Exactly how I feel about my baby. I’ve never had a pet I loved so much. I’ve only had my companion for 8 months and we got him as a lil kitten from a lady who was giving them away at a farm. Anyway he comes to me as soon as I call him and completely changed my life. I look forward to him coming excited to receive me when I come from work.
@@wxkat After I had my gall bladder removed and was home recovering in bed two of our cats snuggled in on either side of my abdomen. I was in a lot of pain and worried about the cats jumping on my incision accidentally. However, both cats remained at my sides and purred more loudly than I have ever heard them purr before. Also when I have a really bad migraine one of our cats will lay next to my head and purr. Cats are great!
My husband had a benign but very large brain tumor removed a few years ago. It took a lot of recovery. Our cat must have sensed when he got tired because he would literally come get hubby to "take him to bed", then stay in bed beside him until he fell asleep. They he'd come out again to the Lounge for an hour or two until I went to bed. Even after many months, and hubby went back to work, our kitty would jump up on my husband at exactly 9pm every night and meow at him to go to bed, so he didn't get overtired. It was so amazing. Cats are so loving and cute.
Always remind me to my first cat. In her last day, she went to sleep with me one last time, despite being weaken a lot. In the morning, i wake up to find her already in eternal sleep. My most memorial night with her. Still move me to tear everytime I recall.
I'm sure she's running free now. This happened to me 3 weeks ago. My first cat also died. He got so weak and somehow I accepted that his time is near. I tried to force feed him but his strength never came back. So I placed his bed near my bed so he could see me should he decide to go. Then suddenly, despite his weakness, he desperately tried to walk near my bed as if he was trying to sleep with me one last time. He never made it to the bed, after trying to stand, he vomitted and died. I'm still mourning him now.
July last year, my cat passed away at 15 and half years old. The vet said he wouldn't last til Monday at most which was only 3-4 days away. That night I had him sleep on my bed and he passed away in my arms the next morning at sunrise after he woke me up. I petted him til he was gone. I still have him in an urn that I pet the top of whenever I think of him and I got a cremation certificate with a lock of fur in a small bag.
I have had cats all my life 57 years. I let them sleep with me and I get the benefit of a purr to put me to sleep. Also I am very aware of what's going on around me at all times. And having a cat or dog sleep with me, they can hear more than I ever could. I have heard stories of a cat literally attacking an intruder to defend their owner. One of my girls will growl if they hear or see anyone outside my house. Lucky I haven't had one of my cats defend me, but knowing they will tell me if someone is around makes me rest better. One of my girls is a real therapy cat, she helps with my anxiety and depression. They will keep me grounded and calm. They are great friends.
I have 7 furbabies & I can vouch for every word you've said. My Bengal tabby growls at any strange noises & they are the best companions ever, they give true love, each one is a treasure 🐈⬛. Little people with fur coats on 😻🐈🐈⬛🐈🐈⬛💚
If my cat hears something in the hall or by the front door, she will hiss and growl. I appreciate her intuition and funny ways. She has unbelievable hearing. I live in a condo, and I love my guard 😺.
I’m typing this is in my bed with my three babies sleeping with me. One is on my legs, other in cuddling my left arm and the other one is with her paws on my head. I’m blessed 🐈❤
I adopted my cat when he was a kitten, and the first night he found that laying across my neck was a comfortable spot for him, so I continued to let him. Now he is like 4 times the size and he still does it, needless to say it's getting a bit hard to breathe lol. I love my cat.
I rescued my special cat from an unknown horrible life when he was a kitten. He is amost 17 years. He has away had the best of everything. A warm place to sleep next to me in our bed and a pet door to allow him the outdoors any time he wants. He is a great guard cat and protective of his yard. Never wanders off looking for trouble, but will defend his territory any time from other cats. Always ready to come up to me when I call him and can sit on my lap for as long as he wants. He is just the best cat buddy I have ever cared for. I will miss him dearly in the not too distant future.

