Hello Kenny, I am eleven years old and I live on a small farm in Wisconsin. I am really enjoying watching you work on this tractor, as I eventually want to buy a farmall m to work on myself. I drive a h on our farm here, it is really fun to drive! I almost bought a farmall H about a year ago but it had only thee cylinders and all of them were seized. Still looking to buy a h or m sometime anyway though. Wilson Fink-
Thank you, Wilson!! Glad you are enjoying the videos. It's great to see young people like yourself taking an interest in this hobby. You really can't go wrong with an H or M. Both are legendary tractors. Stay tuned!!
Looking amazing buddy, man after seeing this I’m embarrassed to get mine out of the barn. I’m gonna get started on my H after I get all of the planting done. Although yours is gonna be 100 times better when it’s finished. I don’t think there’s another H in the country that Looks as good as yours, it’s definitely one of a kind
Thank you, Craig. You've gotta start somewhere, and this wouldn't be possible without so many great people supporting this project. It's been a monumental task, but it's been a lot of fun and we've created a lot of great friendships throughout. Look forward to seeing your H as you progress as well!
Very glad to hear you are pleased with the results (so far). Might have to just get another piece of iron just so you can dedicate one to a restoration! (LOL)... There I am promoting the purchase of more antique tractors again! :-)
glad I found your video. turns out my 53 super M had the clamps and bolts on backwards. will be much easier to put the wheels back on with the clamps on the inside first. thank you.
I also liked how you mentioned where you got your bolts . up here in Canada zinc plated at the local shop were $22 bucks. so I called fastenal and got them for $10 thanks again.
AWESOME! Rims and tires from Titan look great. People may want to wear sunglasses when looking at all that red in the sunlight. 😃 Congrats on reaching 4K subs too. 🇺🇸🚜👍
double pin the rollpins. when dad had a power steering unit put on our H the installer used 1 rollpin in the shortened steering shaft. i was using a loader on the H and sheared off the split pin so we double pinned them and never had any more problems or just use grade 8 bolts
Now that you mention it, I may just install Grade 8 hardware. It would be easier to change if necessary, in case the tractor ever needs splitting again. Great idea!
HF 36221 drill press lock down pliers. HF 92046 self centering drill press V block will do amazing things for cheap. should be able to get both for a $20. and change. you might get 2 of the drill press lock down pliers.
Hey Kenny your H is really looking good,. Really enjoy watching your Videos I'm restoring a 1949 H, and have learned a lot especially the transmission and differential video what size is your rear tires
go for a ride. are you going to build a 3 point mounted 2 or 3 bottom plow that has bucket seats and 5 point seat belts instead.. with an automotive hub and bearing assembly mounted straight down and a custom fork made up so it has a big swivel wheel behind the seats..
Nice progress, looking forward to the paint video, that’s something I want to start doing myself. Side note, have you heard anything about the Nowthen show? Full steam ahead?
I believe they will be making a decision in the next 30 days. I need to train myself how to paint as well. Been trying to learn from Domino but I just don't do it enough.
Kenny Kizzle Rusty Nutz Ranch hope it stays on the schedule. A few in the Oliver club are considering putting on a tractor drive just to have something for members to do and a raise a few bucks to keep the club going. Nice work. Catch you later.
Almost done there, its looking good man! Do you plan on restoring it back to 6v or keep it at 12v? You plan on doing any pulls in the future with that? I wonder how good it would do.
Hello Kenny Wonder if you can answer a question I have about my '52 Case SC. The ring gear on the flywheel is pretty much chewed up from starter misalignment. Is the gear bolted to the flywheel or would it be a sweat fit from the factory? I have another SC,(1948) as a parts cache, but that ring gear is chewed up even worse. I'm beginning to think the blocks were not properly machined at the factory for proper starter alignment. I'm subscribed and appreciate the knowledge you share on your channel.
The ring gear is sweat onto the flywheel. Most likely, the bolt that keeps the starter in place has worked its way loose a few times and people didn't check it until it had already caused damage. I'm sure you could find a used ring gear in good shape fairly inexpensive. They might even be available new. Glad you like the channel and the videos. I hope to bring you some more soon.
Damn son, so jealous of how well those rims turned out. What size are those Titans? I've got a pair of 13.6s on my M, hell of a tire. The chrome plating on things looks sooooooo good. I'm surprised I haven't really seen it on any tractor restoration before.
H looks great Bro. It's going to be awesome when complete. How did you talk your Mrs. into giving up the garage? Hope your little girl had a happy birthday( belated ). Take care.
So there I am ho humming my way back up acrost Illinois.. and you put out this amazing piece of art!!! AWESOME SAUCE!! She is looking SEXY!!! I am so happy for you!!!
Saw a naet trick on cleaning metal shavings and that kind on a channel called Great Ideas. Get a strong magnet and wrap paper or cloth around it. I suspect a rubber glove or plastic bag will do the trick also. Collect the metal scpar with the magnet. Unwrap the cloth or what not and you have a Clean magnet and the scrap in one place

It would have, but there was nothing to hold the long end of the shaft as it would have been hanging off the end of the work bench. Sometimes a risk is unavoidable.

14:40 du you prefer to have the air valve for the tire on the inside?
Yes. I was always taught to have them inside to prevent them from being ripped off by crops or branches
We welded a steel tube of proper size to the rim to protect the valve. Easier to access, was the reason
How do you stay so clean? I have been working on an M and even putting it back together....well it’s just nasty but fun work!
Rubber gloves helps!
How do you go about cleaning the gas tank?
There are a lot of methods you can do to clean a fuel tank. I'll talk about those when I get to the tank.
Currently restoring my h at the point to put my rear rims and tires back on what size are the rim clamp bolts that you used do you remember 5/8”x5”
I don't remember off hand, but getting a rough measurement with a tape measure, it looks like 5/8"×5" is about right.
kenny what size/brand name are your tires?
Fronts: 6.00-16, rears: 13.6-38. All are Titan's by Goodyear.

@@KennyKizzleRustyNutzRanch perhaps just more years of experience. i.imgur.com/8WpevVb.jpg that is actually from a tractor company..
Why did you face the tire valve stem inwards? Am I missing something?
Most are faced inwards to protect them from being ripped off by crops, etc. Just something I've been told.
