There is no such thing as western astrology... it is when a westerner comes to India and fills his pocket with whatever knowledge he can retain (which honestly is not even peanuts) and translates into English or some other Western language by writing a half baked book - that becomes his ticket to name and fame. Western society is unable to take Indian knowledge and if they take they can't give credit to Indian sources. It's their poverty

Hello Pt. Rath, I am not sure this is the appropriate forum to ask this question but here goes...Is the concept of Tithi Shoonya Rasi to be taken into account for reading a chart? I am seeing some charts and I find this to be relevant but there could be other considerations that may decide the outcome and I could have wrongly attributed it to shoonya, hence asking a scholar like you. As an example, Aquarius lagna, panchami; both Budha rasis are shoonya; Mars, a functional malefic, sits with Saturn in the 8th kanya. I see this has caused no damage to saturn in a chart. Your opinion is kindly requested.

Tithi is the same degree of Sun and moon only. It will happen every year. The date will not be same every year. If you take tithi then most of the years date won't be same and if you take birth date then tithi won't be same. For tithi pravesh, tithi is considered not date. If anyone born on Baisakha Sukla shahthi, then every year on Baisakha Sukla shahthi will be the tithi pravesh of that particular year.

More precisely it depends upon the tithi of your birth. The most general remedy used to worship Someshwar Mahadev.

Shiva is the creator of sun.....why you equate them.....