All 4 of our cats are strictly indoors, so it is common for at least two of them to sleep with me every night, and I love it. A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with cancer. My kitty would not leave my side the day I got the diagnosis. She could sense something was wrong and wanted to comfort me. After undergoing surgery and recovery at the hospital, I came home and was told off for leaving my fur baby all alone, despite the fact she had 3 others to play with, plus other humans!

When my brother died, I immediately went to DC where he was taken to a shelter along with my brothers dog. My brother had been dead a few days, and when authorities found him, they were still protecting him. My brother took the dog. He recently had to be put down for Cancer, but absolutely any one who met him absolutely adored his sweet nature. My kitty Leonardo is exactly the same way… He is so gentle and loving 🥰… He loves staying with me if I’m in my bed or Ina chair or on my sofa… I feel so blessed to have him❤️❤️❤️
I had 2 amazing half Siamese cats who loved each other so much it almost felt as if they did not need me for anything other than feeding them or letting them in or out of the house. They were quite content to sleep downstairs every night until they got to be about 14 years old when they decided a little comfort was in order so slept on my bed for the last few years of their lives. One across my head the other stretched along the length of my body. They both lived until they were over 18 and I still miss them so much.
I love my big bad little man. When I’m at home, he constantly follows me around the house. When I have to go out, he’ll cry for several minutes before I leave. I can’t imagine a night of him not sleeping with me. That would be going to bed without sheets on the bed. I don’t think I could sleep without him next to me. When someone is at the house, he’ll stay close by until they leave and if they are in the same room, he’ll get even closer as if to say “ this is my human so don’t even think about it “. Cats are awesome.

It helps them feel safe My Juni has always been protected by me and she knows this. Often we play at attacking each other and I can run at full speed (for a 72 yo) and she often won't move at all because she knows I'd never really try to hurt her. They’re seeking warmth Juni prefers sleeping under the covers with her fur up against my bare legs. It is an incredibly comforting, soothing feeling for me and she stays there all night long. They think you need them She's right, you know. My wife and I had a huge Siamese born in our house (22 lbs) who was incredible. If he thought you were down, he'd hop up in your lap, stare with those huge blue eyes in to yours, reach out a paw and literally pat your cheek to comfort you. Should you Let your Cat Sleep With you? It's not even a choice on my part, it's a way of making sure that I am there in the night and haven't floated away. It is in fact a demonstration of her ownership of me, not just trust. As she's never in contact with other animals, for 5 years there have been no problems that way. Juni helps me when I cook, especially when I butcher chicken thighs into separated meat and bones for freezing, demanding sacrificial portions on the counter as I work. Not sanitary? LOL, I'll guarantee that I already have every germ she has in her in me already. In fact, I credit her with helping to keep my immune system working well with such constant exposure, although I have wondered if someone would get a cat infection if I decided to bite them... I'm convinced that the more an animal has almost exclusive access to a human, the more "humanlike" they become, understanding moods and even words quite well. Juni replaced my wife of 45 years 5 years ago and we have become mutually dependent on each other in some amazing ways. She travels with me (can't imagine going anywhere over night without her) and is well behaved in the car (other than when she goes crazy, jumps up on my headrest and attacks my hair with gusto, sometimes leading to a loving CHOMP on the back of my head at 70mph for which I am prepared). The downside is that she becomes very withdrawn and depressed if I'm gone for too long. Juni is not human, but she's as close to being a mate for me these days as is possible in reality. The love of an animal can reflect in a small way the love of God Himself...
I love it when my cat sleeps with me. HE often gets under my arms and licks me and then gets settled in to go to sleep. HE rubs his head on me all the time. It comforts me when he is near me.
My kitty senses when things are not right...and she loves body heat and I love her sharing her body heat with me. When I really need sleep though or just rest, she uses her own bed. I find her extremely engaging, we read each others thoughts. Cats are gorgeous creatures. Thanks for sharing...xx
I love my babies and even though it’s not always comfortable for me I will always let them sleep in my bed! We have one rescue she was so traumatized and it took her a while to really trust us! Now she does completely and I believe that bond came from her sleeping with us!❤❤❤
My cat, Wilson is quite feral during the day and prefers to stay outside hunting but when it comes to bedtime she always comes inside to sleep with me. She has two this endearing habits, she either puts a paw in my hand or wraps her forelegs around my arm as I sleep.

