I made this tonight for supper. My hubby actually asked me where I learned the recipe! I told him YOU!! It was yummy!! Thanks for another meatless treasure. The beans were so creamy.
I tried this yesterday (swapped the seasonIng for an Italian mix) and it was soooooo delicious! Don’t skip on the parsley and the lemon: it makes the dish! Use crusty bread to mop-up the beautiful gravy!!! Thank you for sharing this simple recipe 😊
It would be great if you can do a “what I eat in a day” video. All these recipes look delish but how do you put them together on a daily and weekly basis to live a healthy lifestyle. Thanks Susie!
instapot pr express cooker electric one for me prefered ,is way quicker😊😊😊😊😊 I can make a few soups in a few hrs and am not even close to cook or chef😂😂😂😂 but instapot is the way yo go 70% faster with these soups
I've made this twice now.. omg it's absolutely beautiful!! I substituted the Aleppo for cayenne and paprika and tonight I put some white wine in as I forgot the lemon. Served with toasted sourdough - divine!! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful recipe
Omg, I’m in ❤ with you! Just found you 4 days ago and I’ve already made three of your recipes and wow! Thank you! Ok, I’ll be getting some baby tomatoes and pecorino if anyone asks….
Thank you, was wonderful. My partner and I devoured it! His name is Orion and he's a French Spaniel. I'll use less parsley and more tomatoes, next time . We loved it!!
Came across this gem recently and made it today, didnt hacw aleppo pepper but substituted with a little mexican salsa. Tastes fantastic..thank you so much. Paired it with a one pot chicken rice with olives
I made this yesterday. I don't use canned beans so I used small white dry beans. Took longer to prepare the beans but it was worth the effort. Enjoyed the recipe - will keep in my favorites. Thank you. Appreciate the email updates Kent
I love the white beans as a change of pace from potatoes & I've sautéed beans like this minus the tomatoes. Next time I'm going to add the tomatoes & cheese when I do this. That looks so delicious!
Just made it for the family of 5 adults. All loved it. I did substitute some heirloom dried white beans I cooked up for the canned ones but plan on using the canned beans for use when cooking after work.
I grow up with dishes of beans (romanian-american). It's looling delicious, BUT is first time in my life to see cheese on beans. Hm......Maybe one day I will try. I already tryed 2 of your recepeites, thandk you very much a lot :) And one more thing I think was tooo much olive
Not really. Since the dish has only a few ingredients, they are all important. I'm sure you can cut back to just a few tablespoons though. EVOO is not the devil though. The health benefits are amazing. Don't be scared of it once in a while.
This recipe is perfect for me. Sounds delicious. I’m trying to become vegetarian and I’m not very imaginative. I need more beans and pulses. Do you have a recipe for rice with beans?
I have a great Lebanese recipe called mujadara. It’s a rice and lentils recipe. Here is my full recipe: www.themediterraneandish.com/mujadara-lentils-and-rice-with-crispy-onions/
What brand of casserole dish are you using? I’m looking for one exactly like that - love that turquoise bluey color. Tried these beans and loved them!! Would have been even better in that pan.
I used cannellini beans here but You can use butter beans. There is a link to the full recipe If you click the link in the video description. I explain the different beans you can use
It irritates me when every single cook uses garlic. It's just not practical for most of us. Garlic breath the next day is simply unacceptable. It's also the most overrated vegetable. Onion is easily its equal.
I made this tonight for supper. My hubby actually asked me where I learned the recipe! I told him YOU!! It was yummy!! Thanks for another meatless treasure. The beans were so creamy.
So glad you liked it!
I've made this like five times. It's awesome. Also, I love how she says "thank you very much a lot."
Glad you like it!
I just love it when she says "Chop like a pro."
I made this for my husband and I for lunch today and it was AMAZING! We had pitas and a great side salad. Perfection!

I think that’s a bit much to ask. Simply cook and eat.
@@Mmdmade
It’s not too much to ask.
I've made this recipe a few times after work. This one comes together quickly.

I just made this for dinner and it was out of this world. Thank-you!
Glad you liked it!!

Made this for dinner tonight and it was delicious! Hoping the leftovers re-heat well for lunch tomorrow.

Glad you liked it!
This dish was AMAZING!! So good!! This one will be on my regular rotation.
I'm surprised it doesn't have a onion in it. But it looks amazing!

@Lesevesel Don't stop. That would be great too.
I slice, and pan brown
the garlic, bed adding;
and a healthy portions
of flat leaf parsley
perhaps some roasted
red pepper
But that's me
I did it and was really nice!
Trader Joe’s EVOO is peppery and a great value.
I’ve made this so many times and I just love it!
I am so glad!
Thanks looks great!!

