Sarah looks like she's playing a Mandocello. She can likely play anything with strings. A beautiful cover of one of Kate's many great songs... Ramcey in Nashville
i thought mandocello for a long time - researched it a bit, and I believe it is an octave mandolin. I have no doubt that she can probably make just about anything with strings sound good, but that appears to have been her main instrument for a few years now.
Pretty sure it is an octave mando. I have always wondered how hard it would be play one? It would be strung same notewise as a regular mando. You would probably have to change your approach a bit though due to the size scale and string spacing differences.

It's an octave mandolin not a madocello they're two different things
@@flyshopbumtv7273 No, sorry. An octave mandolin is larger than a mandolin but smaller than a mandocello. The mandocello is guitar-sized, and that's what she was playing.
@@jorgstamm3530 No. In size order, smallest to largest: mandolin, octave mandolin, mandocello. The mandocello is guitar size. P.S. Your English is a lot better than my (nonexistent) German.
What does Venus and Volum mean???? I've been trying to find that out for sooo long now. Google doesn't even seem to know the Word Volum.... Please help!
