A Night at The Whaley House

Good Morning San Diego's David Davis & I were sent on assignment... Our mission was to spend the night at San Diego's iconic Whaley House & search for any signs of paranormal activity. Did we find any?

While standing in the courthouse I saw in my minds eye a small doorway right below ceiling level and a petite woman sweeping dirt' I mentioned this to a guide' who informed that dust storms frequently would bury the structure and that it would make sense that Anna would be sweeping the dust.

it smells musty as fudge and air is thick in there. I took pictures with my iphone and found an orb and what looked like smoke clouds on some images. Its worth visiting

My wife and I visited this place just once. We were sitting in the courtroom when we heard music like that played by a Harpsichord. Weird! Then later as we were about to leave we were talking to one of the docents by the front door when we all saw the cloth covered chain that keeps people out of the living room swing back and forth as if someone slapped it. I asked the docent, "What was that?" She replied, "Just spirit activity!" There was no one near it. Is that placed haunted? You be the judge.

I went there and when I was in the dining room I felt a small hand on me leg and when I was leaving a heard the sound of toenails on the hardwood like a small dog

I was there in SD two weeks ago around the corner of the house. I regret not going inn:( Our kids were sleeping and I figured we would go later but got lazy. Who knows when we'll go back.

But did you guys really took the time to analyze the EVPs? Down load the data that you acquired onto a computer, use a wave length app, and turn the volume up on the computer. I have caught some actual replies when I used to visit that place

Interesting to see that the 2013 film, The Haunting at Whaley House, based the set closely on the real house - the film-room, shop, etc. The dramatisation showed a lot more activity on the EVP, though!

I have never went to the Whaley house but i have went to the Winchester house and when i looked in a mirror there was a face looking at me with a scared look

i went there once and some guy was talking about how one of the daughters (the one that killed herself) husband cheated on her and he started talking to her about that and the books on her vanity got pushed over and made a hugeee noise the worker ran over and asked what happened and asked the man to leave