I took in an OLD sort of "Barn" cat near the end of her life. She got use to sleeping on the soft bed and one cold night I put her under the electric blanket. Just for a second she fought it and then she felt the warmth and settled in. The next morning I tried to get her out of the bed and I was growled and hissed at! And we had another cat that would NOT ONLY sleep under the covers BUT needed his head on the pillow as well!
My cat goes under the blanket daily at a certain time. Usually I am already up working from home but some weekends I sleep in and he is under the blanket with me.

I just got a stray rescue kitten and his favorite toy is a zip tie made into a circle. He plays fetch with me in bed every night. Love that he is warm and safe now.

I make a warm bed for him on our porch and he loves to be tucked in! He even started coming in and cuddling but still wants his freedom. I just love this all black furball ❤️
Surprisingly, I am allergic to cats, have been all my life, but if I own a cat for long enough I develop an immunity towards it. I have been a happy cat dad for 8 years now :) my female orange tabby sleeps with me every night! Thank you for this video! I always wondered why she wanted to sleep on top of me!
I have a cat that waits for me by my bedroom door while watching me brush my teeth before bedtime. She will wait patiently, counting her jellybeans till she hears the water stop, towel dry and then she looks at me like get in bed already. Every night.
My cat never meows until bedtime and plays with a toy aggressively. Then she is ready to hop up in my bed. She is great about cuddling with me when I am sad, sick, or depressed. Depressed. It's hard to believe how intuitive and empathetic she is compared to my friends.
I am sorry you're depressed. I deal with it too. Some people don't understand it. They haven't experienced depression themselves but I am glad you have a cat. Our cats come close to me when I am sad too. And try a bubble bath or taking a walk. Call a friend. These things help me when I get down . God bless you!!! ❤️

I'll never forget this: It was an ominous, quiet night, and the house was just starting to settle in. My 6-year-old self was just starting to doze off to sleep when I heard a weird scratching/scraping noise. It eventually stopped, so I eventually fell asleep. I again woke up to the sound, along with an additional high-pitched noise I had(at the time) _never_ heard before. I ran to the kitchen door, looked out the window...nothing there, and the sound disappears.... At that point, I gave up. Maybe it was one of those strange, near-to-life dreams I'd had once before. I crawled back into my bed to go to sleep, only to wake up again to what felt like a machine, vibrating on my stomach/chest area. I was about to yell and panic, only to realize it was just one of our outside country cats. I figured she was just lonely and wanted to spend time with someone. I let her stay with me until she felt it was time to go, and then I opened the kitchen door to let her out. Our mom was _not_ happy when she learned that Tiger scratched her why through our screen window 😂😂😂.
It's so sweet when my kitty walks up to me when it's quiet and he positions himself under my arm to go to sleep. He positions himself right on my right side and it's so lovable.
My bengal loves going under the covers with us. He stays under and purrs, after a long while he bails out and sleeps by our feet or in the middle of our feet. Love our cat Leo
Some cats are head sleepers. some are feet sleepers. I have had both. I'm just glad they want to sleep with me. Nothing is better than hearing a cat purr you to sleep.

