The threading shown is not exactly as per the manual but it works with the thread I'm using for the demonstration. Sometimes threading through the extra holes introduces too much pre-tension.

I've just watched the section on the bobbin winding, the instruction manual isn't as helpful as I'd like but your video made it much easier. Had mine for a couple of months now, but today is the first time I've had a chance to use it due to other stuff going on. Loving it so far! Thank you so much for posting this, I can see it's going to be my bible from now on.

hi, thank you for sharing this video. I have just bought this machine and I love it. The only problem i have is the presser foot height. Its not high enough only reaching about 10mm. How do I make it higher? I'm scared of breaking the machine. TIA. Donnella
Look in the manual, it’s related to the black round circular thing tower thingey you see on the top left of the machine to increase the height slightly. Don’t pull it all the way or it will pop off… just gently. Also, use your knee press when you raise the take up lever on the back, which you can also then raise slightly higher by pushing up on it more

It likes any jeans weight thread… or from tex 69 up…. I prefer to use tex 80/tkt 30 thread -- polyester (which can be linty)…..or Nylbond/nylon( though that’s really slippery thread). At a pinch Mara 100 but if using sew-all, you’ll probably need to double as it’s very thin for this machine
Hi. An auto foot lifter is put on machines so that you don't have to manually lift the foot with the knee lever. This is single needle only but there are twin needle machines available. Thanks.
Have you tried under downloads on the Zoje site? There’s a video on YT if you search Zoje Control Box that shows you where they are, or you can take screenshots from this video :)
Sorry, just a friendly note.....You’ve actually slightly threaded it wrong at that second 2-hole hook (The first 3-hole one on top is correct in your video, it IS only supposed to go through those 2 holes the way you have it) But that second 2-hole loop at 7:24...as per the manual, it is supposed to come in from the back of the top hole and wrap around to come back in again through the back of the bottom hole before going into that small pre-tensioner top disk. (As per #3 on Figure 11, page 8 of the Manual) Love my Zoje 0303, had it since Oct 2017 🤗
Thanks. I found that with the thread I was using, threading through the pre-tensioner put too much tension on the thread I was using. I should have threaded it correctly for the video's sake though. Cheers.
I HAVE done a little plain line quilting with mine, just 1-2 layers batting or 1 batting/1 Insulbrite and 2 fabric, for like oven mitts etc, but it is a medium/heavy fabric/vinyl shuffle/walking foot industrial machine not a plainsewer industrial machine and straight lockstitch only, no zig zag....and not made for freemotion as such by dropping the feeddogs. I actually freemotion with my cheaper Brother or Bernina machine, this Zoje is for my bagmaking/vinyl :)

Hi. The full compound walking foot is a better type of feeding mechanism but it depends on what you're looking at sewing. Thanks.
