I'm petite and I have an oversized winter one button menswear style emerald green coat. What type of belt should I wear with it? Wide or Skinny, etc? Do you have any suggestions on how to wear wear belts with coats? Your belt collection is amazing!
Hi Natmari, If you are petite and have a short torso then go for a medium width. A wide belt could hit too close under the bust line and accentuate the short proportion. So a medium belt will act like a wide belt on you. Go for the same green or slightly darker, metallics or black. If the coat has a thick fabrication then suede is especially beautiful and if it's thinner then leather or something with a smooth finish looks really nice.

Congratulations, that video is captivating, we want to see more and more of you and your nice clothes. I would like you to help me with my look, if you can. I will be 66 years old next week, I wear size 8-10 and I am 5'-3 but my legs are 31 inches long, so I look a little taller. I wear my light brown hair about the same lenght as yours, maybe a little shorter. Apparently I do not look my age but I would not mind looking 66 if doing so with style and grace. I can not wear high heels, I had a hip replacement The problem is, I have nice clothing but everything is matchy- matchy and I do not seem to be able to work on my own style. Except for purses and a little jewelry, accessories are a mystery to me. I am so afraid of looking like that little old lady that does not want to age that I am bored with what I wear. What you showed us are classic styles with a twist, could I pull something like that off? That little short dress with the blouse that you put on over a jeans is nice but, wearing something like that, would be too young for me.. The long handmade dress is something I would lean toward but am I too short. I like the boho style but how can I wear it without looking like someone who took out her clothes from the cedar chest full of moth balls? lol The last 5 years were kind of rough, my husband died of cancer, at the end of 2019; I miss him every day. With the confinement and everything else, I realize that I kneed to take care of myself. I would love to have a new look, or, at least, put together what I have with style. I do not like what I see on TH-cam or Pinterest for my age group, it is mostly new, store bought clothing, that they put together. Is it possible, for you, to work on a segment to help grand-mothers like me who would like to be stylish without looking foolish? Yes You have given me a challenge! I will work on it, it will take a few weeks and more effort but a great great idea! Also keep watching this space because I'm going to think about you and write more about your goals but need to think on it more..