I have two little ones... One of them always 'digs' the blanket to sleep under it next to my bended legs (almost forming a warm nest for him), the other girl comes in sometimes to say hi and then goes out and sleeps above the blanket next to me and the guy under, it's soooo adorable. Pure love
A small trick I use when I want a little more space while I sleep, but also make them feel close is that I keep a heating pad (has auto shut off and a warm setting) about 6 inches away from my head. It's enough for us both to get some sleep with a little more space.
I do the same thing! I use a pet-safe warming pad beside my pillow, covered in a fuzzy baby blanket. My fluffs are close and I can hear their little snores when they’re in deep sleep. 💕
The only time in my 83 years when I did not have a dog or cat sleep with me was when I was in the Marine Corps. My cat sleeps with me. I usually read untl nearly midnight. Around 11:45 pm, if I have not gone to bed, she lets me know that it is time to hit the hay. She stays in bed until I fall asleep. Then, I think, she does her thing, but she is back in bed by 5 am. Moreover, to keep me in line, she starts licking me about 6:30 am, as if say sleep time is over, and it is time for breakfast.
My cat was really attentive to me when I was going through chemo. If I got up in the middle of the night, he'd follow me around and go back to my bed when I went back to bed. The rest of the time, he's pretty much been his own master. Now that he's older, I try to return the favor and make sure he's comfortable when he's in distress. I love him.
My cat loves to spoon (he is of course the little spoon) and underneath the blankets is preferred. It's so routine that I will lift the covers for him while I'm still asleep. Nothing beats having a warm ball of fur cuddled up against you while you sleep.
Our kitten, Jett sleeps with us in our bed but also sleeps with our son. She goes bed hopping between our bed and our son's bed! She watches us as we leave our driveway and greets us at the door when she sees us drive up! She came to us when she was like 2 weeks old and very wild. She makes us so happy!

One of my Dad’s fondest memories from travelling in Indonesia in the early 80s was sleeping under the stars in his sleeping bag. And the street cats which were scared of humans during the day would suddenly appear and curl up against him. Then when he woke in the morning the cats would scatter and disappear.
Since my 18 & 20 year old cats passed recently, I cannot sleep well. I didn't realize how many of my habits - including sleeping - were impacted by them. They definitely own you, not the other way around. People thought they were well trained but they didn't realize that to get them to comply, I had to learn what they wanted in return - treats, brushing, or praise.
I have one cat that sleeps only on my right side of me under covers and the other cat sleeps on top of me. They have their own beds with blankets but they choose to sleep like this and I love it.
I'm a cat man, I love my cat tigger queen, I raised her when she was 3 weeks old, her mother and her sisters and brothers got killed and eaten by coyotes, and tigger was the only surviver by hiding . She liked sleeping right under my chin. She purred all the time. Her favorite meat was raw bacon, and baked chicken. She even fetched the tennis ball like a dog and bring it back to me, I mis her, now that she's gone. She would use the toilet bowl just like we do, and she even learned how to flush it by watching me. 👍😇🇨🇦😺💜
When Lilly sleeps right next to me, this means she is happy with the food I gave her. If she is not happy with what I gave her, Lilly sleeps somewhere else. If I have tried to stop her snoring, she gets up and moves far enough away so that I can’t reach her. Lilly is a very clever and loving cat. I love here so much! She makes me laugh with her antics ❤
I’m watching this in bed with one of my cats being a purring loaf on my stomach. 😁 Later during the night, I usually end up with another one on my feet and a third next to my pillow (and I can always tell which one is there by their usual places).
Almost all of my cats slept under the covers with me, often getting back under there after the morning feeding, etc. I worried at first that they wouldn’t get enough air, but apparently they did, they loved it. When I got hone from work, they would be back (or still?) under there! They came out after the furnace warmed up the house.
