I've read his autobiography and I think you should have also mentioned that some of his ancestors (maternal Grandfather, I guess, and some others) were also in the army and held high posts. also, while giving the SAS entrance, he failed the exam in his first attempt and his friend also failed but in the last stage. And next time he and his friend again gave the exam and were selected.
