The Ancient Forest theme went from a cool and cinematic theme whilst playing MHW to "this-is-the-shit's-about-to-go-down" theme of all time for the channel 😅😂 it works still ngl
Making a reference to the many times something bad is currently happening, Ancient Forest Theme goes full blast. Example being the Subnautica Stalker encounter
222 EPISODES SINCE THE FISH OR NOT FISH DOCUMENTARY PROMISE, NOW CONFIRMED FOR APRIL 2025! If it is not given to us by then, we shall shrink Josh down and throw him into a pit with a ravenous Wolf Spider!
When you hand in the first super chip, more Mosquitos spawn into the game. Purchase multi-story bases so that you can expand your base using scaffolding and floors. Your coziness level is tied to variety of things you have around you, wall mount (which have a purpose) walls and a roof, stuffed bugs and other decorations. You missed a figurine in the pond lab, it is in the small under water section of the lab.
Btw two important thing i recomend you to do. Search for something that you missed at the hedge lab. Its extremelly important. My best advice to find it is its higher on the zone of the lab and you can see it from outside the hedge. The second advice is to search for something in the brick wall.
Since it didn't look like you guys picked them up: the dandelion tufts (there was one by the crow at the end) can be used to slow your fall and what not so you 1 don't die and 2 have some lateral movement while falling.
21:29 Just gonna ignore the possibility of, unless driven to extinction, those Tadpoles growing into gargantuan nightmares Those wall-eyes will spell your doom
As someone who also enjoys the big "Ungga-Bungga" weapons, barbarian isn't that good. The extra damage is great, but being able to perfect block is actually pretty important, and the tier 3 clubs do just so much damage anyway. And you enrage when you hit something with a weapon keyed to the mutation, it's a slight pinkish-reddish haze on the screen edge.
I remember you guys had a bow at the first video, which is why I keep screaming at my screen whenever you get in fights and die (or get sniped by ranged flying enemies) to use your bows ffs XD
Focusing on parries(perfect blocks) felt necessary on my game once I started fighting tier 2 insects. Maybe you should try it some more, it really changed my mind on the gameplay. Also, pressing 'X' makes you zoom, and then pressing E on an enemy scans it, giving you weaknesses.
So Josh, the BEST base location is the lantern that's on the backside of the pond (the one with the Coin and outpost). No enemy can get out there naturally, so it's one of the safest locations in the game. It's also a tad out of the way, however, so it takes a while to get anywhere.
@@Ellhaim unless you custom it so you don't need supports that's far too much work, besides you can just get on top of the lantern and go from there to the upper yard, the picnic table and the sandbox.
Muscle sprouts can be grown in planters. I would highly reccomend this, as fuzz on the rocks beefy smoothies are one of the best healing things you can have
Josh not realizing how many bugs there are on the planet... Biomass wise, for every pound of human there are around 16 pounds of bugs. Granted they aren't as evenly populated like it is in the game but my god there are so many ants on the planet. Like if every ant actually decided to hunt humans, that would actually make an extreme threat.
I kinda wish they'd make a seperate channel for their pro and noob stuff, I love these videos, but my feed is just filled with all their other stuff that I don't really watch.
Just checking since you guys thought about duping crow feathers, did you find the resource scanner you unlocked last time? Check the machines in any of the outposts.
I’m really tempted to backseat here since I’ve played Grounded a lot, but just because I want to be helpful so the can enjoy the game more and not get frustrated. For now, I’ll just assuage that urge by saying that you don’t need to stop and pick up every individual arrow on the ground. The characters will automatically do that by walking over them, the “pick it up” part is for when an arrow lands in a small nook or cranny. NOBODY would use arrows in this game, especially in the various boss fights if they had to stop and grab every single arrow off the ground in the middle of combat, lol.
(Technically) 222 Proobs in and there's still no Fish or Not Fish Documentaru 🐟🦀🌙🐌🐢 If you do not fulfill your statement of April FONF Doc, we shall make you play that old, dull playstation game Sea Monsters that (from what I recall) has no instructions!
Grounded episodes are slowly but surely turning back into the Raft shenanigans way back when and I'm all in for it.

Is that something that happened here, or are you making a reference to another video?

@@Jyharri so it didn't play in this video, then?
19:51 You can take the Hunter out of the hunt, but not the hunt out of the Hunter.
Watching games where you can play together are always more fun than single player ones.
5:06 That caught me so off guard XD
14:23 thats the wolf spider reaction we wanted to see.
You joined the club now.

This is becoming my favorite pro and noob so far. The ant game was really great but this being co-op was nice. Thank you Patreon!

I love watching you guys do survival games because the resource management between cotton's chaos and josh always panicking is so entertaining
So good to see this serie continue.
Hope they finish it.
Yeaaaa I love seeing new people pick up grounded. Hope you guys finish the game. Its such a good one!
Yaaay more Grounded! 😁 thanks guys

Knowing how much is in the game makes me very excited to see there reactions to everything.
Or a whale size loaf of bread..
Wohhhh!! Another Grounded episode!!🎉
16:53 Dyno has come home
Cotton is doing a wonderful Odin cosplay(eyepatch and spear)
I always love the sorta pulp fiction style technology in these kinds of games.

Glad that they figured out why you can build fortifications

Couple of hobos living on top of a log. I'd had an entire house, food farm and defensive walls built by getting the pond base.

I like building a ring base high up around the big tree. Then I just make zip lines everywhere.

@Lunaraia Yeah, it's a lot of work, but it's pretty cool when done.

Hey Josh, eventually you guys will get to a point in this were you cut through wolf spiders like a hot knife through butter.
Just checking since you guys thought about duping crow feathers, did you find the resource scanner you unlocked last time? Check the machines in any of the outposts.
I wonder if they'll ever realize that they can equip Dandelion Tufts as gliders, to avoid fall damage. . .

This is the best way to kill time till wilds
Yeah, dinos.
i wonder if they will encounter something even worse than a spider soon....
Huh...guess we shoulda told them theres a bed in the pond base they coulda used for a spawn point
It’s odd watching people build a base… without floors and walls
Wolf spiders are a teir 2 spider there a 3 more worse spiders good luck
Actually 4 including bosses. IWS, BW, HBM, IBM
It would be all right to turn on the arachnophobia mode. We won't pillory you for it