Well unless you're using RUBBER sheets for SOME reason, then they shouldn't have any trouble getting enough air to breathe while covered with 'cotton' bedding!
My cat is not the most affectionate and can be quite moody but she does sleep with me. I like it when she sleeps in/on my bed because it is comforting. I just find that I fall asleep better with her there and I believe that she feels protected too. She is not a snuggle cat though and that is ok.
I love that my Siamese-mix senior girl likes to sleep in my bed. One evening, she noted a silent (to me) disturbance and kept staring up at the wide ceiling fan, until a little bat emerged to fly circles against the cathedral ceiling. Always believe in cat super-senses! I'd been awake at the time, so knew that the bat had made no contact with us, and we immediately vacated the bedroom and I shut the door. We slept elsewhere for six weeks, even though I'd safely caught the bat for release, eight days after its appearance. I was too spooked to soon return to my bedroom!
I remembered sleeping with my 2nd cat when I had a very bad cold. It was a nap with me. He was my best friend. I even had a very special bond with him. Even getting home after 8pm for late dinner. He did sat in a chair next to me and even put his paw on my lap to let me know he was next to me. He did loved his belly rubs by me on my belly. I was the only person that he trusted to do that. I was even the 1st person that he liked when he was a stray. My family had another cat,too that he was friends with. The 1st cat was more laid back with another cat around. That cat was my buddy,too. He was sweet and friendly cat but, in a different way. I was so lucky to have them in my life. They were both strays from a little bit over 2 years from each other. Even both of them were red tabby cats. My father and my sister liked the 1st cat. Myself and my mother liked the 2nd cat a little bit more. I do loved these 2 cats in a different way. The same with my other family members. Even one grandmother likes one cat than the other one. Even my other grandmother liked one cat for being a big sweetie towards her that instantly fell in loved with. This one grandmother did hated cats for a long time. Till she met the 2nd cat. The other grandmother thought that the 2nd cat was very strange for her. She liked the 1st cat because he was a normal cat. Even my sister did bonded with the 2nd cat,too. Even my father used to played with the 2nd cat while he was grading papers the cat flopped on top of the papers. My father used his pen to gently tapped on the cat’s head. He said that he hated that cat. I did know that my father was joking because he was a big softy towards that cat.
Our cats always sleep with us, all the 3 of them, then when we left them for few days , they missed us , when we went home they are all happy to see us , they purr & sat on my lap, when I sat on sofa, one of them even touch my face, It's so amazing that our furry babies really love us. 🐱😊
The thing about laying on their human for warmth. One night after a party at my place i passed out on the couch. It was in a basement and colder then the rest of the house. I had my 2 cats and had 3 others i was watching for a time. The cats didnt really get along to well. I woke up with all 5 cats sleeping on me! Covered in cats! They set aside their differences for a warm bed i guess.
All cats I've ever had LOVE sleeping with me. The 3 I have meow, all sleep differently but I am the common denominator. Gracie: Curls up right bwtn my legs and locks me from moving freely Tinkerbell: Sleeps very politely at the foot of my side or on the side of my feet. Sometimes she's 🐒 in the middle of my hubby & I Katelynn: Curls up right on my shoulder. (Either b4 or after trying to steal a scratch of our headboard 🤦🏾♀️) All in all, I love my kittys sleeping with & bonding with me and being so trusting & vulnerable. My husband doesn't like it so much. Then I remind him he knew before he said, "I do"......🥰🤭😻
When I wake up every morning or when I take a nap . I always have one of four cats sleep on top of me . Especially when I suffer from nightmares. My cats know when I have them . And knowing them at that are there I sleep comfortably. And I’m very grateful

