Reflex lenses are just magical. I have three of them. My favorite one is Samyang 300mm f6.3 for Micro Four Thirds. I use it a lot. Very small, light, and it's closest focus is 90 cm. If Kase makes a version for M3/4, then I'll probably have four mirror lenses.
They make it mft, I'll buy it, lol. But it would need to be 100 mm so it stays the same as 200. Not that interested in a 400mm artys lens. Very cool effects though
I think this would work better with my Zf than m43 since it has a limiting aperture but love the idea. I like pairing my Zf with old glass with my most recent being a really clean Tair-11. Took a while to get it from the Ukraine but fun lens with character.
Ist it for real? 660€ for a manual fix aperture 5.6 donut lens😮. People really have too much money this days. A used Nikon 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6 costs 35€ with autofocus, zoom, 87mm long, 330g weight …
As Homer Simpson would say: mmmm........donuts

A 350mm on MFT mount with long focus throw and no bigger than a can of soda for $400 would be interesting.
Used to love the Sigma and Tamron mirror lenses. As you say Jimmy, let’s hope they make a version for MFT.
tokina have it!!!

Would this still have the same quality bokeh if used on APS C?
In a way, because of the crop factor, the equivalent depth of field will be a bit deeper, but adjusting your distance can get similar result.

THIS DROM AND GOOD
No m4/3??
I really like donut bokeh. But ring lenses are not very sharp, and have low contrast. That always kills it for me.

Bokeh is definitely an acquired taste!
