at all.

@ancientwarriors67 this only happened in the all star game because the players didnt want to get injured, they didnt care about the allstar, other than that all high level teams in the NBA, g league, or college all have good defensive standards

@@gtxs.pablo24 bro that's a poor excuse you're using for these childlike players why the hell play in the all-star game if you're not going to put in the effort and play for the fans, you see this is what's wrong with the game today ain't nobody watching this nonsense and that is why the ratings or low these guys are getting paid millions to do what they want and not show up to work it is sad smh
