The male player is a graduate assistant. He's on the staff specifically to act like an opposing player during practice drills and scrimmage. Stivrins is now a professional player, and I think she will be on the Omaha Supernova squad. She was around to help round out the numbers and even the sides on this scrimmage, but she could have been also hanging around to hone some skills during the professional off season, much like Jordan Larson did before going off with Team USA.
