Jon, one more thing.. I was actually thinking of the fijian word.. 'wakha'.... as in 'roots'... for the name that steph and you and your dad came up with for your set up.. i thought that must have been the reason.. anyway... choice..

Bula Re Waka family, what an inspirational story you guys have during these crazy uncertain Covid times. You guys are lucky enough to be ahead of the pack that are still reassessing their whole work/lifestyle due to just about everything thats going on in the world today like, Covid, Climate Change, Trumpism, Racial Politics, Geo Politics etc. . . I hope to be back home myself in a couple of years with business ideas. Hopefully your story would inspire others in the Fijian diaspora around the world to take that leap of faith back home that they've been contemplating this past year while quarantining. Moce mada and all the very best to your ventures. 🙏🏽

Waka in Fijian means roots… so really you guys are taking your family back to “the roots” so yeah, great choice!!! It literally is what you guys are doing … going back to your “waka” / ie “roots”!

Well done thus far to your new startup business in Fiji, well planned with how you've incorporated Vlogging. Your success is the unity you have with your wife and how well you both work together. She is an incredible women on how she has enthusiastically embraced another culture having fun. I hope to resume my Fiji business on my return but better planned but definitely the opportunities are there but more like a pioneer. Portuguese, i also learnt as i spent 3 months in Brazil but forgot most of it now and my Fijian isn't that great either. Keep the good work going. love from the UK where its cold and miserable

Love to watch all your episodes. You two make a lovely couple and beautiful children. Wish you all the success in Fiji. My parents were from wailevu. Are you thinking of exporting kava to Brisbane?

Maybe watermelon but not pineapple. My uncle is a big pineapple apple farmer very close to us and we try very hard not to compete with any family members.

Just thought I'd drop in that Māori came to Aotearoa from across Moana nui a kiwa not just Hawai'i. They also have their own creation stories that originate from the whenua of Aotearoa.
