Alright Chris, for what it's worth. I've never commented on your videos before. But I am happy for you and Gabby. I've been following you guys off & on. Keeping tabs on your progress with the sanctuary. Patiently waiting for "Your" crocodiliens to arrive. I have Mad respect for anyone who can interact with a crocodile like that. The calm energy that you possess & the way you interact is just next level to me. And this new female Akirra... Akita...? Her present behavior, & should she stay this way. Well my friend. She's the crocodile you deserve. You've earned it. The universe has spoken. Best of luck to you both. I look forward to many more interactions & the progress moving forward. May GOD Bless!

Don’t let other peoples comments or lack of intelligent affect your amazing effort and strides that you have accomplished!
Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that there is so much disgusting and negative disturbing content out there, and I find that that’s what people are watching goes to show the lack of intelligence the lack of care or concern for their own planet.
I know the algorithm does play such a huge part when it comes to social media, but I also know that the lack of care for the world that we live in and the morbid curiosity of human beings seems to have overtaken a lot of social media. It’s sickens me of entertainment content. .
But there are people that are super excited and proud of everything you guys were accomplished, and how amazing life that you have created for you and your wife could only dream and dream for many years of having my own sanctuary watching you gives me so much joy so much pleasure and seeing the hard work and the great achievements you have accomplished and all the great stuff that you have done for the creatures that you have in your care and I thank you for sharing with us.!❤

It was so cool when Gabby asked, "Do you think she sees it," with regard to the meat Akila didn't take, and Chris said "Umhm," moved back a tad, and Akila snapped it up. He really knows his stuff. The training was fascinating. Your sanctuary is looking fantastic. I hope Bella eats for you soon. Everything is just so fun there. The emus are hysterical. I ended up seeing the reveal party before this video, so I already know! I think they just want to hang out with you all the time. We had a goose that would pinch the crap out of us. It does hurt...BAD. Are the maras purring? Poppy just wants belly rubs...over FOOD! The night check! Love the nocturnal visit! Your efforts are VERY appreciated. I'm very happy for you in your endeavors. A most enjoyable channel. You take such great care of all the animals, and it shows. Look at it this way, Chris. Those people that ask about the past, ask because they are so impressed with your history, as well as your present. Your body of work is so impressive. Using myself as an example, I only recently learned of you and your adventures, and it started with the past adventures that you had. Those are very impressive, and though you have moved on, from my perspective, it's all very fresh still for me, and maybe that's where these people are coming from? It's your past that built your present. Without that past, your present would not be what it is. I desired to learn more, and found GatorChris. I immediately subscribed and I look for new videos constantly, because I am so excited about your present and future! For the actual Trolls, [and there are ALWAYS Trolls], they have empty lives and to fill it, they say crappy things to get attention. Pity them, that this is their existence. You and Gabby ROCK!! THANK YOU, for what you have done, and more importantly what you are doing now! I'm just one person, but I'll wager that there are many more like me who value what you are doing. 🙂🙂👌👌

      @archaeologyfornon-archaeol1014 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

I think many of the crocs at Australia Zoo are very large rescues, brought from the wild, to avoid them being killed; very different animals. As I remember, Steve felt they needed the stimulus of exploding from the water. He was always very careful when capturing them, not to stress them out and he mentioned that more than once.

    • @callanmurphy9807

The reason they show that is cause it sells tickets that's all. They're all salties at Australia zoo too mate, this is a nile croc from Africa. Much the same though, been a few videos of somewhat placid salties before.

Chris and gabby I think what I love the most about yall is how honest you are. About the animals and the comments you get. Y’all have come so far and done so much and saved so many animals. You even said in the beginning that Casper belonged to the place you worked and would not be coming to the sanctuary. The sanctuary is that a place to save animals that need actual saving…. Casper’s already been saved. He never belonged to Chris. Why would they buy an animal (that he works with - doesn’t mean he doesn’t love Casper- but that is his job) when there are SO MANY that need saving. That need a safe place. Thats what a sanctuary is. Thank yall for what you do. There aren’t enough thank yous. There aren’t enough people that show appreciation for what people like Chris and Gabby. This world needs more people like Chris and Gabby. If more people could show a once of compassion or a once of caring about something other than themselves, maybe we wouldn’t be where we are as a people. Not to get political… I love y’all’s honesty and I think it also brings awareness to things we may not have known. Like people reaching out to place that owns Casper. Are you fing kidding me? Who does that? That’s not your place or your business!!! I had no idea !! That is awful!!!

Can I also say that I absolutely hate Gator Boys. Only seen one episode but all I needed to see. Didn’t even know Chris was on it until about year after I started watching him and gabby on the other channel. I’ve learned more about alligators from Chris than any other channel I follow. Just bc he was on that show doesn’t make him part of the “things that went on” and again only saw one episode. No gator was killed but one was hurt and I just don’t agree with purposely hurting any animals for any reason that you aren’t planning to eat. But I don’t think of Chris any less…. Just bc he was on a show doesn’t mean he is the show. And a lot of that stuff is fake and scripted and setup so you never really know what’s real and what not. What I do know is what Chris is taught in his videos (on both channels) I’ve found to be very helpful and accurate. People are big and bad ass sitting behind a computer screen. But I’ll never understand how people can be cruel or so intrusive into someone’s life. It’s not a right that we get to see what they do at the sanctuary. Thats a privilege bc THEY WANT TO SHARE IT. they don’t have too. People should remember that. It’s about the animals at the end of the day. Thank y’all for all yall do for the animals. This world needs more people like both of you 😊