My kitty loves to sleep on my pillow. Right above my head. He curls up and hugs my head and digs his face into my hair. I love him so much 😭❤️
I adopted my cat when he was a kitten, and the first night he found that laying across my neck was a comfortable spot for him, so I continued to let him. Now he is like 4 times the size and he still does it, needless to say it's getting a bit hard to breathe lol. I love my cat.

I rescued my special cat from an unknown horrible life when he was a kitten. He is amost 17 years. He has away had the best of everything. A warm place to sleep next to me in our bed and a pet door to allow him the outdoors any time he wants. He is a great guard cat and protective of his yard. Never wanders off looking for trouble, but will defend his territory any time from other cats. Always ready to come up to me when I call him and can sit on my lap for as long as he wants. He is just the best cat buddy I have ever cared for. I will miss him dearly in the not too distant future.

All 4 of our cats are strictly indoors, so it is common for at least two of them to sleep with me every night, and I love it. A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with cancer. My kitty would not leave my side the day I got the diagnosis. She could sense something was wrong and wanted to comfort me. After undergoing surgery and recovery at the hospital, I came home and was told off for leaving my fur baby all alone, despite the fact she had 3 others to play with, plus other humans!

When my brother died, I immediately went to DC where he was taken to a shelter along with my brothers dog. My brother had been dead a few days, and when authorities found him, they were still protecting him. My brother took the dog. He recently had to be put down for Cancer, but absolutely any one who met him absolutely adored his sweet nature. My kitty Leonardo is exactly the same way… He is so gentle and loving 🥰… He loves staying with me if I’m in my bed or Ina chair or on my sofa… I feel so blessed to have him❤️❤️❤️
I had 2 amazing half Siamese cats who loved each other so much it almost felt as if they did not need me for anything other than feeding them or letting them in or out of the house. They were quite content to sleep downstairs every night until they got to be about 14 years old when they decided a little comfort was in order so slept on my bed for the last few years of their lives.
One across my head the other stretched along the length of my body.
They both lived until they were over 18 and I still miss them so much.

I love my big bad little man. When I’m at home, he constantly follows me around the house. When I have to go out, he’ll cry for several minutes before I leave. I can’t imagine a night of him not sleeping with me. That would be going to bed without sheets on the bed. I don’t think I could sleep without him next to me.
When someone is at the house, he’ll stay close by until they leave and if they are in the same room, he’ll get even closer as if to say “ this is my human so don’t even think about it “. Cats are awesome.

My Juni has always been protected by me and she knows this. Often we play at attacking each other and I can run at full speed (for a 72 yo) and she often won't move at all because she knows I'd never really try to hurt her.
They’re seeking warmth
Juni prefers sleeping under the covers with her fur up against my bare legs. It is an incredibly comforting, soothing feeling for me and she stays there all night long.
They think you need them
She's right, you know. My wife and I had a huge Siamese born in our house (22 lbs) who was incredible. If he thought you were down, he'd hop up in your lap, stare with those huge blue eyes in to yours, reach out a paw and literally pat your cheek to comfort you.
Should you Let your Cat Sleep With you?
It's not even a choice on my part, it's a way of making sure that I am there in the night and haven't floated away. It is in fact a demonstration of her ownership of me, not just trust. As she's never in contact with other animals, for 5 years there have been no problems that way. Juni helps me when I cook, especially when I butcher chicken thighs into separated meat and bones for freezing, demanding sacrificial portions on the counter as I work. Not sanitary? LOL, I'll guarantee that I already have every germ she has in her in me already. In fact, I credit her with helping to keep my immune system working well with such constant exposure, although I have wondered if someone would get a cat infection if I decided to bite them...
I'm convinced that the more an animal has almost exclusive access to a human, the more "humanlike" they become, understanding moods and even words quite well. Juni replaced my wife of 45 years 5 years ago and we have become mutually dependent on each other in some amazing ways. She travels with me (can't imagine going anywhere over night without her) and is well behaved in the car (other than when she goes crazy, jumps up on my headrest and attacks my hair with gusto, sometimes leading to a loving CHOMP on the back of my head at 70mph for which I am prepared). The downside is that she becomes very withdrawn and depressed if I'm gone for too long.
Juni is not human, but she's as close to being a mate for me these days as is possible in reality. The love of an animal can reflect in a small way the love of God Himself...

I love my babies and even though it’s not always comfortable for me I will always let them sleep in my bed! We have one rescue she was so traumatized and it took her a while to really trust us! Now she does completely and I believe that bond came from her sleeping with us!❤❤❤

My cat, Wilson is quite feral during the day and prefers to stay outside hunting but when it comes to bedtime she always comes inside to sleep with me. She has two this endearing habits, she either puts a paw in my hand or wraps her forelegs around my arm as I sleep.

My cat always waits until I’ve been lying in bed for at least 5 minutes before she lays on my legs. Keeps me warm at night. The only one that can tolerate my snoring 😅

I've had 8 cats in my life, none of them have ever slept anywhere near my head or chest, all of them curl up by the legs! I never liked it, I want to cuddle them while my feet can move freely

I took in an OLD sort of "Barn" cat near the end of her life. She got use to sleeping on the soft bed and one cold night I put her under the electric blanket. Just for a second she fought it and then she felt the warmth and settled in. The next morning I tried to get her out of the bed and I was growled and hissed at! And we had another cat that would NOT ONLY sleep under the covers BUT needed his head on the pillow as well!
My daughter's cat has watched my Chihuahua burrow under blankets for extra warmth & now she does this too.
My cat goes under the blanket daily at a certain time. Usually I am already up working from home but some weekends I sleep in and he is under the blanket with me.

