Just bought the 1hp variant yesterday in Shopee for around 23k (discount vouchers applied) shipping included. I was choosing between this and the TCL tac-09cwi/w 1hp. Both were advertised as low noise inverter aircons with the lowest db(A) listed in their spec sheets amongst other brands/models of inverter ACs.

Hello K-buddy! The best way to determine if your inverter aircon is in inverting state is to buy a power meter and physically observe it. In the power meter, if the reading of wattage power subsides, it means that it is already inverting. On the fan speed setting, you can use any speed levels, there's a little difference in consumption only since Quad Series is equipped with a DC fan motor that helps save more energy without affecting its quality performance.

Based po sa agent na nakausap ko, Universal po kasi ang remote ng Kolin. Ibig sabihin, compatible siya na gamitin sa iba pang unit ni Kolin na may Health mode. Unfortunately, ang health button ay hindi functional sa Quad Series.
Hi Kolin! I have already installed the 0.75 quad window type in our aircon slot. I didn’t inspect nor open the inside beforehand. Just wondering if there is styrofoam on the inside or if I should have removed something from the inside before installing? I just read that other ac brands have styrofoam on the inside that should be removed. Asking if its the same case. Thank you!
Kakabili kolang din ng .75 nila tingin ko wala naman dapat iremove sa loob ang pinagtataka kolang nung sinilip ko ung loob parang may cloth na balot yung compressor tapos parang may foamy like sa loob color white at black 3 nights palang nagamit so far no problem naman low fan at 25-30 degree lang 😁

Hello. I was able to connect mine to my phone by following instructions in the manual. Choose the 2.4G Internet connection, this is the only frequency that can connect to the aircon. The aircon and phone should be using the same frequency for the two to connect.

No Drip system means the AC will splash the water/condensate to the condenser which enhances the efficiency of the unit. Hindi na po need na i set po muna sa Fan. Sa mga conventional (manual non-inverter) na aircon lamang po iyon applicable. Mas okay po na i set niyo na sa preferred po ninyo na settings para ON at OFF nalang po ang gagawin niyo.

Ang Health function po sa remote ng Quad Series ay wala pong function, universal po kase ang remote ng Quad Series. Kahet po pindutin naten ang Health ay wala magiging epekto sa aircon dahil wala po siyang built in na Health function.

This is because if the unit is oversized, then it will quickly cool your room instead of cooling it down gradually. Hello. Does it normally consume electricity when plugged in even if switched off? I observed my 0.75 hp kolin quad series unit consuming about 3.1 watts even if switched off.
Yes po. Same with other appliances sa bahay po naten na kahit na ka off po basta naka plugged is may consumption po.

Hello. I was able to connect mine to my phone by following instructions in the manual. Choose the 2.4G Internet connection, this is the only frequency that can connect to the aircon. The aircon and phone should be using the same frequency for the two to connect.

Hello K-buddy! Yes, mas mataas po ang EER ng S-Series Inverter compare kay Quad series, but in terms low wattage consumption, umaabot ang consumption ng Quad series ng as low as 220 W in its inverting state compare to S-Series na 300 W lang ang minimum consumption.
Warranty of our window type units are 1 year for parts and labor and 5 years for the compressor.

No, it is not damaging to the unit. Don't worry, Kolin Quad Series is applicable for both 'Drip' or 'No Drip' System. No Drip system means the AC will splash the water/condensate to the condenser which enhances the efficiency of the unit. Drip System require the removal of black plug and installation of drain pan and hose.

Hindi na po need na i set po muna sa Fan. Sa mga conventional (manual non-inverter) na aircon lamang po iyon applicable. Mas okay po na i set niyo na sa preferred po ninyo na settings para ON at OFF nalang po ang gagawin niyo.

Ang Health function po sa remote ng Quad Series ay wala pong function, universal po kase ang remote ng Quad Series. Kahet po pindutin naten ang Health ay wala magiging epekto sa aircon dahil wala po siyang built in na Health function.

Hi Horace, as much as possible we recommend that the HP of your unit is just right for the size of your room. Not undersized, and not oversized. This is because if the unit is oversized, then it will quickly cool your room instead of cooling it down gradually. This quick temperature shifts could cause your unit to start and shut down in rapid succession or what we call short cycling.
We recommend having your space surveyed first to know the appropriate HP for your room. You may watch this video to know what to check and consider before purchasing a unit:

Ang filter led indicator ay once na umilaw ibig sabihin po nito ay nareach na ng inyong aircon ang 250 hours usage of operation, icheck lamang ang filter sa loob ng facecover ng quad kung madumi na at linisan ito, at after po ipasok ulit ang filter at ireset ang unit by turning it off.

@@coachscottie_official Hi K buddy, hindi po masisira ang unit dahil sa filter but hindi niya lang marereach agad agad ung desired temperature sa area and also maaaring maka consume ang katawan niyo ng air pollution dahil sa maduming filter sa loob ng AC.
basta k buddy ang paglinis ng aircon filter ay importante at ito dapat ay ginagawa every once or twice a week depende sa pag gamit at kung saan naka install ang AC.
