I saw vid with some GoPro athlete and he was saying if you use a lighter you can burn the protective coating off the lense, similar to how you do it to a snorkeling mask. Dunno if I’d be too scared to take a lighter to a $700 camera though. I’ll still get one though, just for the hyper smooth!
Damn sounds like it’s worth a try! There’s literally nothing you can do to prevent the drops. The old 💦 👅 trick makes it worse. I appreciate the advice though, probably give it a go after seeing more water drops ruin my footage 😂

For the water droplets I’d say maybe a tiny bit of coconut oil rubbed on the lense with a smooth rubber glove or something like that
