    When Aron is on, everything stops and we all have to watch. He is a master at work, a hidden diamond in the rough. Mark I hope your leg gets better fast. Sorry to hear about you being in the hospital! Who runs the store when you are out of commission? Feel better soon, and I hope no more pain! Great video. That new wand is a sho all unto itself lol. It looks like one of those steam engines going down the tracks back in the wild wild west lol. Awesome video, you are the best. Big thumbs up 👍

      Again thank you Peter for your kind words of encouragement especially for all our family here. As you know, they are super important and make Saiger's happen... Even without me... Which is a goal... That someday I'm not around the business can continue and thrive to help our community, clients and family. The leg is getting better. Off the meds a day ago so feeling a little more human. Now if the itching can go away from those meds... Ugh... The worst. We have a larger job tonight and I hope I can feel better. It's been rough the past week. And today, we are getting a large amount of snow. Sunday, me, Shari and the puppy Luna fly out for a few days to #SaigerSouth for some work and to open up Saiger's South. We hope the storms don't mess up our travel too much. Again thank you for all your kindness and help 😊. Our best to you from our little family business ❤️

      I’m guessing they didn’t realize how bad it actually was as dirt and grease built up gradually over time. Humans are bad at noticing small changes on the day to day. Grease also usually can’t be taken out with general daily cleaning so there was probably not much to do about the buildup aside having it professionally cleaned even if they did notice.

    When using the hydroforce do you turn the heat off when you spray the carpet or apply prespray heat on as it would be while cleaning ?

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is the Multi Sprayer brand or also sold as private label at JonDon as the Powerforce II. It just seems to last the best and put out the best flow. We don't turn our heat down on our high heat Butlers and can also apply at 1000 psi. But I have hooked up to a couple of really cooking truckmounts (an aerotech with super high heat and a diesel burner unit) and I had to have them turn the heat down. They were around 285 degrees and I couldn't handle that

    What's up Mark...I've done a lil research on water temperature and cleaning. From what I've read, the temperature of the water isn't that important when it comes to getting spots and stains out, it's actually better to use cold water on most spots...my question is, why is the heat and steam made such a big deal and are your products, heat activated??? Thanks man

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the questions. There is a point where some chemistry will reach a peak and cloud out with with, but newer chemistry has come about that heat will raise their activity level and be more effective. Our chemistry works with less temps, but also with high temps. For most cleaning, if you are missing one part of the cleaning pie, you increase the others a bit more. So if lacking heat you might need more agitation or some more chemistry (more agitation we feel is a bit better). On spots and stains, there are so many different types of stains and treating and removing them can vary. Oily stains can be sometimes removed with most cleaning agents and even some agitation. Gum can be removed with a solvent based product such as citrus De-Limolene, but a lot of times, we are able to use the heat from our cleaning units to dissolve and extract. Coffee and Tea browning stains will most likely need an oxidizer (peroxide based) and time. Applying the oxidizing product such as our Harvard Chemical Just Like Magic, spraying it on and walkikg away to let it continue to work. Red stains a lot of times will need some type of heat transfer with what we call a reducing agent. So it's hard to just say one way is the only way to attack cleaning, but for us we do find our Butler High Heat truckmounts supply us a very well balanced amount of heat and suction to be able to clean very effective and effecient. There are other units that can provide great cleaning experiences too. I hope I touched on answers to your questions. Let me know if I can try and help to answer something more specific. Again, thanks for your question 😊👍

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question actually! I think we got it pretty deep down. Some sections needed to be pre-sprayed and cleaned twice, but we hit it pretty hard. We can do that and recover though very well. Not everyone would be able to with some equipment...us included in our past. But we feel really good about the cleaning these days with the chemistry and more efficient equipment available to us :-)

    Hey mark what psi do you usually have the Butler running when using the zipper wand? Thanks

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      500 to 600 with the regular Zipper Wand and 800 to 1000 for the SS Super Spinner. The Spinners on the SS are set to be a glancing blow across the carpets so to not soak carpets, but yet push the soils and dirt to the gilded vaccum slots

    • @adampuscavage1927
      @adampuscavage1927 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MarkSaiger ok awesome thank you so much. One more question, my father has been using Butler units for about 25 years now so he is very old school and never even saw a zipper. When I told him that the psi to he used was 500 psi he was blown away and the ng it will break the pump or something in the unit. How can I convince him it won't lol.

