@@livinginmontereycalifornia831 Thanks a lot! Yes I’ll definitely add it to my list the for the next time I’m in California. I visited Los Angeles in 2019 and it was like a freak week of mediocre weather haha, so I’m definitely due a visit to LA again and then hopefully a road trip to Monterey and San Francisco!
@@livinginmontereycalifornia831 For sure if you like the '80s & '90s arcade classics! It feels like you're transported back in time with all those game sounds and the music. They also have another location in Alameda as well if you're ever in the SF Bay Area.
@@GodlessG0D yes I do and have seen some locations around the country like that and they're a great time. Brings me back to my childhood. Thanks for the recommendation and I'll check it out! I've walked by but haven't been inside yet.
Monterey is a fun loving place. John Tesch sang the song Monterey Nights. Alvarado is a must see. Get coffee from under waterfull at Plumes. Have a lunch at the Monterey bay cafe.order the Monte Cristo sandwhich. If you go to Carmel ask the locals about a rock formation called Eddie's Monkey. Its bessed seen at midnight . Have a drink at Lollapalooza. Drive around 17 mile drive. See the adobes in Monterey. My ancestors started up Monterey, Salinas, and Carmel. Good tips from a 7th generation Californian. Have fun. Also get curly fries and coffee or coke, a Monterey a locals thing. Served with a side of Ranch dressing.
I've been on a few whale watching tours and the drivers leading the tours say that the whales are seen year round. July and August are probably the two best months though.
Thank you for this Helpful and well done video!

Great ideas Jim! Haven't tried the Monte Cristo so I'll have to try it next time I'm at Monterey Cafe.
What months are best to see whales on a whale watching tour?