Yay!
Super delish! Will save the small amt of leftovers and put on toasted sandwich with greens!
That olive oil has a beautiful color, nice dish 🙏🏾
This tastes awesome
Yumm❤❤
I'll keep it vegan by leaving out the cheese....sounds perfect:) thank you
Looks delicious

Looks good! I will try this. Thanks.
Awesome vid. Can this be made without oil? (4,000 calories per pound)
Not really. Since the dish has only a few ingredients, they are all important. I'm sure you can cut back to just a few tablespoons though. EVOO is not the devil though. The health benefits are amazing. Don't be scared of it once in a while.
Looks so good!
Another winner!
Simple and so flavorful! Definitely a record time recipe too. 💕
Mahalo nunui iā ʻoe.
Can I use Cilantro instead of flat leaf parsley?
Nice 😊 easy to follow 👌
Canned beans are great pantry staples.
Another great, but simple recipe! Thank you for sharing!😁👍
My pleasure!
“A very beany situation”
I made this tonight, and it is delicious. I will be making this again. I halved the recipe because my son is not a big bean eater.
Wonderful!
this has become my new favorite quick dinner. I purposely keep these items on hand now.
Awesome! That is great!
Can I replace the parsley with another leaf Vegetable?
nice
Love your recipes!!!
Thanks!

@@TheMediterraneanDish Thanks very much! Looks amazing, as usual.
Will try with black beans
👍
I think i made almost every recipe on this channal 🙈 i am going to try this one tomorrow
Enjoy!
@@TheMediterraneanDish thanks! We always enjoy the recipes!!
love it!

I’m guessing La Crueset. Check there. 😉
Yes Le Creuset. You can find it here (affiliate link): amzn.to/3HXTQdI
Nice 👍
Any suggested for cheese alternative for dairy free people Love your recipes thanks
This recipe is already creamy enough without the cheese! I would just omit it ❤️
Or for a slightly "cheesy" flavor some vegetarians and vegans add nutritional yeast flakes to substitute, but that's up to your taste :)
Do you drain beans?
Hi Suzy, love your recipes..... do you have a recipe for Shepherds Pie?
Gorgeous looking…the dish wasn’t bad looking either.
ciabatta bruschetta for me.
Nice recipe but pecorino is not Parmigiano. I boil beans and refrigerate so I can have when ever I need so this recipe goes down to my book 😊.
Is this the same as butter beans?
I think so
Ive mad this recipe before
I used cannellini beans here but You can use butter beans. There is a link to the full recipe If you click the link in the video description. I explain the different beans you can use
Tip: don't add too much lemon or cheese
Also maybe cut back on the half a bottle of olive oil. 😂
It is not a party! Lol
This is so good! 🫘🍅🌿🧄
Tell me that woman is not drunk.
Looks great, but it’s a bit too much olive oil. Idea is perfect though!
Thanks! You can cut back on the olive oil if you’d like. Enjoy!
Everything looked amazing untill she squeezed the lemon in her hands to the pan! Uhhh!
what is your objection to this?
Guess I don’t get how food is “sexy”. ??????
Tooo much oil , dnt no 🤣
This food looks great. I'd like this podcast better without the narcissistic drama.
Hi Suzy.
Did anybody mentioned to u that canned
beans , are not healthy @ all?
It irritates me when every single cook uses garlic. It's just not practical for most of us. Garlic breath the next day is simply unacceptable. It's also the most overrated vegetable. Onion is easily its equal.
You can omit the garlic if you don't want to use it!
@@TheMediterraneanDish It'd just be nice to see someone have the creativity not to use it in a recipe.
When garlic is cooked the acid goes down and smell is almost absent.
@@fromloriewithlove9770 No it doesn't. You may think the smell goes but it lingers.
Too fattening & high cholesterol
Terrific recipe. Please tie your hair back when cooking.
Now we’re sexualizing food?
Really? "if you dont want to pay, i understand"? What a condescending creature.
👎🏾👎🏾Canned beans bye ✌️
Well I have made the mistake of not using canned beans, 🫘. And I am 2 hours in now. Haha.
You need to soak overnight. It really helps.
Top much of oil
Yummy 😋
💕💕💕💕💕
I just did this as a side dish for chicken breast and its amazing, it adds just the right amount of flavor!
I've done this many times before I saw this and you are right. It is delish! Never tried the alapo pepper but will give it a try. Thanks!
What seasoning did you use instead of Alapo pepper
@@kathyvictoria6059 Mainly garlic and thyme. Sometimes a little red pepper flake.
The Aleppo makes the difference. I urge you to buy it. It gives it a kick.
