Wow there are people who say this game sucks? You probably weren't born in the 70's/80's. It had some of the best, smoothest sprite animation on the NES at the time. The controls were responsive and yes, the game was hard, but just hard enough to make it challenging and make you feel like a pro if you beat it. The music wasn't bad at all either. This game was like Contra but with hand-to-hand combat. It was a kickass game back in the day. 8/10.

Screw everybody who complains about the awfulness of controls, graphics and gameplay. This game was, and is, golden and nothing can change it. The color palette and the music is just right.

Man this game was hard when I played it as a kid. I barely passed level 2 but I remember getting into level 3 accidentally 3 and 4 times. Never got to level 4 and never completed this game because of how hard it was lol
Big unanswered questions from this game: why mysterio and doc ock don't explode when beaten? Are those long armed creatures zombies? What is that beating thing that comes out of doc ock when you beat him? (Don't think it's his glasses).