I have had my " BABY" For almost 20 years now. And she still plays & attacks her favorite toys . She used to FETCH HER FAVORITE TOY, AND SHE NORMALLY WOULD BRING IT BACK. BUT LATELY SHE CHASES TOYS I TOSS,BUT AFTER SHE CHASES AND SHAKES IT, SHE LOOKS ST ME LIKE " You threw it, you get it !" Lol
Attack is a good word for how my cat plays with her favorite toy. That always amused me and I dony have the right word to describe what she does.
I just got a stray rescue kitten and his favorite toy is a zip tie made into a circle. He plays fetch with me in bed every night. Love that he is warm and safe now.

I make a warm bed for him on our porch and he loves to be tucked in! He even started coming in and cuddling but still wants his freedom. I just love this all black furball ❤️

My cat never meows until bedtime and plays with a toy aggressively. Then she is ready to hop up in my bed. She is great about cuddling with me when I am sad, sick, or depressed. Depressed. It's hard to believe how intuitive and empathetic she is compared to my friends.

I am sorry you're depressed. I deal with it too. Some people don't understand it. They haven't experienced depression themselves but I am glad you have a cat. Our cats come close to me when I am sad too. And try a bubble bath or taking a walk. Call a friend. These things help me when I get down . God bless you!!! ❤️

I'll never forget this:
It was an ominous, quiet night, and the house was just starting to settle in. My 6-year-old self was just starting to doze off to sleep when I heard a weird scratching/scraping noise. It eventually stopped, so I eventually fell asleep. I again woke up to the sound, along with an additional high-pitched noise I had(at the time) _never_ heard before. I ran to the kitchen door, looked out the window...nothing there, and the sound disappears.... At that point, I gave up. Maybe it was one of those strange, near-to-life dreams I'd had once before.
I crawled back into my bed to go to sleep, only to wake up again to what felt like a machine, vibrating on my stomach/chest area. I was about to yell and panic, only to realize it was just one of our outside country cats. I figured she was just lonely and wanted to spend time with someone. I let her stay with me until she felt it was time to go, and then I opened the kitchen door to let her out.
Our mom was _not_ happy when she learned that Tiger scratched her why through our screen window 😂😂😂.

I have two little ones... One of them always 'digs' the blanket to sleep under it next to my bended legs (almost forming a warm nest for him), the other girl comes in sometimes to say hi and then goes out and sleeps above the blanket next to me and the guy under, it's soooo adorable. Pure love
A small trick I use when I want a little more space while I sleep, but also make them feel close is that I keep a heating pad (has auto shut off and a warm setting) about 6 inches away from my head. It's enough for us both to get some sleep with a little more space.
I do the same thing! I use a pet-safe warming pad beside my pillow, covered in a fuzzy baby blanket. My fluffs are close and I can hear their little snores when they’re in deep sleep. 💕

My cat sleeps with me. I usually read untl nearly midnight. Around 11:45 pm, if I have not gone to bed, she lets me know that it is time to hit the hay. She stays in bed until I fall asleep. Then, I think, she does her thing, but she is back in bed by 5 am. Moreover, to keep me in line, she starts licking me about 6:30 am, as if say sleep time is over, and it is time for breakfast.

My cat was really attentive to me when I was going through chemo. If I got up in the middle of the night, he'd follow me around and go back to my bed when I went back to bed. The rest of the time, he's pretty much been his own master. Now that he's older, I try to return the favor and make sure he's comfortable when he's in distress. I love him.
My cat loves to spoon (he is of course the little spoon) and underneath the blankets is preferred. It's so routine that I will lift the covers for him while I'm still asleep. Nothing beats having a warm ball of fur cuddled up against you while you sleep.
Our kitten, Jett sleeps with us in our bed but also sleeps with our son. She goes bed hopping between our bed and our son's bed! She watches us as we leave our driveway and greets us at the door when she sees us drive up! She came to us when she was like 2 weeks old and very wild. She makes us so happy!

