I feel blessed that at the age of 11 i knew my step father was acting very strange towards me. I finally had enough and knew it had to stop i physically threw him down the stairs and locked him out of the house then threatened my Mother what would happen if she let him in. This was in the mid 60s

Thank you Yemi for sharing bits of your message with us all. I hope Alex brings you back one day so we can actually hear more about you and the life lessons you have to share. I'm not sure why but Alex seemed more interested in sharing his life experience and views then allowing Yemi the guest share with the world hers. Great conversation, however, I hope you one day allow Yemi back to share her insights and thoughts.

I agree wholeheartedly. She opened up about her trauma and as soon as it was back to him he spent 10 minutes about his. Idk it just rubbed me the wrong way… going to continue the rest of the video now 😅

I have found that you get stronger. Only if you transorm the trauma into love and empathy and compasson. Decide what you want to spend your time thinking, doing... experiencing everyday of your life. For me, I dug in and worked on my thoughts, beliefs and experiences. My husband used to ask me when I would come home from my therapist crying, "Why would you intentionally go do somehting that was going to make you this sad?" All I could say was that this is the way to get to freedom and happiness. The joy is on the other side of the pain. Flat out truth.

One of my favourite movie quotes is from Rocky Balboa (#6). When his son complains about how hard it is living in his father’s shadow, Rocky tells him..,"It ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!”

It is by the grace of such shared experiences and the incentive of human connection that I am becoming who I am supposed to be, rather than wallowing or partipating (which I tried and can't recommend btw) in the elaborate illusion.
Brave souls saying this is how I eased my suffering so I could see straight...this is the human chain we are constructing so that one by one we are freed of acute suffering and reacquainted with our intrinsic way. In this reality, we are plenty equal to our day.❤

This is awesome the modality that is really been an eye opener to me is body code, emotion code and belief code in tandem is like whipping out 10 years of subconscious trauma. She also works with subconscious and goes into past life trauma and so much more! If anyone is interested in the practitioner I use please reply and I’ll share her info.
