Love the content Richard , nice viewing again . I'm sure you have told us previously but what is the history of your farm ? You've mentioned your dad , was he the original farmer /owner or did his father grandad own it before him , is he still involved running it or has he retired . How big is the farm . You farm on land up to eight miles away , thats a good trip in a tractor with machinery is it another farm you own or just farmland you use ? I'm not being nosey but you have the knack of telling decent stories and I'm sure your history would be an interesting one for us your viewers . Regards.
Hello Richard that 650 looked a good tractor claas are a bloody good tractor I have been getting some muck out why it’s been frosty what’s that slug on your ollys nose lol keep up the good work 👍👍
good to see the evenings finally start to draw out - 5:30 used to be a key time for me back in the day because it was the time I left the office and it was a real pick up to leave the office in day light. Congrats on the new tractor - look forward to the detail review once it arrives
Hi Richard, herefords are looking well - i like the airy barn they're in. Looking forwards to see how the 650 goes, appreciate your pragmatic sensible view on the different tractors. At the end everyone wants a dependable tool for good value that makes the job easier, bonus if its enjoyable doing it. Its a while back now but seeing the Magnum on the plough was cool.
Good to see the herefords, calves coming on well.Hope the new tractor works well for you,be good to see in action.Good home made tool that log splitter.
Love the Worzell Gumidge comment. My kids wouldn't know what that was either. Lol!! Only heard good things about Claas tractors so hopefully it'll be good for you. How many hours on it?
Well you've one 650 and if you're happy with it, it makes sense to get another. Stick with what you know and like. Log splitter is just the job, beats swinging an axe any day , unless you're cold.
Here's a thing I don't understand about Claas, the tractors don't seem to make huge money but their harvesters and combines are well regarded. Was wondering if those tank transporters were heading to move some Challenger 2 tanks overseas? Get Olly to chop some logs and take a bag for that pub if you decide you need a pint again 😂😂
I run a Claas Axion 820 contracting on the Isle of Man, good tractor so far, and £20000 cheaper than the other colours for the same HP and condition of other makes !
Finding spaldings are cheaper than pan anglia ... we've been pan anglia for many years but swapped back to spaldings as we was finding the pan anglia stuff wasn't fitting as nice but also there not the cheapest anymore
How much of a price difference is between a class and a new Holland of the same year and spec ? , when you have finished with your NH it’s worth good money for export unlike class
We have four high hour NH tractors and give very little trouble but They all give there share of trouble , but the value of a second hand higher hour class is very little compared to a NH
Had a NH 7210 brakes failed at 1500 hours with little road work and lots of small sensor problems on other NH, but FPT engines are brilliant thats why I now have a claas 800. True though 2nd hand value isn't that good, far underrated
Oli's 630 is lovely tractor to drive and yes we did head gasket, but that is a fault with the Deere engine , had nothing to do with NH so can't comment , were buying tractors at 5000 hrs when depreciation has slowed down , so isnt a issue , the new to us 650 was at trade money , with no guarantee , so take your chance cheers for watching Rich
All pubs are the same mate my mum don't go to pub much nowadays cuz it's freezing in them and they don't put the heating on or the fire 🔥 why pay for a pint to sit freezing ya bollucks off
Keep em coming Richard, every day is different and even if it isn’t, we love watching what you and the team are up to. Proper Yorkshire, no bull.
After working in farming my self for 50 years. Is nice to find a Channel shows down to earth farming. With no bull to it . Keep them coming Richard

Love the Worzell Gumidge comment. My kids wouldn't know what that was either. Lol!!
Only heard good things about Claas tractors so hopefully it'll be good for you.

Great vid 👍 nice class tractor hopefully it will do well 👍 doesn't matter what make as long as you have a good dealer backup🤞
Well you've one 650 and if you're happy with it, it makes sense to get another. Stick with what you know and like.
Log splitter is just the job, beats swinging an axe any day , unless you're cold.
Great video 👌
Totally agree about cold pubs 😮
Great update keep em coming.
Buy what suits Richard. 👍
Good choice Richard with claas we have both massey and class and like both makes .
Claas tractors still got that Renault stigmer connected to them i think, but they were ok tractors, cheers Rich
Always told only land work in frosty weather was muck spreading / carting. Never plough frozen soil under ground chills the whole top structure
I run a Claas Axion 820 contracting on the Isle of Man, good tractor so far, and £20000 cheaper than the other colours for the same HP and condition of other makes !
The lads and lases which say there crap ,probably never had nothing to do with them, cheers Rich
I bet that header came from olie blogs after his summer mishap haha 😄 😆.
I remember that accident last year, Christ time has flown. 👍👍🇬🇧
Great vid, you need a creep feeder for your calves.
There's a bucket in there nursery , not eating alot, starting to pick among silage , really doing well cheers Rich
Not being tight.... it's your money, your choice in tractors, etc. u buy fella,
Hi, what is the asking price for that 650, thanks
Was 50 k ,but we buy our tractors at trade price , with no guarantee , buy what you see, but at big discount cheers Rich
Finding spaldings are cheaper than pan anglia ... we've been pan anglia for many years but swapped back to spaldings as we was finding the pan anglia stuff wasn't fitting as nice but also there not the cheapest anymore
You will soon sort out the tractor's paint
How much of a price difference is between a class and a new Holland of the same year and spec ? , when you have finished with your NH it’s worth good money for export unlike class

Brakes failing can be caused by the operator or using trailers which don’t have brakes , we have a T 7 with 9k hrs and haven’t touched the brakes
I don’t know these young uns. Doesn’t know who Worzel Gummidge was. Just wondering 💭 if owd Gummidge had a knob head on some days 🤔
Our Oli has a Knob head on most days
All pubs are the same mate my mum don't go to pub much nowadays cuz it's freezing in them and they don't put the heating on or the fire 🔥 why pay for a pint to sit freezing ya bollucks off
No point at all Karl ,Thanks for watching cheers Rich
Id advise you to chop the beat from experience, unfortunately
Choking can be a real issue leading to death unfortunately.
