A lot of artists uses samples and if they like the sample they’ll purchase it so they can use it for the song, like for example cardi b, she used someone else’s beat and background voices for “I like it like that” song. And more than a handful uses Micheal Jackson’s samples. Usually rappers always buy off samples from other people but even normal singers would buy them too, Blackpink and their music producers,managers, etc aren’t doing anything wrong, they are just becoming more like a normal famous artist.

The members don't write the songs they are not allowed to have creative input on their song YG does not allow them to. Usually rappers always buy off samples from other people but even normal singers would buy them too, Blackpink and their music producers,managers, etc aren’t doing anything wrong, they are just becoming more like a normal famous artist.
