    Thanks for watching, everyone! I love checking out other people's shop tour videos-there’s always something inspiring about how they set things up or what they’ve done. Hopefully, I can do the same for you. It’s been a long journey, and the shop’s still a work in progress!

      Always a work in progress. 😂 I could write happily continue to spend my time building my shop rather than projects for the house and elsewhere, but compromises must be made. Nice job, so far. Looking forward to the 2026 tour. 👍

      @wwtrkr3189 I’ve been extremely guilty of spending a large portion of my time building shop furniture and working on the layout, but I really enjoy it. 👊🏻

    For your 3D print station , have you ever considered wall mounted folding accordian steps just below the glass doors. It wouldn't take up space and would give you a firm base along the entire length of the station.

    • @brewbuilds
      @brewbuilds  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I did consider something like that, but I chose the step ladder for practicality and easy. Good thought though! 👊🏻

    A shout out from another eastern (Tri-Cities area) Washington State hobby woodworker. Great looking shop with some great ideas. Mine is about a third of my 40 x 60 pole building. Always looking for ideas and excuses for changing or rearranging my shop layout. Thanks

    Great shop and great shop tour!
    I would recommend building a set of long stairs in front of the 3D printer station, with long storage just like the plywood rack.

    As far as the 19/38 goes.. the most useful accessory for that is absolutely the DRO. Highly recommend installing it on the machine. Makes sanding to a specific thickness a BREEZE! The tables are a nice have and if your budget allows get them too

    • @brewbuilds
      @brewbuilds  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ve got my eye on the DRO, I think that would make a huge difference. The factory thickness setting seems a little goofy to me. I’m also definitely ordering the in-feed and out-feed tables. They didn’t have any in stock at woodcraft when I bought my 19-38.
      Also I’m glad you’re liking the timer for your clear vue. I’ve enjoyed it as well. Thanks for watching and commenting, it’s always nice seeing familiar faces in the comment section. 👊🏻

    Great looking shop~!! This was the first video of yours I've seen and I'm definitely going back to see your previous content posts. Those columns are something that I've been wanting to incorporate into my workshop...a 30'x40' pole barn. I don't have a ceiling below the roof, so the trusses (spaced 10') will have to work for anchoring the columns. I have Jay Bates' plans for his miter station, which is something that I desperately need to get started on...too much clutter on my horizontal surfaces due to lack of cabinets/storage. I also really like your sheet goods storage and 3D printer stage~! Another idea that I might need to borrow. Thanks for sharing the tour~!

    I absolutely love the Clear Vue auto timer mod that you turned me on to. No more wondering if the machine has run the recommended 15 minutes or not and the emergency cut off switch gets used when Im making quick cuts where the Dust collector only runs for less than a minute. (in my opinion not enough time to heat up the motor)

    I truly enjoy watching your content. I have been watching you for a couple of years and you are good at “teaching” the why’s to what your methods are and I appreciate you sharing this logic. I do not have a 3D printer but would be interested in purchasing the overarm dust collection hood if you plan on printing the pieces. I just got my new Oneida V system installed and I went large just for that reason.

    Always liked the library style ladders too. Why not just make it shorter like the height of the step ladder? Seeing some of your cool ideas ..I'm sure you could come up with a way to also have the ladder roll freely until weight is applied like the metal ladders at the big box stores. Just an idea. Awesome shop though BTW! 💪🏾

      @@NoirwoodStation Thanks for watching and the support! I had a few people comment a very similar idea in that video, and you may have been one of them. I think that is a great idea and would definitely fill my desire for a library ladder and make it practical at the same time. Maybe I’ll circle back to it!

    This looks like the perfect sized shop. Great spot for your printers. Having climate control beats having to keep an eye on the filament and baking at low temp if too humid. GREAT shop! Definitely a dream of mine. One suggestion. Find a local high school that has a wood shop class and donate all those off cuts. I did this and the shop teacher was elated! I’ve seen so many projects come to life with wood that would otherwise be taking up space in my shop. Bonus is he talked the school district in to giving me proof of the donation to use as a tax deduction.

    It's great to see the workshop is going strong and that you still continue to use the shower door sealer strips on the 3d printing station. Rob the strangest thing about your shop and mine is there's so many similarities. I.e the workbench is exactly the same as mine🧐, i still haven't installed any vices whatsoever 🤔, the cnc i purchased i managed to build it a year ago. I only played around with it once when I built it. Unfortunately, this past year has been a crappy one due to heart issues and other sodding issues, nomatter what I intend to be doing something with it after Christmas for sure, as i hate wasting money 🤣😂. That said I hope that you and the family have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy Newyear and i look forward to seeing what you manage to achieve going forward with your workshop 🙏.
