Shame on the Council Planning Department, if they allow the beautiful, historic Emu Wool Mill be destroyed! Plenty of other uses for such an interesting building.
Hi Roger, I'm a chartered architect in North Wales. I absolutely hate seeing stone buildings, full of architectural character, detail and history, such as Emu Wool Mill being torn down to make way for soulless new build! @@rogerbassett2502 Apologies if I'm being a bit slow. The man in the cap was the ghost or saw a ghost? If he was the ghost, what was the incident? Was he killed or attacked in some way in the 1950s? I'm interested in pub related ghost stories, but this one is unclear, to me at least. Looks like it was a nice little boozer either way.

Yes the textile mill Emu Wools and the Iconic Cricketers Arms pub will be sadly missed my girlfriend worked at Emu in the 1970s great memories!

Was the flat cap man inside or outside? What was the incident in the 1950s that lead to the haunting? I remember Emu wools being sold everywhere.
Apparently the man with the flat cap had a incident inside the cricketers pub itself in the 1950s to best of my knowledge!