Hi Chris and Gabby! Akila is amazing. Thanks for sharing your early interactions with her. I hope Bella will soon understand she is safe and you can begin training with her too. Know that your worth and all the incredible accomplishments you have both achieved is not determined, measured or affected by anyone else (whether their comments are positive or negative). Your worth is absolute and undeniable. Most humans are very unconscious and deeply lack self awareness, it’s just part of our humanity. And they can only function at their level of consciousness. Don’t let them bring you down to their level. Feel your feelings about this and then know you can let it go. You can even send peaceful thoughts to the haters. Keep your energy and vibrations high and more of the same will come to you (and so is it true when you focus on the negative, you will experience more). And know that everything that challenges us is an opportunity for our own growth. You have such a wonderful community there hat supports you, so many lovely comments. Let that love, support and grateful energy fill your hearts. Wishing you ongoing success in this exciting journey and I so appreciate that you share it with us. I don't think people are intentionally being rude or mean. They just get attached to the animals, and want to see them. It doesn't mean we aren't impressed with all you've accomplished, and excited about your progress. I, for one, think you're doing an amazing job! And I hope you continue to hsve great sussess!

Also, I love how much Poppy prefers to be petted over food. Does he "wahoo" for you when you see him, too?

I didn't see the comment about Casper. Is it possible that people may not watch regularly, are happy for you, but didn't realize that Casper was owned by another facility. Could it have been an innocent question about what somebody thought was your animal? I for one am impressed by the unbelievable faculty you have created and incredible care you give the animals, I could not be happier for you and your exiting new addition!
Your negativity toward uneducated viewers will only drive them away. You can't expect the casual viewer to understand the work you have put in. Each new viewer will, even ignorant viewers, will allow you to do more for the animals.
Ignore the haters and give grace to the ignorant.

Wow that’s fantastic. Just goes to show how intelligent these beautiful creatures really are and how quickly they can learn.!
I know that no amount of training would allow you to let your guard down at any time, but it can give you a little more confident.
I know working animal is always happier great for mental and emotional stimulation.

Hello Chris, Gabby, and your critter family. I have been watching your channel Chris with Casper and now I can watch you all build your sanctuary and animal family. I have always thought reptiles were more intelligent than most thought. 😊 🐊 you both are living a dream once a phantasmagorical goal but now the real deal. So cool. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 congratulations

Btw I am 63 and disabled and sometimes my voice to text writes things I did not intend it to. 😂 But I understand the hard work and sacrifice you two put into your sanctuary. Ran domestic animal rescues, my oldest daughter ran a big reptile rescue, my mom rehabbed woodland critters etc it isn’t easy. Not one bit, but it is soooooo worth it. I am trying to get a small sanctuary or protected area for California’s Amphibians. They are endangered in general then there are the specific species that are near extinction. Stay true to your goals both of you. Try to ignore the trolls and jealous ones.

I'm just finishing this episode and I just genuinely cant help but feel so freakin happy and proud of you and gabby. You guys are acomplishing something so incredible, something that will last decades hopefully. Youre committing your life to a purpose bigger than just you. Its so inspiring how dedicated you are to every single one of your animals. I'm so excited for Chris to be able to help save otherwise doomed alligators and give them a safe, clean environment. With a steady feeding routine, they can just enjoy their time without the worry of being captured and killed. ❤️ You have been working on this project for probably longer than 2 decades all in all! That is something that i wish more people understood the magnitude of. So much of your personal money that you busted your ass for is going into fulfilling this dream. You are a incredible human being Chris. Akila is so lucky to have to as her trainer. I CANNOT wait to see more footage of you interacting with her. (And Bella girl when she gets more comfortable) Also in the vlogs i really love just enjoying the animals eating, except the foxes because Hazel's banshee screaming is pretty bonkers lmao. 😂 Im sorry people are so dogshit online. i wish all your viewers were nice, normal, well adjusted people and not creeps and weirdos but alas. Keep your head up, thanks for continuing to show us your life with the animals. There is so many of us who genuinely support you. ❤️
And Gabby! Happy mothers day!!! ❤️ You are a mom to i dont even know how many babys!! Thats crazy to think of all the mouths youre feeding gourmet meals too every day. I know you do specific research for each animal and cater to what will nourish them the absolute best. I love seeing the meals you make for them, theyre always made with so much love and attention. 🥺 You are really one of a kind girl. I hope you treated yourself to something special today. Even though the twats in the comments think youre not allowed to use your personal money to get your nails done. ☠️ They really dont understand how non profits work, its really depressing that people are so stupid. But! Anyways, you are doing a great job Gabby. Youre a great camera woman too by the way, very steady hands. 😂❤️
I'm just a strange 23 year old girl from Canada. But i love yall genuinely. Omg also the Emu gender reveal cakes were so cute!!! You did a great job on the lil party for them. 💕

Chris, I made this comment previously, but you and Gabby are living my dream. I think it would be wonderful to have acres and acres of woodlands with all kinds of animals and no humans for miles and miles. Congratulations on your beautiful sanctuary and thank you for saving all the precious animals. Please try to ignore the negative comments. Those people aren’t worth getting upset over. Just focus all your energy on your sanctuary and your sweet animals. I’m thrilled to know you have a Nile crocodile. They are amazing and such a perfect example of a powerful apex predator. God bless you and Gabby. Hugs from Tennessee.
