Her delivery was bad.
Standing Rock and her inaction to the crisis torpedoed progressives' perception of her.
Finally, the FBI and the Deep State probably did not like her because of how she ran things. There were rumours swirling, that civil servants and FBI personnel found her too difficult to deal with so they interefered. They started an investigation into her emails and her adherence to security rules.
Mysteriously, that case disappeared the moment Trump became President.
