Syria will need to avoid getting consumed by fighting, swallowed by its neighbours, or picked apart by competing interests. 'Hope' seems rudderless and out of context given the known quantities, so surely a cautious optimism, but for the Syrian people.
So they should rename these airports from having an Assad like name to a name that is more in tune with supreme hero Abu Mohammed Al Jolani also known as Ahmed Al Sharaa just in order to pay tribute to the hundreds of thousands of martyrs whose lives were abruptly ended by the former regime.
