I was there. Never seen so many people so drunk. It was chaos. People falling down everywhere, whole sets of porta potties overflowing. Had a great time. Back next year.

My favorite golf tourney. The PGA needs more like this. Most tourneys are stuffy and boring. The Phoenix Open is crazy and perfect for Super Bowl weekend. Keep it up.

I will provide to you how golf is not dying, it is growing and expanding. We now have over twenty professional golf tour circuits - The PGA, and LPGA, LIV, Korn Ferry, World Tour, The Champions just to name the more popular ones. The PGA just announced a $3.2 Billion equity agreement with Strategic Sports Group. The golf equipment market in the US alone surpassed $13 Billion in 2023. New golf course construction levels are now higher than pre-pandemic levels. I could go on, but you probably don't care. You would just rather wallow in your blissful ignorance and keep making baseless inane statements.

lol. This event had 185,000 people there. LIV doesn’t have that problem. About 85 people there. And LIV modeled many of their tournaments after the Phoenix Open promoting cheap beer and loud music. Try again.

Only reason no one is at LIV is because they don’t have a big presence in the United States yet. You can’t when PGA controls everything. If you pay attention to the TH-cam golf community the trend is towards the direction of LIV and not the PGA. The good good tournament last week was a glimpse of what the youth want; team golf, music, and no seriousness. The sponsors will have to bend to the next generation. The old PGA model is dying dinosaur
@@Tozer746 I agree with you 100%. LIV is next generation for sure. Don’t see the need for music but whatever. IMO, loudness is attention seeking. I’ll just watch the majors now. Watched LIV Saturday. Big names, but not much legacy to play for. Definitely don’t think the TV leaderboard is good. Even my wife was like wth is that? And she loves golf.

I agree. I think that is why they put in the team concept. My kid plays PGA jr league and its team based which the kids love. I even see kids now wearing 4aces or crushers hats so LIV may have something with the teams angle. I know the kids love Good Good, Bryan Brothers and the host of other TH-cam golfers. All they do are 2v2 or 3v3. Rarely do you see them competing against each other individually. PGA will never have another Tiger so something has to change for the sponsors to keep committing so much money.
