Just watched the whole thing and it’s 11:23 pm with work tomorrow and I’ve knackered myself. All your fault Garry for making such a great doco! Thanks v much!
Absolutely fantastic documentary, certainly brought back memories of my times especially round the west coast to Recherche bay. Keep them coming. Thanks Garry.
@@garrykerrdvd thanks for the reply! im really enjoying your videos. I grew up near eden N.S.W and went to the high school there... i remember ditching school and going down to the wharf to fish for lunch or we would go ab diving off the heads. sometimes if there was a boat unloading its fish they would give me and my mates a fish or two off the deck. I might only be in my 30s now, but Your docos have brought back some great memories. Cheers from South Aussie!
It’s these kinds of videos that make TH-cam such a wealth. Thanks for creating these.
I love watching these old men of the sea, it reminds me of time spent with old bushmen with their stories of people and places. Thank you.

What is a "score"? Example "we had about 20 score"
normally a score is 20 but a Tasmanian fishermen's score is 24

They aren't hunter gatherers! They are fishermen. Hunter gatherers hunt on land and collect plants and fruits etc.
You couldn't be more wrong we hunt fish just like we hunt game on land. Same thing to me.
What are you gathering? Seaweed 😂😂 @@jase4270
That's why they're protected. Because of muppets like these.
i was so happy to see then called CRAYFISH and not lobsters as the US wants to call them!!!
