Compass Pointe is a little bit removed from shopping etc. It's not like Brunswick Forest with stores attached to the community. You'll have to drive about 7.5 miles to get to an area with more stores.
Outrageously expensive… I can see paying the increased HOA for the resort style living but the home prices are way more expensive then other communities. Same square foot homes brand new run $150-$200k cheaper in other communities…
What stores are nearby? I’ve been to Brunswick Forest - plenty of shopping ( grocery stores ,etc)near there .

No doubt it's pricey! The amenities are really nice there, but it's not for everyone.
It’s based on lot costs mostly. Same with salters haven on the east side in Hampstead. And lot costs are what they obviously are getting.