One of my Dad’s fondest memories from travelling in Indonesia in the early 80s was sleeping under the stars in his sleeping bag.

I'm a cat man, I love my cat tigger queen, I raised her when she was 3 weeks old, her mother and her sisters and brothers got killed and eaten by coyotes, and tigger was the only surviver by hiding . She liked sleeping right under my chin. She purred all the time. Her favorite meat was raw bacon, and baked chicken. She even fetched the tennis ball like a dog and bring it back to me, I mis her, now that she's gone. She would use the toilet bowl just like we do, and she even learned how to flush it by watching me. 👍😇🇨🇦😺💜
When Lilly sleeps right next to me, this means she is happy with the food I gave her. If she is not happy with what I gave her, Lilly sleeps somewhere else. If I have tried to stop her snoring, she gets up and moves far enough away so that I can’t reach her. Lilly is a very clever and loving cat. I love here so much! She makes me laugh with her antics ❤

I’m watching this in bed with one of my cats being a purring loaf on my stomach. 😁 Later during the night, I usually end up with another one on my feet and a third next to my pillow (and I can always tell which one is there by their usual places).
Almost all of my cats slept under the covers with me, often getting back under there after the morning feeding, etc. I worried at first that they wouldn’t get enough air, but apparently they did, they loved it. When I got hone from work, they would be back (or still?) under there! They came out after the furnace warmed up the house.

Well unless you're using RUBBER sheets for SOME reason, then they shouldn't have any trouble getting enough air to breathe while covered with 'cotton' bedding!
My cat is not the most affectionate and can be quite moody but she does sleep with me. I like it when she sleeps in/on my bed because it is comforting. I just find that I fall asleep better with her there and I believe that she feels protected too. She is not a snuggle cat though and that is ok.

I love that my Siamese-mix senior girl likes to sleep in my bed. One evening, she noted a silent (to me) disturbance and kept staring up at the wide ceiling fan, until a little bat emerged to fly circles against the cathedral ceiling. Always believe in cat super-senses! I'd been awake at the time, so knew that the bat had made no contact with us, and we immediately vacated the bedroom and I shut the door. We slept elsewhere for six weeks, even though I'd safely caught the bat for release, eight days after its appearance. I was too spooked to soon return to my bedroom!

I remembered sleeping with my 2nd cat when I had a very bad cold. It was a nap with me. He was my best friend. I even had a very special bond with him. Even getting home after 8pm for late dinner. He did sat in a chair next to me and even put his paw on my lap to let me know he was next to me. He did loved his belly rubs by me on my belly. I was the only person that he trusted to do that. I was even the 1st person that he liked when he was a stray. My family had another cat,too that he was friends with. The 1st cat was more laid back with another cat around. That cat was my buddy,too. He was sweet and friendly cat but, in a different way. I was so lucky to have them in my life. They were both strays from a little bit over 2 years from each other. Even both of them were red tabby cats. My father and my sister liked the 1st cat. Myself and my mother liked the 2nd cat a little bit more. I do loved these 2 cats in a different way. The same with my other family members. Even one grandmother likes one cat than the other one. Even my other grandmother liked one cat for being a big sweetie towards her that instantly fell in loved with. This one grandmother did hated cats for a long time. Till she met the 2nd cat. The other grandmother thought that the 2nd cat was very strange for her. She liked the 1st cat because he was a normal cat. Even my sister did bonded with the 2nd cat,too. Even my father used to played with the 2nd cat while he was grading papers the cat flopped on top of the papers. My father used his pen to gently tapped on the cat’s head. He said that he hated that cat. I did know that my father was joking because he was a big softy towards that cat.

The thing about laying on their human for warmth. One night after a party at my place i passed out on the couch. It was in a basement and colder then the rest of the house. I had my 2 cats and had 3 others i was watching for a time. The cats didnt really get along to well. I woke up with all 5 cats sleeping on me! Covered in cats! They set aside their differences for a warm bed i guess.
