Goddamn, you're the best, dude. Your songs just hit that sweet spot between the vaporwave and all-time classics with a vocaloid singer cherry on top. I don't know if it's on purpose, but I love the fact that she still sounds a bit robotic, because some producers make her sound way too human and it kind of ruins the magic.

I texted the youtube link of this song to my dad, who'd never heard vocaloid before (tho he understood the concept since I'd been working w it), and his response was "dude, Tales From the Big Chair was the first album I ever bought, this better be good" n fifteen minutes later was like "yeah they nailed the cover" P.S. to astrophysics: I don't know if you ever stated that you work in fl studio but that was my music venue of choice (some ppl play guitar, I played with fl for like an hour n a half a day) back in highschool. Iunno, any time I notice ppl using the software stuff I used I just want to express that I'm proud of the person that used it. Cuz like, fl studio is a capable program (hell, Porter Robinson made the entirety of Nurture on that thing, it's his home) but like, wrangling all the synths to sound muted and not-busy enough to match 80's sounds is impressive!
The instrumentation on this is phenomenal. I honestly prefer this version over the original; it sold me on Miku's vox on these covers. I wish there was an instrumental version too!

It was lightly raining one Saturday morning in December, and I was sad and bored. I got in my brother's barely running Chevy Vega (he left it at our small farm in Athens GA when he moved out) and with a little jiggling of wires was able to start it up. I could barely reach the car's brake and gas pedals. I reached into my small box of tapes and pulled out my brand new copy of Songs from the Big Chair. The sound over the car's cheap and old OEM speakers was crispy but that didn't matter, if anything it added to the vibe. I drove around the edges of our fields for a couple hours listening to each side through over and over. Head over Heals was perfect theme song for how depressed, lonely and confused I was back then. I wasn't old enough to understand the words, but the music and vocal melodies were enough. This cover is straight fire. Thank you for reminding me of this day.
