A good first impression. I've been playing them as well on my VS and EXP consoles and are really liking them. The two remasters are very well done. Duke3D Total Meltdown is the PS1 version. It comes with the Playstation exclusive episode Plug N Pray.
Ah thanks I wasn’t sure what version is was so thanks for the info! Yeah I’m loving it so far and I think it’s also inspired me to start collecting more carts for the Evercade
good video. i see many think their system is missing the yellow accents when in reality those are done via the glowing led in the system when its on. This should be seen by more people so they will know theirs is not a factory misprint / defect.
🙂👍 Awesome unboxing! 🙂 I have got the Evercade EXP. (Came in a bundle with irem Arcade 1 cartridge) 😁 I am looking forward to getting the two Duke Nukem Collection cartridges. (Revisiting Duke Nukem's 1 & 2, retrying DN 3D & having a go at another 3 DN games)
Thanks yeah there’s so many amazing games for the Evercade and so many I want for the collection! The Duke Nukem collection is amazing such a good addition to the Evercade catalogue
Nice one, enjoy your VS! Don't forget Namco Collection 1 & 2 were handheld only carts and do not work on VS, other than that everything else works just fine on VS. Have fun!

Thanks for the review - our one arrived on Saturday and it's really impressive. Totally agree about the opportunity go back and enjoy older games. Agree about the controllers too - they are great. We've been fortunate enough to collect all of the carts thus far, and some of the quality is quite variable. The VS is the best way to play these games, especially with the two (or more) player options. Have yet to explore the Duke Nukem games properly yet, but if you get the chance, do check out the Full Void cart. It is a brilliant game.
Thanks I hope I did this amazing console justice! They really are great controller! I know the Evercade can use a selection of controllers but these seem amazing! I’m hoping to start adding a few more carts to my collection and I would eventually like to go for a full set as I know some are getting rarer and as I said it’s a great way to experience some of these games. Full Void is definitely on my list, hoping to get the collectors edition if I haven’t missed out already!
Great unboxing video! My VS Atomic Edition should be in the mail any day now, I hardly can wait (shipping to germany got delayed a week or so 😢)! I've been collecting for the system since day one and I own all three consoles they've released so far but, yeah, like you said, the moment they announced the Atomic Edition, I knew I had to have it! Big Duke Nukem fan here too so it's the perfect match...
Thanks glad you enjoyed it! I had the first Evercade they made and wanted to move into the console for use on the TV and when I saw this one as I big Duke fan like yourself I knew I had to have it! Have you managed to buy all the carts they’ve released so far?
@@DanTheGamesMan True, some of the older cartridges are increasingly hard to find. I usually preorder them as soon as they are announced. Thankfully Evercade stuff is available via Amazon Germany, most other retro gaming stuff we don't get here so I have to order it from UK or US...
Great Video mate, well jealous I missed out on the Evercade Duke Nukem Console, I went for it day of release and it sold out right away. I do have both the Duke Nukem games on there way in the post though, so better than nothing I suppose mate. Time to kill I had on the PS1 growing up, it’s a brilliant game, but can’t beat Duke Nukem 3D, it’s the PC port to I believe. Enjoy!
