I now understand why you put deciever to rest. Hearing you talk about the writing process of the album, it really makes sense to play the music you still emotionally connect with
It legitimately makes me upset that they aren't as well known in the alternative scene, they've been around for a long time yet they still seem so underrated. TWA is a masterpiece of a band ❤
monomani is my favorite. and the way telle talks and so passionate and calm . I'm so glad I had the chance to talk to this band during vip. I could sit for hours and watch them talk. they are so nice and amazing .
My band played KnZ’s royal rumble with you guys when you released Deceiver and I remember meeting you guys. You guys were so friendly and down to earth. I remember really looking up to you guys back then. Cool to see far you all have come
Man stuff like this gives you a whole new perspective on a band. I have loved the word alive since dark matter, and I’m glad I was here to hear the new record monomania. And listening to this video makes me respect them even more now
Me and many of my friends have been listening to this band since the beginning. They have grown so much musically and I mean damn they are just killing it. I am shocked that they don't get more exposure by AP. Look at the bands Spotify listener count! Keep on fellas

I remember watching TWA open for Alesana around 2008. I don't consider myself a fan of theirs, but I have enjoyed watching their success. They'll always have my respect.
I loved their stuff with Craig Mabbitt and the Empire EP and Deciever album were killer. I kinda fell out of the loop with Life Cycles and most of their material after. It should be fun to check out their newest stuff :)
They were amazing live. One of the best live performances I’ve ever heard. So it’s surprising to learn Telle wasn’t comfortable with screaming for a while. I’m glad he found his voice. ❤️
Been a fan since Craig made this project. You can definitely see the lineup changes throughout the years impacted this band heavily, and they’ve had A LOT lol. I like songs from every record but their biggest problem to me was that every record sounds completely different, they never had a “sound”. But this new record I think they nailed it. And major major props for grinding through all these years👏🏻
@@omega458 Oh I forgot about him.... I think I remember reading somewhere that Telle said they had somewhat patched things up, but don't quote me on that
Been with these guys since deceiver, so amazing to see these guys still going strong. I feel like many bands I got into along with TWA have called it quits and its unfortunate. I'm just glad they didn't go down that path!
I wish I talked to you back in 2012 when I walked right by you sitting at a table at the show you guys played at and me and my friends old band in cinci Ohio. You just awkwardly waved at me and I awkwardly waved back. Haha
Jimmy Hunter sorry but why would they talk about that? There is no point and none of them but the guitarists were the band at the time plus it wasn’t even released so it doesn’t even count in their discography tbh it’s just demos
Jimmy Hunter Craig and Telle already covered that part of their history in depth a few years ago and Telle thought it would be redundant to discuss it again. th-cam.com/video/SXj_OiqfaN4/w-d-xo.html
It’s a shame that all this covid shit happened literally right after they dropped the album because like you said, every damn song on that album is touching. It’s a fucking masterpiece and even more of a masterpiece if you’re on that spiritual level with music in general. Had covid not happened and bands were unable to tour, this album DEFINITELY would have got the recognition that it deserved!! I mean honestly, if they make another album in the future better than this one I will be shocked. These guys are fucking talented, especially Telle.
Thank you AP for having us and to the TWA family for 10+ years of support all over the world! Just getting started => We hope you love MONOMANIA!
The Word Alive We absolutely do! Thanks so much for being so candid and generous with your time. Congratulations on an amazing album! 🤘

I was up for almost 48 hours when this interview was shot. I actually learned a lot about the band though! Super fun! Thankyou AP for having us :)
Hopefully you got some good sleep afterwards, king. Congratulations on the new record, you guys did so well. ❤
Matt Horn It was a genuine pleasure to get to speak with you. Thanks so much for your time and perspective. 🤘
Matt Horn that’s so funny you learned a lot about the band your in by hearing the lead man talk lol

I love the new album. Every song on it in someway touches me emotionally. Well done gentlemen!
I can't believe I forgot their new album came out.. I've been a fan of these guys since 2011.
2008 fan here ^_^ square up! lol jk TWA = love

thank you twa. the album is so fucking great. see you in Orlando baby
Violent Noise is such a masterpiece in my opinion. All songs are distinctive, different got their own vibe to it. I’m thankful for this album

Love this! Keep it up :)
Goal Digger THANKS SO MUCH!!
I love that they're still homies with their old band members. Their old drummer Justin still comes out sometimes in Portland to drum 2012
what about tony A? I heard stuff went down with him

Badou lam nope I love it

Funny how REAL and Life Cycles are my favourite albums from them, and it seems to be their least favourite
Worst trade deal this band ever made was trading Craig for Telly...as great of an album Deceiver was,all their music has always been stale
