I've raised chickens, geese, pheasant, dove, ducks, turkey, etc. I recommend stopping or reducing the warm compresses.Your introducing bacteria back into the eyes and keeping the area moist. Try going down to 1 time a day using the moisture to losen the puss. You are correct, she needs the puss drained. She was trying to do herself, by rubbing her head on her back. If you can find an oral anitibitoic, that would be the best. There is something called blue coat you can use on birds, can find at your local farm supply. Blue coat can be put on her head, not sure about the eyes. Youve kept her alive this long, she might survive this. Keep her moving, swimming is perfect, sunshine, warmth. Saying a prayer for Mumbles. Hoping she lives a long life with you. 🌻🦢🪿🐓❤

I wish that was true haha, my energy is constantly on low
How is your B12 level? May need to take yourself to a DR and get it checked. Good luck. You're doing a great job. She totally trusts you which is good for both of you in this process.
Seriously, get yourself checked out. It takes tons of energy to keep up animals. And even more so an injured one. You're doing so great.

Praying for Mumbles
You did a great job🎉❤
Oh I'm so sorry, Bless her Heart. Im Praying for you both. She might like to have some company, so she won't feel alone. You are a wonderful caregiver. God Bless you.
If your duck has an eye injury, take them to a vet for a prescription of an antibiotic eye ointment, usually 2-3 times daily normally clear up in a week, if that’s her case
No vets here
Mumbles will be alot better soon
