I love the way you like every little unimportant thing like I do. It was once important to someone or of value. I don't have anyone to share this with, no one understands. I love watching your videos and so appreciate them. I understand!!
Thank you so much for providing the photos that you did at the end. I do not know much about these things so seeing how they would have been used in their time just fascinates me even more. Everything has value and a purpose and beauty. Thanks Michael and God Bless.
I have to say I really enjoy watching you do this! One of my best buddies is into this and he goes like every Thursday night to a group that meets at a place to have a meal and talk about what they have found and stuff.
Fantastic video and thanks for the visual aide's at the end. That put it all in to perspective. I appreciate your determination to go out in the murk and muck in search of history. Nice Quote from Proverbs at the end as well. Well thanks for the entertainment for my spirit and the food for my soul. I look forward to the next one.☺
great videos Nugget. I really appreciate the little history lesson at the end with the pics to see what you found and its actual application. Keep up the good work and God bless
The brass piece looks to me like part of a Hand-Pump water pump. We played with grandmother's water pump for hours as kids. We were all clean when done so the parents didn't mind. hehe..
Hi Nugget, I did a hunt in a whole load of mud recently. This was extracted from an old stream that was silting up and cleared to help drain the land. Boy was it tough going. Stuck to everything and managed to work it's way up my boots and half way up my legs too. It took me at least an hour to clean up afterwards. . then another hour to clean the car inside and out. So I admire the way you kept at it even when it was raining on you too. Well done my friend.
You are one committed relic hunter, digging through all that mud. For whatever reason, I always thought people were saying "range guide". And I would think, that would be pretty big to be mounting on a gun. LOL! Woops! I was definitely wrong. Thanks for cleaning that up for me!
Nugget nigh in. Love your videos. You search some interesting sites. A lot of different items you retrieve. Thks it’s interesting. An 80 year old that discovered yours and a few other metal detecting sites. Thks again. Dennis
+Charles Wilson Peale More? No, not that I am aware of. To be clear, I saw only the first two posts = the first two comments that you recited here. NOT the third guy's post nor the threatening one.
cool vid man ,I love the hunting in bad weather vids. Beau seems to do a lot of those . I live in VA and nothing but rain this week but I got out to day and got a 54 cal 3 ringer and some melted led and part of a arowhead . Realy enjoy the scriptures at the end as well. Have a good week end .
Hi Nug. great video. maybe over this winter you could do a video at home or in your hobby room/shop if you have one. showing some of us your detectors how to stuff like cleaning up old coins you find or what you do with your finds. fram them or do you just add them to the pile? thanks
Hello Nugget! You remind me of when I was your age hunting for arrowheads in the muddy fields. I would be covered in mud. Good times! Always check where the water has run off and made a trench.
Did someone say mud? Oh my. Very interesting seeing the pictures to go with the relics you have found. It brings their use to life for us modern folks.
Hi Nuggetnoggin I am from the UK and love your videos as I have an interest in history and metal detecting, Beau Ouimette mentions you in one of his old videos Metal Detecting a Civil War Railroad Fort, around 10:30 - 10:40 I his video, any way love the videos, a video on what detector to buy for a beginner, and a lesson in the basics of metal detecting would be great
My brother is a heavy-equipment operator and dozier driver. He has an arrowhead and bottle collection that would knock your eyes out. His best arrowhead is see-thru with rainbow colors about 7 inches long. We are from south Georgia. In swampy areas the Indians would camp on mounds where they could find them to keep the camp dry. This is where we look for the arrowheads.
I know your probably not gonna reply, but what part of south Georgia do you live in because I live in south Georgia and my uncle always hunts for arrowheads, he only has about 10, 11 arrowheads but he just started hunting them about 3 months ago. I hunt for 'em but not as much as he does. By the way I live in Cook County.
Wherever i can find a quarter mile track nearby. Las Vegas or Phoenix for now but moving to North Carolina soon for the great racing venues back east. Maybe even Englishtown NJ.
Just found your show today. My wife and me have been watching you all day. You have a great show, we can not stop watching. What state do you in? Keep up the good work and God bless you.
Just finding this old video. I'm getting back into detecting after laying off about 15 years and was conquered by the mud today, so just brushing up. Early on you found an artifact that I've found many like. In my approximation they were hand held knife blades flaked for quick use for cutting or scraping. Definately a good find.
Fun day in the mud. I always find arrow heads best , right after a rain when the sun is out. It seems to make them shine a bit and I spot them so easily. Hope you get a chance to go there again, before it's too late. Abbey out to go there with you, if she can. You could cover twice the ground, hu?
You should go back and look it over good for the Indian relics, there should be some nice ones just waiting to be picked up. Love the scripture, keep up the good work nugget!
I really Love watching your metal hunting and bottle digging video's because you give the histoy of your finds and of the sites you dig at. What is your oldest, rarest and or valuable item and botte too?? Happy Hunting..

The thing with the number 6 on it resembles a Pressure Cooker weight. it swiveled back and forth to relieve pressure when it got to 6lbs.
