The easiest explanation isn't the parents dosing the 9 year old. The easiest explanation is that 9 year old was sneaking and dipping into their stash. Stop pretending like a 9 year old isn't aware of drugs and isn't curious and mature enough to experiment. People are acting like a 9 year old is 4.
I was stealing weed from my dad at 9. Had he been a coke user, I probably would've been stealing that too. I, and my friends/classmates already knew what cocaine was by the time we were 9.