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@adampuscavage1927 those are great questions. The Butler is actually designed to handle around 1100 to 1200 psi especially for cleaning of tile and grout requiring this type of pressure sometimes to clean easier. The heat exchangers have a protective bypass valve with a hose coming outside the van on the driver's side close to the muffler box. If pressure gets too high that bypass valve will open to protect the system. The chemical injection diaphragm can go out quicker on high pressure cleaning but they have addressed that recently with an updated block type injector. I have the round stainless Chemical injection pump, but have had really good luck (knock on wood! 😁) and haven't had to replace a chemical injection diaphragm for a couple of years...and if only running in that 500 to 600 psi range you will have an even longer life with the chemical injection pump diaphragm. The cat pumps actually are designed for that kind of pressure. Sometimes people put more stress on the cat pump running it for really long times (or on a water extraction). We still see close to 4000 hours on a cat pump before we get a rebuilt one from Butler. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I really appreciate your interest and questions so I can share our experiences. My best to you and your family and thanks for being here and your comments 😊👍

      The product used in this video was our Code Red and some of our Harvard Chemical G-Force Booster which is a liquid soy Booster we created but left in the Harvard Chemical name.
      We do have free samples available by the way. Just go to my webstore and tap on the free sample pics that will take you to a JonDon page that is doing the free samples including Free shipping www.saigers.com/supplies

      It definitely needs replacing. They actually only tacked it along the edges. Moving the tables as much as they do setting up different arrangements had helped to take its toll and also really not cleaning enough has left a lot of negative soils, debris and grease to tear it apart. We were hoping they might replace it soon. It's been in this place for quite a few years now.

      I actually got MRSA between one of the two hospitals unfortunately 🙁. I did not see it on the charts from the first hospital (might have just been developing) but in the second hospital it was detected with the wound a couple of days later. It was a crazy fight for a while. The second emergency room doctor recognized the Brown Recluse Spider bite as soon as she viewed the wound. She had seen the bite a few times coming from an area that it was a bit more common. I was surprised and asked how she could tell with it all cut up and she recognized some of the signs with the wound. I am scheduled to be back to Arizona this Fall again to help organize and volunteer clean at these houses again. I'm hoping for a less eventful experience this time 😁

      I've seen other doctors call it a spider bite but it's staff a perfectly round hole you can put a cigarette in it looks like it's going to pop any second but just leaks and then you can get a big white worm out, with the spider bite there is severe necrosis from the inside out a lot different than the staff with the perfect round hole like a pencil eraser around or a cigarette

      @@aladdinhomecare7537 yeah, it started out when I woke up about 3 am in my hotel room and saw 2 little blood spots on my leg. I didn't think anything of it. The first emergency room doctor saw it and went in after the narcosis. The second doctor saw tracking around the wound I guess as well that she recognized as webbing like look that gave her the recognition of the spider bite. I didn't think anything of it the first night of the bite, but by morning it started to swell and get hot and sore. Of course I was busy so didn't address it until a friend mentioned it could be some type of bite and might be more of a problem than I was thinking. By day 3 it was becoming more obvious I was needing medical assistance. The first doctor addressed the narcosis removing a bunch of what I guess would have been dead tissue. All in all, an experience I would like to avoid in my future. When I checked out of the hotel room the next morning and told my story to the front desk, they told me I should come back in the Fall to see the Trantulas migrating in town.
