Hey Mike BIG Thumbs Up on this video!! You showed the seasoning and marinating process so well. Where do you get the Sofrito??? I love to make a big batch of these for leftovers too...pork chops and eggs for breakfast are so good! Probably your best video that I've seen over the years! So Chill and Delicious!! Cheers Bud and thanks for the tenderizing secret!!

Thanks Rob. I'm going to have to try the pork chops with eggs. I think this is the second time I heard this recently.

BBQPITDOG, you can make Sofrito yourself...it is pretty easy. Recipes are very regional and have little extras added in here and there, but a basic one to start you out is put raw garlic cloves, onion, peppers of your choice and cilantro in a blender and puree. Some add oil, lime, olives, capers, culantro, sweet chiles...or any combination al gusto. Happy cooking! :)

The pork chops look amazing! I definitely have to try this. I usually just put salt and pepper on my pork chops, but that's rather boring.

Pineapple juice works, so does Kiwi and Mango. These have enzymes that break down fibrous meats.

Well, I must say, that's a new one on me. I had no idea vinegar could be used that way. I bet it would be great on chicken, as well. I guess I'll have to find out. Good one, Mike.
