Our '08 Aura XR 3.6 6T70 has a P0752 code: Solenoid A Stuck On. I'd like to replace that and the pressure solenoid as well as the filter. Don't think there are other issues
@@thisisyourtransmission I’m doing an engine replacement on my 09 Acadia when I separated the engine from the trans the torque converter did not stay seated in the trans. I read a few documents and watched a video that said the torque converter on the 6t70 should be remove with the trans facing up or damage to a seal in the converter can occur. Is there anything I can check or is that seal inside the converter diy serviceable? I would hate to put this all back together and have issues with the converter as I am doing this job in my garage on jack stands and it is a pain. Am I just overthinking things or have you heard of this issue ?
@@68-And-I-Owe-You-NONE never heard of this. Maybe it is referring to the front pump seal that is inside of the transmission. It can be damaged. It rides the converter neck.
Did GM "update" the valve body so these valves won't bind up in the future ? Or are they merely selling people the old style valve body to those who aren't interested cleaning and refurbishing their original valve body ? More specifically, part numbers: 24281084, 25257450 and 24264343
holy shit a black transmission tech, I didn't know they existed
Yes yes, we are rare.
awsome video, best I've seen on TH-cam yet. question please, my 6t70 isn't shifting 3rd to 4th gear. what's causing this please?
probably a stuck solenoid code in your odb would tell you the answer.
Siempre buenos videos, saludos desde México 👍

I don't know if there are new ones. I never gotten one from the dealership before. However, you can check with WIT or Transtar for a rebuilt one.
Can I please get some advice about 6t70 torque converter issues ?
What's the issue?

There is no update that I know of. There are rebuilt ones.
Hey what is best to clean the parts with
You can use parts solvent or kerosine diluted with transmission fluid.
